Jiva was at his happiest here and it would disappoint him later that he had to do it all with alcohol, but for now he was happy very very very happy, in a bliss that was al his own. He let her lay there after his howl, after his absolute confession. He wanted her and she knew it, but he was too much of a gentleman to go any further with her. He wanted to take things slow, to make sure they both wanted the same thing. This would help them move forward or drive them apart, he wouldn’t know until the morning but for now, he was just plain happy.
He did finally sit up however as she tightened her hold on him and he hugged her then somehow was able to pick her up and himself off the floor and headed out to the door, in a state that he should question what he was doing, he wasn’t trying to knock the poor girl in the head but he wasn’t sure if he did or not trying to get the poor woman out the door. It wasn’t long before he did have to put her down. The cool air did sober him a bit and he held out his hand.
“I may need a little help gettin’ home.”
He smiled at her, one of his eyes drooping a little before he shook his head. He forgot how sleepy this stuff did make him, but he knew if she were with him he could make it home before he just fell asleep anywhere. He would be strong enough to make sure he helped her as well and he wouldn’t let her just fall asleep out in the open land where anything could descend on them.
