The ember and gold female snarled and struggled, trying desperately to pull away from her enemy's grasp. She's let a robbery go bad and had been caught. She was so close to grabbing his nap sack and getting away after kindly conversing with him for several minutes. He was spitting curses at her, ready to rip the slender female to shreds. His hand was tightly grasping her wrist as he tugged her close giving her a perverted smile. Sidra knew what he was thinking and wouldn't have anything of the sort happen to her, not again. It seems she wouldn't be able to get out of this one without a fight.

With one swift movement she grasped the large male's other arm and pulled him close, bringing her knee up to forcefully hit him in the crotch. He gave a yelp and released her, a whisper-like snarl escaping his jaws as he tried his best to stay standing after the crippling blow. Sidra kicked him back on to the forest floor. The poor bastard was rolling around in agony. Sidra gave him a low growl followed by a short snicker, thinking it incredibly funny how easily males could be injured if you hit them in the right area. She grabbed his bag, gave him a swift kick in the back, and made her way to Soloman. He continued to throw curses at her as he lay on the floor. She quickly tied his bag to Sully, and stood there for a moment looking over at the sorry male. "I can't believe you fell for it, you're just as pathetic as the rest." Without thought she took a couple steps towards him. "Oh, I'm not sure if you'll be making any children. Just hope I'm wrong."

While her back was turned, the earthy male got up and charged her with full speed. She had sent him into a rage. Before he could reach her, Sidra was making her escape hysterically cackling back at him. I'll make good use of your things! I promise!" With that, she was gone.

Once she knew she was safe, she picked a spot to rest. She tied Soloman to a tree and sat down at the base of it. The pack she'd stolen contained a flask full whiskey, some cigarettes, some shiny trinkets, and some articles of clothing. It wasn't worth the trouble she put herself in. Sidra gave a huff of discontent, snarling at the bag and tossing it aside like trash. "Well great, I would have at least expected something worth while." She lay her head against the tree and look up through the tree tops while she thought about her life until now. "Juuuust great." The recent happenings had left her in a simply horrendous mood. She wanted nothing more than to site here in peace.

The young female was growing up strong. Herding animals was her passion, and keeping control of them was hard work. She got up early and worked all day, as was her ambition, and she wasn't all that skinny any more. Animal tending had its rewards, and though she was a pescatarian, she still got to eat a lot of the produce that came with farming. She'd always been broad shouldered and tall, though her shyness meant she often stooped over as she walked, as if she was hiding something. At ten months old she was getting the curves and shape of a budding young woman, but she hid this with her posture (which she was always getting scolded for). Her hair was cut boyishly short...if she were to stand up straight, she'd be a very cute girl, but time and time again she was still mistaken for a boy. Strangers would mock her for this, and now she had started venturing out of her pack, where she had the respect of her family, her self esteem was declining tragically.

How she had ended up in this particular area baffled her. Aoi skulked around with Saigai, the crow, on her shoulder, sniffing the air here and there but not paying much attention to anything. Her feet were bare, but she was wearing a huge, oversized sweater, more than likely fitting of a man. Only ten months old and she was 5'9 in height, but the sweater still dwarfed her, covering up her body all the way until it reached her knees. Since her tail had grown long and fluffy, she'd given up wearing trousers, but gone for even bigger hoodies and sweaters to cover up what she could. Absently, she ran a hand through her hair and clutched her backpack closer to her. It had a sketchbook, pencil set, and a great number of books inside it. Most of her possessions were human... she didn't mind. They might have been described as a corrupt race, but from reading their writing, she had fallen in love with the humans.

As the girl walked further into the unknown, her pace a shambling, minute one, she smelt others. She immidietly headed away from the pair she could smell, but not before spotting a male get attacked by a female a good distance ahead. Aoi raised her eyebrows and hurried along, not wanting to get involved. However, she hadn't realised that Sidra would be running too, and soon enough, she had walked real close to the stranger female. Aoi watched with startled black-brown eyes, to see Sidra open the bag, search the contents and then throw them to the ground. A robber? This made Aoi quite scared indeed. She picked up her footing, aiming to just pass right by and get on her way, when Saigai leapt from her shoulder. He was a scavenger, and he wouldn't let discarded items go to waste. Aoi turned to watch, her mouth wide as the crow flew into the bag and came back up with a single cigarette. Saigai, no! Aoi screamed. She ran up to him, made him drop the dirty (in her opinion) item, and then picked the crow up with both paws, backing away slowly. Sorry. she whispered to Sidra timidly, looking at the ground. She'd never dare meet her in the eye. Hitching her backpack further up her shoulders, Aoi attempted to scamper away, hoping she had not encountered a foe of some sort.

Sidra's breath was still heavy from the fight with the man, her hackles were risen on her back unintentionally. She couldn't help but be on edge from a scuffle with a man. It reminded her all to well of her dreadful past. Bits and pieces of her fowl background played in her head, a look of dismay and anger placed on her calico face. The black and gold female tried to shake her head of the thoughts. Eyes closed, she heard the flapping of wings close to her. Her opal eyes jolted open to see the crow stealing from her stolen belongings. "Hey!!" She immediately stood up and attempted to grab the cigarette from the scavenging creature and swat him away but a screaming voice caught her attention.

Sidra's slender head shifted to meet the eyes of the odd looking stranger who was running after the crow. It sounded like a female but sure as hell didn't look like one. She was wearing a sweater that covered most of her body and had short hair like a man. Eyebrows raised at the sight. At this point, her teeth were bared viciously. Was this girl honestly trying to steal her things? If so, she wasn't going to get away with it. Sidra watched with narrowed eyes as the wolf came up and snatched the crow, it released the cigarette and Sidra shuffled to pick it up and brush it off. She was such a stingy being. The stranger backed up as Sidra came towards her, once she had the cigarette back in her possession she stood as tall as her body would allow and glared down at the shy female with malicious eyes. It only irritated her further that the stranger wouldn't raise her head to face her. The stranger simply turned to run, but she wouldn't have it.

The angered female reached out to grab the girl's backpack so she couldn't run away. A low growl rumbled from her chest. "You think you're going to get away with trying to steal my stuff? Sorry isn't gonna cut it. Turn around and look at me!" Bright colored eyes wondered over the stranger. Sidra picked up the scent of other wolves on her, she was from a pack. That wasn't going to stop her from doing whatever necessary to get her point across.

Oh dear. It seemed that the female really had got herself into a bit of a pickle. She cringed at the foul tone of the stranger, directed at Saigai, and found herself shaking a little as if begging for mercy. Everything that had once been peaceful that day was now disrupted, and Aoi only had
herself to blame. Quaking like a minor hurricane, she attempted to scurry away, although it seemed that would not quite cut the cheese. She almost glared, freezing as Sidra called out to her as she tried meekly to shrink away. She wouldn't be geting away all that easily, it seemed. Her brown eyes grew quite wide and wild indeed and her posture stiffend in all its tall glory. Aoi was almost considering ignoring the stranger all together and simply making a bolt for it, however once her bag was grabbed there seemed basically no hope in trying that at all. A slight sigh escaped her and then she gave in, stooping up and turning her head to meet that of the strangers. Her eyes had lost their former brightness and now she looked blank. Still, there was a lot of fright in her expression, that was for sure.

Saigai scurried out of her paws at this point, squirming away and flying into a nearby tree like the coward he was. Aoi sighed but made no comment, trying to muster up the courage to speak. G- get off my bag. she mumbled, gaze flickering away as she was unable to hold Sidra's for long. Her broad shoulders heaved and she meekly tried to tug away. She was stronger than that, but it had never been in her to hurt anybody. I was not stealing. the girl explained uncomfortably, shrinking within herself as her low self esteem made her do. It never occurred to
the mild girl to threaten the stranger in any way, even though there were lots of things she could have said in her own defence. Her father did lead a pack, after all. And he loved her. She hoped. But he was so far away now, chances were if her dead carcass was left here, nobody would ever know. Aoi
found herself wondering if she'd actually be missed.
