OOC goes here.

Dalgina listened, eyes widening in surprise as her life was shed in a new perspective. She hadn't considered that. Her memories of the pack she'd been born in were fading, it was such a small part of her life. Still, she had been somewhere before. Her tail wagged as he spoke, turning something she hadn't thought much of into something grand. Dalgina had been terrified by the move when it had happened, spending most of it fantasizing about being hurt. If she had thought about it this way, perhaps she would have liked it more.

Dalgina laughed softly as he tripped over his words, nodding her head. Glory certainly wasn't the right word for it, but she understood what he meant. She had experienced the world, if a smaller slice than he had. She didn't have to look down on it. Glancing up Dalgina took in a deep breath, watching the sky. It was a perfect piercing blue, nary a cloud to brush across it. Yes. Thanks. The last carving was finished, Dalgina's hand running over the rough shape. Picking up some leather she strung it through the hole she'd formed, slipping it around her neck. Now she'd give them to her siblings.

(--) Can end here or you reply again, either way? o:

Vasiliy is by Raze!

Despite his stumbling over the words, Dalgina seemed to understand well enough. Though she spoke little, this was fine with Vasiliy -- he was content with silence, and when he was not, he might speak. His eyes looked upwards with hers, and they followed the outline of a single cloud, hovering low to the horizon and moving off quickly. The rest of the sky was open and clear and wonderfully blue, certainly outdoing his own pale eyes for vividness. The lack of a sound brought him back to earth, and he saw Dalgina had ceased carving and was in the process of stringing the little carving onto leather. He watched this process with a faint smile.

Your hands must have sore now, and I must be talking ears right off your head, the Russian said. I will leave you now, but we talk soon again, yes? I take house in Thornbury -- visit anytime, the dark-furred wolf said, standing up slowly and stretching out as he did so. He was glad to have met Dalgina, but he did not wish to overwhelm her, either. It was good to meet you, he said, extending a hand down -- whether to shake hers or help her up to her feet, he was not sure, but it was there in case she wanted it.

Dalgina looked up to the large wolf. Smiling softly she nodded his head. Her hands were a little sore, though Dalgina was willing to continue listening to him speak. He had a nice voice. There was so much for her to learn about from him. She would listen to him longer if she could. With his invitation Dalgina's tail wagged gently behind her. Had she made a friend? Okay. She would come and visit when she could. Her brown eyes glowed with the thought, though unsure of what they would do together.

Nice to meet you too. Accepting the hand Dalgina stood up. Releasing it she clutched the carvings she'd made. For a moment she just stood there. It lasted briefly, brown eyes flickering up to his blue before turning and vanishing back into the forest, working to where her siblings were to give them the gifts she held for them.
