Samantha held the bundle of furs in her thin arms nervously, even with her short stay in Casa so far, the realm simply wasn't known to the ivory female. A strand of black hair streaked through with crimson was brushed away from seafoam orbs as she looked around. It seemed as of late that Rain simply didn't have the time for her. Wasn't that what mates devoted themselves to? She thought so. They had just met eachother again, and now things seemed to be gaining distance. Quintus was busy in the barn and sparring with Lux, they were oblivious to the tension overwhelming the girl. A litter, of her and Rain's own seemed far away. Not until they could talk about things.

Bluish green eyes glanced about, the sun shone and the water in which her feet splished about in was cool and sparkling like a handful of diamonds. Perfect in every way to the flawed wolfess. He hadn't noticed the things she had made herself beautiful with. Maybe that was just a fact of life. She was there, nothing else. Sighing, Sammi rose and moved back into the shade of trees, large grey-tipped ears falling against her skull. How long would it be? Before he was forced to be hers again? The Jarret princess slipped into a tree, climbing not too high. She reclined, slender arms and legs falling into the curves of the branches as if they belonged there.

There wasn't an awfully great view, nothing that would stick in the girl's memory. And now she could be lazy, recline happilyy in the trees...If only more was ongoing...

Adelle fiddled with the staff she practiced with. It was almost as if she could still feel Skoll's hands resting on it. He was such a bold creature, amusing Adelle. They always had so much fun, even if they were fooling around with weapons. Adelle learned a lot of english from playing with him, eager to improve so that she could talk with him better. It was more fun playing with Skoll than with Cadmeia. Cadmeia was so small, easy to squish, and she thought a lot more about things than Adelle did. The gold and black female tended to do things without thinking much, acting out how she felt, while the kit put more energy into deciding.

Pausing Adelle looked over into the water. Her first time appearing in optime before Skoll, and she realized that she might not even look that great. One hand reached up, tugging on the short bob around her face. The black curls did look cute, but Adelle just didn't feel that they fit her. Suddenly nothing about her appearance was very satisfying. She didn't look like Isa, or Anann, or one of the other females in the pack. She was just big and bulky. Stepping back Adelle sniffed the air, picking up the scent of someone she hadn't met before. Tail wagging she spun around, spotting the treed female. Hello! Hopefully she hadn't seen how silly Adelle had been acting.

<3 lalalala Miss Sammi is emotional<.<Word Count :: 451

So many worries flitted and fluttered through the young woman's mind like the breeze that slightly ruffled her fur in the tree she sat in. When was her last real interaction with Rain? Where they actually talked and he listened? It was the day after they joined up in Casa di Cavalieri, ever since then--It was fleeting gestures and quick glances, small conversations, but nothing deep like the healer preferred. Sammi missed Anathema, being the Furcas and happily following after the Corson and fixing small cuts and things. But was there seriously a tier here in which she could express her medic talents? Blue eyes closed helplessly, hands pressing over the eyebrow ring in which she traded so much to have done. The sapphire embedded twinkled in the sun. All for the price of her beloved not seeing. And maybe--Just maybe she wasn't beautiful enough for him to notice. Her hair flew around without a direction, colored and choppy. She was underweight. Responsible for the weakness when the pups were birthed, killing them all. Sharp nails clutched the wood as the partial-albino crinkled her pink nose, it was really all her fault. Even Quintus seemed to silently utter that. There was nothing Samantha could do to fix anything.

Another scent swirled in the wind, masking her thoughts with sudden curiosity. Sam looked down, and already was a huge (but muscular huge) girl. She looked tough, and something had the young woman admiring her for that. "Hey." Sam managed, wiggling a pink palm in greeting. The white-furred girl was happy to know her scent carried that of Casa. Anyone could have mistaken her for a spy. An infiltrator. An unwanted intruder.

Steady hands gripped the solid branches as she swung herself out of the tree. She marveled at the height of the adolescent, even for a wolf--Sam wasn't very tall. "So, I'm Sam..." The awkward introduction was given a small smile, yet inside she was still experiencing conflict. Maybe Rain had secretly found another woman, lost interest in the petite woman he called his mate. An extra, someone to use and suddenly push away. She couldn't help it, a single year fell from an aquamarine eye, moving several paces away from the other "I'm sorry--I-I have a lot going on..." The remainder of the tear was brushed away, pushed with a soft pink-padded finger. A laugh was given, with a burst of fool's courage. "Things have just been a bit crazy." Feet swished in the ground, softly stirring up the loose dirt. "What do you guys do here? I mean--I can't fight. I heal, do you think they have that?" Long grey ears pulled back curiously, holding herself straight before the other. The furs she had held lay in a sad heap at the base of the tree, useless for the time being.

A hand was waved down at Adelle. Intrigued by the pink coloring she stepped closer. She hadn't ever seen anyone with that kind of coloring before. It was very pretty. Most of the wolves she knew had black pads. Agilely the white wolf swung down. That was amazing to see, quick and lithe and strong. Adelle couldn't do anything like that. She would have gone crashing through the trees. Not clumsy, but definitely with less grace than the small wolf before her. She didn't notice the awkwardness in the words, awkward enough with her own nature.

I'm Adelle. Her tail wagged happily, pleased with meeting a member of the pack she hadn't run into before. Ice blue eyes widened with worry as a tear fell down. Why was she crying? Adelle had never cried much as a child. When sad it had always been internal, noted with a slight reluctance to interact. Tears had only come when pushed to desperation. Laughter came, a startling experience for her. Asked what the pack did left Adelle a little dumbfounded. She knew what she did. Train, patrol, visit with Skoll. What more was there? Was there more she should be doing? Experiencing?

Asked if they healed Adelle rapidly nodded her head. That was something she understood. Yes. Grandpa heals. He takes care of the pack. He does well with everyone. You heal with him? She could certainly do that, Adelle didn't see why she couldn't be a healer.
