Meeting Clara had been an interesting experience, a lovely woman she was. The same with Skye too, a strong woman she was kind of like Annan or his own mother who had been a fiery type of woman. All good things to be admired in a female. His Juliet was a lot softer but she was no less strong, she had to have been to survive what she had been through. He knew that she loved him and that he loved her more than he wanted his next breath, in fact he could happily do without his next breath just to see her sweet smile or hear her beautiful voice.

For now Lorenzo was playing the part of wall flower. So far this night he had conversed with more people than he had all year, and it was only a few so not much to crow about. The Knight male chuckled to himself at the thought and pulled his brown cloak closer around his body so that he didn't knock anything over with it. He took a sip of his drink and just watched the dancers move about the floor, he had danced with Juliet once tonight and he would do so several times before this evening was over, she was adamant about that, he had only been allowed to leave her presence before she had gotten that promise from him.

Isa was having a great time at the ball. She had never danced before, and wasn’t very good at it, but she was still having the time of her life. Her and Hadley shared a few dances and even Jazper had asked her to dance. She didn’t feel as sick anymore either, which was a relief. She hated always having to run out on a conversation or whatever she was doing at the time when she got nauseous. She noticed Lorenzo standing off on his own and since Hadley was busy, she decided she would spend some time with him.

Making her way over to where the young Knight was as a smile formed on her face, Isa bowed her head slightly in greeting. Hello Lorenzo, enjoying the ball? Like his father, Enzo was one of the few who was able to surpass Isa’s height. She looked out at the crowd and noticed his mate, Juliet. She looked absolutely beautiful, but she usually did. Turning her attention back to the man beside her, Isa gave him another smile as she spoke. Planning on making her your mate soon? It was probably more of a personal question but he didn’t have to answer if he didn’t want to. The pair certainly did make a cute couple.
