The woman sat upon her massive horse, smiling jovially. She rode through the lesser forest, urging Valhalla to trot quickly through the tall pine trees. Reykr had spent almost everyday with her and she quite enjoyed his company, they almost never ran out of things to talk about. However, with his constant company she noticed something else. Besides the quick glance she had tossed at Ataxia, she hadn't seen the D'Angelo girl much and she felt it was high time to go see the girl. Word around the ruins was that she had gained a new mount from the storming of the camp, and Alessandra would love the opportunity to go riding with her. Growing impatient, she dug her heels into the black Friesiens side and clicked her tongue. He shot forward, snorting in protest but doing what his master asked anyways.

Hooves the size of dinner plates thundered over the ground, and in any other situation those on the ground would be running about in terror at the sight of the apocalypse on horseback, but today was too nice and beautiful to let war rule her mind. She was not looking for strife or battle on this day, she was looking for something akin to a ' girls day ' with her only female friend in the whole pack. As the wind blew through her hair she turned back to gaze towards the lesser forest, noticing storm clouds rolling in towards the borders. Oh well, it might be fun to ride in the rain. Hopefully Ataxia would want to still go riding, despite the churning weather. Alessandra bounced on the horses back, choosing to go without her saddle and reins today. There was no reason for her to fall off of Valhalla and this way she could get more practice and grow closer with Valhalla.

The pair drew closer to the ruins and Ataxia's residence came into site. The scent of a strange mount was plastered everywhere and Alessandra smiled before riding closer to the house, yipping to announce her presence to the Family ranked girl. " Ataxia? " She called eagerly, slowing Valhalla to a standstill before swinging off. As her feet hit the dry ground a cloud of dust rose into the air and she had to pause to wipe her lower fur off before continuing. Less strode up to the door of the house and rapped on it with her knuckles three times before stepping back and waiting for the wolf girl patiently. While she was waiting her azure eyes sought the storm that was coming, glittering in the sunlight.

Ataxia placed the snake inside the drawer she still thought of as Tlanti's. Even though the woman was gone and the scent was fading from the house, she still couldn't shake her presence from her mind. It was her own fault. She had chosen to live here, instead of some place closer to her mother or sisters. For some reason her puppy mind had obsession with the blonde coyote, and now that she was almost an adult, she couldn't quite figure out why. Perhaps it was simply the power she held and the depth of knowledge she knew about the unseen, spiritual part of the world that Ataxia was drawn to. Then again, her mother Eris held a similar sort of knowledge, although it lacked the inclusion of a god.

The young hybrid's mind went back to her mother, and how she had been missing in the recent meeting. Although she had nothing to do with her mother's fall from power, she felt guilty for ignoring her. The girl furthermore had no idea how she should act with Silvia in power. The pale woman may have been her sister, but they weren't close. A feeling of uneasiness had settled over her. When her mother was the Auxiliary, she unconsciously thought she had immunity to punishment and now that notion was being chipped away. She was more afraid of getting in trouble than she had been, not quite so bold as before.

She heard a yip from outside, and the sound of her name being called and something being rapped against the stone of her archway. The dark hybrid immediately recognized the voice as belonging to Alessandra, the coyote-hybrid she had met a few days after her father's death. Quickly, she smoothed out her long hair and made sure there weren't any residual tangles in it. The house lacked a mirror, something she would have to remedy, so she could not quite be sure it looked right. Still, there was no other reason to delay. Ataxia removed her hands from her hair and pushed back the fur that covered the building's entryway. "Hi," she answered, almost shyly and stepped out.
