Adriana had been rather anti-social lately and felt the need to actually get out. Perhaps she could spend some time with Hadley, see how he’s doing. She knew he must be busy with the pups on the way. No doubt he was extremely nervous as well. That seemed to be his nature though. He seemed nervous quite often. She didn’t know why he was like that and wasn’t going to pry, it was none of her business anyway. If he felt like talking with her about things like that, then he could on his own time.

The brown woman made her way to his and Ismeme’s room, knocking on the door. Perhaps he wasn’t even home. He could be out with his mate, or just out doing something. It didn’t hurt to find out though so she waited outside the door and waited for an answer.

Hadley had been sleeping. His nights had been full of horrors lately, reliving the torture he'd gone through. During the day he knew he was safe, but at night he would watch Isa, or the pups that she carried, taken by Amy and tormented. Always, he was unable to speak out. Unable to move as they cried out for him to rescue them. Even worse, at one point Isa turned away, willingly follow Amy, "disgusted" by his lack of strength.

It had left him rather worn out, sleeping when he could. The gentle knock brought him upright, eyes wide with fear. It took a moment before he realized that he was in the larger room he'd claimed with Isa. There was nothing to fear. Looking around he took in a deep breath. Swinging over the side he stepped over to the door, opening it. Blinking in surprise he looked at the hybrid. Adriana. I'm afraid Isa isn't here.

She wasn’t sure if Hadley would even be there or not, but it was worth a try. It didn’t take long before the hybrid opened the door, seeming to be surprised. He assumed she had gone there looking for Ismeme though. I actually was looking for you Hadley. She smiled as she continued. I was wondering if you would like to go for a ride and talk for a bit. She knew Isa had brought back a couple of horses, one of which was now owned by Hadley. It would be nice to just go on a ride with the nervous Hybrid.

Adriana hoped he would agree, she could use some fresh air. Just get out of the Fort and wander around Casa di Cavalieri for a little while. It would be nice, especially if she had someone to wander with.

The petite female's words surprised him. Why would Adrian be looking for him? They had nothing in common. Nothing holding them together. Except for when he'd first met her and mistook her for Selene. A very embarrassing situation, truly. One he hoped to be able to forget and bury. He waited for the explanation, a mildly puzzled expression resting there. Did she need help with something? Her words did clear things up a little. Of course. He could ride Blessing. What they could talk about was a mystery.

Hadley stepped outside, closing the door gently behind him. He followed her to the stables, a curious expression on his face. He stepped into the stall with Blessing, petting the large mare. He wasn't a very good rider, but the mare was patient with him. Even if she wasn't as good at being ridden as another horse might be. He rode her bareback, not really sure how to use a saddle. The best he could Hadley clambered onto Blessing's back, the horse snorting and stamping a little as he did so. Carefully he walked her out, glad she had such a calm temperament. Or maybe it was just she was too big to really want to rear up.

At first, Adriana wasn’t sure if he would accept her offer but then he spoke up and agreed to a ride. Once at the stables, Hadley quickly went to get his new horse, Blessing as she moved into Dalia’s stall. To her surprise, Elroy was in the stall with the mare. She chuckled as the martin quickly scampered up to her as she kneeled down to let him climb up onto her shoulder. Handing Dalia an apple, Adriana brought her out of the stall and mounted the large draft.

Together, they walked out of the stables and then waited for Hadley and Blessing to follow. She watched as the pair walked out carefully. Hadley seemed so hesitant with Blessing. Perhaps he thought he would hurt her since he was so large. She’s a sweetheart alright. She smiled at Hadley as Dalia whinnied happily. It wasn’t too often that she got to run with another. Bringing the mare up to a trot as they started on their ride, Adriana spoke up again. So how is Isa doing?

Hadley's tail wagged behind him, hearing Adriana's compliment for Blessing. He loved the big horse. It was wonderful that Isa had been so thoughtful, trading for horses for all of them. He wasn't sure what she had traded for them, but it was a wonderful deal. She always seemed to know what Hadley wanted. He loved the horses, as little as he knew about them. Hadley was gentle with them, caring and feeding them when he could and Dixie and Wayne hadn't done it already.

She's just right. Even if she wasn't the best for riding. Mostly it was Hadley sitting on her back while Blessing did whatever she wanted. She didn't know how to listen to him, and he didn't know how to steer her. The large mare tried to avoid getting him on her back as well, but at least she settled down once that happened. As Adriana brought her horse to a trot Blessing picked up speed, turning and veering away from where Adriana was. Embarrassing that he couldn't turn her. Good. He shouted it over his shoulder, hoping Adrian wouldn't think he was being rude.

Hadley appeared to be thrilled with the compliment for his mare. She certainly was a beautiful horse and she seemed to be such a gentle creature too. Hadley obviously loved the mare already, even if she wasn’t too fond of being ridden. Adriana laughed as Blessing took off in a different direction with Hadley. It seemed as though she would need to teach the hybrid how to ride. Dalia quickly took off after Blessing and ran in front of the other mare in an attempt to get her to stop. Adriana spoke low speech to try to get the horse to slow down, coaxing her to calm down and promising treats if she cooperated with the male on her back.

Hopefully Blessing would listen so she could give Hadley a few riding lessons. It was difficult to teach when the horse was galloping at full speed.

Laughter echoed through the woods, his ears flattening with embarrassment. It had to be a rather ridiculous sight, a predator being carried off by his prey. Not that he would ever eat Blessing. He held on the best he could for the bumpy movement, ducking as branches and the like came into view. Blessing chose a fairly clear route, but he was taller than the horse, and still had to duck to avoid some of the higher up items. Blessing snorted as the other horse came into view, eying her suspiciously.

Hadley closed his eyes as he watched Adriana come up, feeling a tad humiliated. He wished she hadn't seen that. A red flush ran through his skin, darkening his features. The calling sounds didn't mean much to him, but soon enough Blessing had halted in her travels, standing still and munching on a nearby bush instead. Opening his eyes he let out a breath of air, shaking his head. It shouldn't have happened. Maybe Wayne could give him some lessons.
