Nimue took a few hesitant steps forward as she trembled, a hind leg slipping into one of the many muddy chasms that spotted the Sparkshadow before she pulled it out swiftly with a start.

It was then she spotted the starless wraith approach, tearing away the earth in her enraged wake and in an instant Nimue collapsed meekly to her side, exposing the tender flesh that lined her belly and throat in soft, light grey fur, gaze intent on the queen bitch's chest as to not look boldly in her cerulean eyes. Mercy or no mercy, it mattered not to Nimue, Siku would have her life either way, though the Northerner wished desperately that it would not be her's today. Nim owed Siku blood and blood she would provide.

With an unnatural violence the young woman took her foreleg between her jaws and thrashed, splattering blood across the ground near Siku's feet before lowering again in defeat.

She prayed to the old gods and the new that Siku would get the meaning; Nimue owed her blood and she would give it to her, she would find somewolf deserving of death and Tartok's wrath and bring the queen bitch their blood in payment for her's until her debt had been repayed.

Perseus roamed along the coast, a wraith in the colourless pitch of night as clouds floated past the blooming new moon. He had grown accustomed to wandering here now, remaining close to Keahi and his band of misfit followers out of pure interest alone. They were of a different sort, less pure than the Nereides and not at all like the Starks. They would make a good beginning for his new name.

He paused for a time near the water, large paws sinking into the moist sand, a trail of his progress lingering behind him for some time.

The Tidebreaker remained there for a while, looking over the lapping waves and emptying his mind, ocean-born eyes showing contentment if only for just a moment. Then he heard his voice—his brother—calling after him to catch up. "C'mon Pers, hurry up, the snow isn't coming to us we're going to it!" The large Stark boy smiled and jogged after his brother, running into the water with a chilling start. Back-peddling to drier sand he grumbled, "get out of my head."

Nimue ran down the Witch's Staircase into the decrepit wood, the silver woman unable to look back as she quickly left the haunted forest behind, travelling along the riverbed so the nearby packs would not become aware of her scent. The cool waters kept her levelheaded and calm as she searched for snow, for anything familiar to keep herself hidden and safe.

The Northerner shivered her way onto free territory, the colour of blood stark against her white chin; a sacrifice to her sanity and to their gods. Nimue felt more secure with wolves now between her and them, safe in the knowledge that if she found protection they would not be able to reach her. She knew she was only lying to herself though. They had a piece of her and could find her anywhere, there would be no where safe if she found herself alone. Fighting back panic she pushed on, night slowly turning into day as she made route for the nearby Mountains.

Anywhere familiar, anywhere safe. The harsher climates of a Mountain would set her heart at ease. Where if she could only make it to the top the cold would slow her breath and keep her calm, the snow would bathe her in reassurances and the chill of the wind would lull her to sleep.

She trotted at a quick pace through an expanse of wildflowers; still grey in the dark as the Mountain's still blocked the rising sun, heart set solely for the peaks ahead.
