The black furred wolf trudged around rather nervously, sniffing the air in places before he took steps. He took a quizzical look behind him and carried on, his strides heavy. He wasn't really afraid of anything, no more than he could be afraid of something as childish as monsters, or the dark, but he was still very wary. He was constantly guarding the borders these days, even if wasn't his job. Guarding them against evil, things that could hurt his pack or children. He'd taken too many chances and he swore he wouldn't let anything happen again. Frodo wiped his brow, a tad distressed, but ultimately satisfied that there wasn't anything suspicious going on today. His fur stood on end slightly, ears pressed firmly against his skull and tail swishing in a disturbed state. He'd been in an angry mood, but he knew he had to clear up his attitude by the time he came back to the village. Aranck had told him there was a young pup who needed teaching about hunting, and as one of the only hunters in the pack, Frodo felt that it was his job to help her out.

He was already wearing a shirt, and his cloak, and quiver. His blood-red bow was strung tight around one shoulder, his right arm free and swinging casually by his side. Frodo headed for the Town Hall, which was more or less the center of the happenings and going ons within the pack. Surely he'd be able to spot the pup from there, or the pup would be able to spot him. Frodo wasn't actually too sure if the pup was a pup at all, all he knew was that she was apparently young.

When he arrived at the building, he leaned against the side of it, the stone cold at his back. Crossing his arms against his chest, he scanned the space in front of him with calculating green eyes, wondering who this pup was, as he'd certainly never met her before. He again wondered if he should actually be in optime. Well, if she wanted to learn how to use a bow, he'd be more than happy to teach her, however he would equally be happy to teach her in lupus or even secui. Lupus would be basic, but secui would be a little harder...no matter, he would decide when she approached.

She was already five months old but you would hardly be able to guess that from her appearance. She had only started eating meat a couple of months ago and her stomach had fought against the intake of such nutrition. For the first couple of months of life she had barley survived on the amount of milk she got from her ill mother and she had arrived in Aniwaya by care of a loner male who was unable to feed her. It wasn’t until her Uncle had taken her in, at almost three months of age, that she had started to be fed more regularly. It had been extremely difficult for the young pup to understand why her stomach rejected the meat the first few tries. It was clear to any adult that Gemma’s young pups showed the health Jiya lacked.

It was only recently that she had been able to keep down meals that Aranck brought to her. Now that she was starting to eat more her Uncle had arranged for her to learn how to hunt for herself. She would not be allowed to hunt anything large or join pack hunts as of yet because of her fragile frame but she could certainly chase down rabbits, moles and squirrels. Excited as always to learn something new the red wolf pup made her way in the direction of the Town Hall, where she was meant to meet a dark colored male with green eyes called Frodo.

Her thin legs carried her petite body with ease and she arrived shortly after their arranged meeting time. Her own jade eyes quickly spotted a man that fit the description her Uncle had rushed her off with. "Nihi Frodo?" Her voice was soft, quiet as always. Although her voice pointed towards an anxious and shy pup she held her self confidently.
