Word Count → 317 :: OOC

The odd stone ground was rough against the pads of her feet but Keldava pressed on regardless, trotting down the oddly straight path at a fair speed, head swivelling from side to side as she looked eagerly around the odd place. Keldava had never seen human structures of such size as this before, the only thing even close to it that she remembered was the outskirts of an old human settlement back on Ichika grounds which she had seen once very early on in her life.

This was much better than half remembered memories of buildings half the size though. While there was something somewhat eerie about the hollowed out shells that many o the tall buildings has deteriorated into this sense of unease was far trumped by sheer excitement at walking around somewhere that was not only new, but so obviously different and alien from her home environment. The bright sun hanging in the sky above her had caused a few problems for her when she was travelling and trying to move fast but now she had arrived and was moving slowly she was enjoying the warmth as it soaked into her fur, the human dwellings blocking much less sunlight than trees typically did.

Keldava leaned down to get a drink of water from a puddle at the side of the path, recoiling with a yelp at the bitter taste of the water. Growling suspiciously the adolescent started circling the pool, prodding it with her paw every now and then until she was satisfied that it was just a puddle of bad tasting water and nothing more nefarious.

Wondering how Humans got a drink quickly when they were thirsty with water tasting so bad Keldava moved on, nostrils flared as she walked through the paths, tail wagging fiercely behind her as the young wolfdog did what she loved the most and explored a new place.

Big Grin

The feline had taken time to trod upon his city streets yet again - soft, silent paws padded gracefully over the cobblestone and the asphalt, a flexible black tail waving behind them. Emerald eyes scanned the city's landscape, idly wondering where next to travel.

His thoughts were interrupted by a loud, piercing yelp that sounded not too far from him. His large, cupped ears hurt for a moment before he began to wonder what it had come from - it sounded like a canine, for he didn't know any other creature that made noises as such. Hiding himself in the shadows of the buildings, he moved with the sun, watching carefully for anything that seemed out of place in his stone gray home.

There - a canine it was, and a female, it seemed by the scent of it. Her scent was of many wolves - she was most likely from a pack, he supposed, although he wasn't as discerning of pack scents as canines were. Packs held little to no meaning to him. The female's appearance was startling - jarring colors of amber and dark brown and black combined to make a unique appearance. He stayed in the shadows, although he saw from her wagging tail and jovial expression that she was happy, and was not a threat for now.
