Keldava is in Lupus

The sun felt deliciously warm against the dark fur of Keldava’s back, warming the young wolfdog right through and casting an orange glow through her eyelids. Keldava hadn’t been back in Arte for long; after encountering the odd cat Element she had stayed the night in one of the odd, tall human structure in Halifax before making her way back to arte earlier today.

HNow that she was back home Keldava was taking advantage of the weather. She had found herself a nice soft spot of mossy grass that was in the sun and was resting in it, not quite asleep but certainly not completely awake; any passerby could tell that from her posture, eyes closed, paws tucked up over her muzzle and tail tucked under her belly. Only the occasional twitch or her ears as some sound caught her attention and hr shifting her weight every now and then gave any clue that Keldava was awake at all.

Still despite her current laziness Keldava hadn’t been shirking work today as could be seen by the deer carcass that lay nearby. Keldava had gotten good at hunting the beasts down, using the powerful muscles of her Secui form to out speed them in a short sprint and then using the same forms long, powerful claws to damage their back legs, rendering them an easy kill. Aside from said claw marks and a torn out throat the deer was mostly intact, though one leg was missing with only a few smears of blood on Keldava’s muzzle and a few bones scattered near her nose to hint at its fate. Keldava had eaten her share and would take the prey to share out with whoever she found, most likely her family, later but for now she let it sit in the shade, the mouth watering smell coming from it making her snooze all the more enjoyable.

Skye knew that her condition would limit her ability to shift and do physical activities for long - she wasn't showing yet, but it was a matter of time before she would be, and she couldn't bear to allow the weeks leading up to that moment be stagnant. She wasn't planning on staying in her Lupus form for long, but she wanted to for the moment, to enjoy the activity.

And that was running. Running was exhilarating, exciting - the rough wind coursing through her fur was a sensation that was unmatched to any other sensation. The burn of her muscles as she ran felt like she was on fire; her eyes burned as she raced through the thick, forested territory, wanting to make the most of her limited time with freedom before she had to succumb to the fact that she wasn't alone when by herself anymore.

She felt herself slowing down and realized that she had been running for a longer time than she had realized. As she slowed, so did her senses and she scented a pack member - Keldava. Slowing down more, she caught sight of the female lying next to a deer carcass that she had eaten - she could scent the meat on Keldava's mouth. She padded next to her and sat down.

"Greetings," she said.
