Alex had found himself a nice little peace of paradise outside of the pack. Perhaps he should drag Alaki out here some time to see it. It wasn't actually anything particularly special. A spot besides a lake for him to stretch out and enjoy himself at. The lake was a nice view, but his favorite part was the tree that was nearby, perfect for just chilling and hanging out beneath. With a bottle in one hand and the shade keeping the sun out of his eyes, Alex was in paradise.
Leaning back he took a good deep sip. He wasn't drunk, but he was definitely tipsy. Not that he cared. What could happen? He'd wandered around more intoxicated than this before and come out just fine. Taking a deep swig Alex laid against the ground, looking at the pattern of light through the trees. Idly he imagined what life would have been like if he'd settled on a pretty girl instead of the grumpy samurai he'd chosen. He got about five minutes into the fantasy before the imaginary girl started making demands. Nope, better off with Alaki. No spoiled brat to deal with. Just being immature. Which was fine, since he was just as immature.
