the link is the song & what his voice sounds like <3

The healing process of a broken leg sucked. He couldn't do half the things he really wanted to. Ookami had been left to sit around and play guitar and sing all day. Not that that wasn't fun, but he really wanted to ride his horse, and do some things around the pack. Ookami really wanted to work on getting promoted so that he may be able to actually succed in this pride. He had in Phoenix Valley and in Ichika No Ho-en for some time too. He would make it. And he would be sure to bring his lovely Adonia with him.

Ookami grabbed his crutch and his guitar and notebook and walked to an area where he could be in peace and write his newest song. He had been thinking about it for a while and he needed to get it down on paper and finish the lyrics and chords. He hobbled along until he found a rock in the middle of a peaceful meadow. He lowered himself onto the rock, set his crutch down and opened his notebook.

Large, gold fingers strummed over the strings on his guitar a few times. He cleared his throat and began to play a few notes. "The sun goes down, the stars come out. And all that counts, is here and now. My universe will never be the same. I'm glad you came...." After singing the first part, he set his guitar down and scribbled down in his notebook the next few words he would sing and the notes to go along with it.

It didn't take him long to finish the song, and when he did he tucked the pencil inside his notebook, set it down and took his guitar. Again he strummed the strings before beginning to play. He had called it Glad You Came. The lyrics slipped off his tounge as his fingers played the melody.

When Ookami sung, he got into it, his eyes were closed tight and his voice was projected quite loudly. This is why he went out to other places where he would be in peace. He didn't like bothering others with his music, he didn't know who really wanted to hear it, or didn't want to hear it. He was still singing the song at this point, completely oblivious to his surroundings.

Kiara felt so tired, so frustrated. Her son was alive and with Amy, but she couldn't do anything about it. She had to stay in New Dawn to take care of Lucia. Even though Lucia sometimes referred to Tharin as her father, in reality Kiara and Lucia only had each other. The pack was great, but it wasn't quite family. There were still many members who were unfamiliar to Kiara and she was too busy brooding to introduce herself properly.

The scarred mother had spent most of the morning pacing back and forth restlessly as Lucia chased after her mother's tail. Kiara had managed to keep the worst details away from her daughter, although she was sure that Lucia had at least an idea of what was going on. Kiara sighed and turned her head slightly so that she could see the mixed pup play. Lucia had grown so big in the past four months, so much so that Kiara wondered where her infant had gone off too. A sad smile crossed her lips and she turned to quietly say goodbye to Lucia. Kiara needed to get away and think, even if it was only for an hour or two.

Kiara wandered aimlessly, for how long though she couldn't say. Her mind was wrapped up in the discovery of Kohaku, of her upcoming shifting date. Hate, sorrow, fear, and the overwhelming feeling of helplessness made the arctic mother's heart ache. Soft chords brought Kiara out of her stupor and she stopped as her ears twisted to listen. Without any thought, Kiara sought the music out. The gentle rhythm and pleasant voice drew her in. Moment's later, the arctic wolf stood at the edge of a meadow and watched from afar as a familiar form played the guitar while he perched on a rock.

Ookmai, one of Kiara's former and apparently current pack mates. They had both been part of Ichika together for a short time and Kiara recognized his unforgettable form. The golden giant towered over many luperci and dwarfed the non-shifter. Even so, Kiara didn't approach. She stood at the edge of the meadow, listening with ears pressed forward and not wishing to disturb the male.
