OOC: Sorry for taking a while. I have limited muse when it comes to starting threads. X3 OH, and feast your eyes on beyond angry Revena.

It was that time again, the time where Revena had to scavenge the forest and find a proper meal for a growing woman. She wasn't going to settle for a rabbit or some other small rodent. She was in the mood for a good sized meal. Maybe a fawn...or something larger even. But, she'd have to be diligent if she wanted to catch something of that stature. If only she had another weapon to use aside from her dagger which was only good for finishing off a kill. She wasn't that skilled in the hunt and it would be incredibly lucky if she caught something worthy of her taste. Revena snuck quietly through the trees, dagger in hand and pack over her shoulder, hazel eyes and nose constantly scouting her surroundings for a meal.

A large grin spread across her lips as she caught the scent of an appealing meal. A mother a fawn in the distance caught her attention and she padded off in that direction. Soon, hazel eyes caught sight of them and she lowered herself, preparing to take the leap onto the fawn. Her eyes narrowed in a deathly gaze on the baby animal. Soon, it would be dead and she would be content with a full stomach. Her dagger was drawn and unsheathed, ready to slit the naive animal's throat. When she was sure the mother wouldn't alert her offspring and take off, she pushed off the forest floor with one leg and extended the other in a leap. Her speed wasn't the best, but luckily she'd snuck close enough to them that she didn't have to worry. The momma saw her and turned to run, but the baby hesitated and turned to look at her. She jumped to catch the thing but was so focused on the animal, that she forgot to look where she was running.

The coy-dog took a step and tripped over a rock landing herself in a pile of fresh mud. The baby was running after his mother before she even had the chance to realize what had happened. Revena groaned angrily as she lifted herself up with her front arms, her whole front side covered in the dark brown mud. The usually white fur of front side was now stained an ugly brown. The displeasure was evident in her death stare into the empty forest around her. Slowly, she trudged from the pile and stood there, her body nearly trembling with anger. Growls continually rumbling her chest as she stood there, fur matted with earth. Her fur being dirty was the one thing she couldn't stand. To release her frustrations she yelled into the forest with all she had before returning to her trek through the forest, now to find somewhere to clean up.
