Lethargy
#1
A fit of lethargy had overtaken the Italian in recent months. He found little motivation in anything he did, his paintings were abandoned within minutes and his training was hardly improving his combat skills at all. Alcohol didn't help either. Didn't help at all. He had taken to simply wandering Casa di Cavalieri with little purpose, avoiding interaction and hunting mindlessly. At least he was contributing.

Jazper had noticed, leading to his demotion. He didn't care. Regner was dead, Lorenzo was gone. Casa di Cavalieri wasn't crumbling, far from it, but his lethargic state was pessimistic at best. He was bored. Intensely bored. Easily distracted. He lacked the energy to change his current state.

He needed something big to shake him out of his idle, sluggish stupor. Something that piqued his interest. Something that turned into the charming rogue he so loved being, when he truly felt alive and well. Someone who could kick him out his current state.

Lying on his back in front of the fireplace in the Great Hall, hands behind his head and legs straight out as the fire toasted his left side, it seemed unlikely. Especially since it was close to midnight.

WC: 380 - Neela is in Lupus and is just under one month (half way) pregnant.

Neela’s blurry eyes focused gratefully on a faint glow coming out of the courthouses half open door as she padded through the gate into Kingsbury, glad that some rest for her aching paws was in sight. The collie had made good time heading back from her trip to Arte but it was still at least midnight by the time she finally got back to the court. Despite Neela’s stubborn attempts to get as much time in with her Optime form before her pregnancy forced her into Lupus for the rest of its duration Neela had been forced into her four legged form by exhaustion; the lupine form providing much more support for her swollen stomach.

Neela’s tail wafted gently behind her as she looked around the fort, the trip to see Jace having temporarily dispelled the bad mood that had been hovering over her like a cloud. Her eyes flitted regretfully over her home, standing dark and silent, before moving away. Tony would be asleep by now and with how he seemed to be avoiding her she doubted he would appreciate being woken up by her so instead Neela made her way towards the glow coming from the courthouse.

Thankfully the door was open enough that Neela managed to nose it open enough for her slim – in this direction at least – frame to slip through. The wagging of Neela’s tail intensified as the heat from the fireplace hit her face and she wandered over towards it, not noticing the figure already sprawled in-front of it.

Neela plopped herself down on her side, belly facing towards the flames, and tilted her head back, letting out a content hum as she felt the warmth sink into her neck. A brief flash of colour registered through Neela’s half open eyes and her head jerked as she finally realised she wasn’t alone. Neela remained on her site, laying belly down was pretty much impossible for her right now, but cranes her head up to face the male. She couldn’t quite call him stranger judging by how ingrained into his scent Casa’s own was but she didn’t have a clue who he was either, ”Evening. Sorry, I didn’t notice you, had a long day” she said to him, tail wagging tiredly across the floor.
