Terra watched the canine before her, eyes gleaming brightly. Taking away his prize necklace had been ridiculously easy. A few words, a gesture, and it was in her hands and away she went. Softly her tail flicked behind her, excited as she watched him running mad. She'd lost him a few times, forcing the thief to double back so he could catch sight of her again and continue the chase. Carefree she leaped through, doing her best to avoid going through gaps that were too small for him to follow.

At last she'd reached the place that had been set up. It was a simple trap, a hole that was dug with a giant piece of wood to fall down and seal him inside. Terra hadn't even bothered giving the trap a puzzle exit. Laying low she watched him come closer, and closer. Once trapped the pig would be hers, and she'd have a feast for the night. One to bring back to her pack, and share with her pups. Giggling she waved as he yelled at her, voice piping through the woods.

Loki’s tail wagged wildly behind him at the young pup bumbled through the forest, nose practically glue to the ground and pointed ears looking comically oversized on his small head as they swivelled independently of his head’s movements. He didn’t have a clue what was going on but Mama’s scent was over this way and Mama always made things fun, games and stories and food! Loki’s tail wagged even harder just thinking about it.

Up ahead he could hear voices, though he understood none of it and recognised only Mama’s laughter; she must be playing a game with somebody! Not wanting to miss out on the game Loki bounded forwards eagerly, moving in hopping movements which, when combined with his ears, made him look somewhat like a very odd looking rabbit, but served to get him over the small obstacles that barred his way.

Finally Loki caught sight of Mama. He let out an excited yip in greeting and went running full pelt towards her. He was so focused on not tripping over his own oversized feet that he never noticed the hole in front of Mama until it was too late and he was already falling. He yelped loudly as he landed hard on his rear end and then something fell above him with a slam, throwing wherever he was into darkness. For a moment Loki was quiet, staring into the darkness and trying to figure out what had happened and then he burst out crying.

Terra straightened, seeing her pup come barreling forwards. Loki! What was he doing? A rather furious hybrid ran right behind him, fury blinding his sight. Growling she partly stepped forwards. It was true, she did encourage his mischief. That did not mean that she was happy with him getting involved in this. He was still far too young. Shaking her head Terra growled, a low sound in her throat. Calculating she looked up, wondering how she could fix this.

Thinking about the danger of the hybrid she completely forgot that the trap could be a danger as well until he was trapped inside. Well, that solved that problem. Flashing her teeth she egged the thief forwards. He'd slowed at the sign of the trap, more fury on his face, as well as caution. Was he worried for Loki? His cries pierced her heart, but she couldn't free him until he was safe. She yipped, dangling the necklace down with a smile. Not enough. Frowning she moved right up, touching the hybrid.

No, he was concerned with Loki. Growling now she raked her claws down. That brought him back to her. Smiling again she ran off, blood trailing down his face as he chased after her. A short trip later she doubled back, the male lead off and lost. Now she could secure her pup. Lifting the wood she whined softly, slipping inside. Loki? Was he hurt? Was he okay? Kneeling down she whined, coming over to him and beginning to lick at his small form.
