Fayne had always hoped things would be different when this happened, that it would happena t at a time where there were no worries. But, it was happening, she was pregnant and there was no way to stop it, not that the young woman wanted to. She was happy, happier than she'd ever been before. She had a mate whom was perfect in every way and now, she believed she was pregnant with his children. There wasn't any true way to be sure, but there was one way she could get a second opinion. Deuce. Noah's mother and the most skilled healer of the pack. Fayen knew that if she found Deuce and asked her what she thought that she'd most likely be able to confirm Fayne's suspicions of the subtle changes in her body and behavior.
The metallic wolf seemed to gleam in the sunlight as she rested near the den by the edge of the forest. The sun shined down on her and created a radiant reflection off of her shimmering pelt. It felt nice to simply lay out in the sun, soaking it all up and think about everything that was going on in her life. But, she couldn't truly relax unless she knew for sure that she was pregnant. Fayne raised her head and let out a soft howl calling for Deuce. Hopefully she'd hear and come to speak with the worried Delta. Maybe she could confirm more than her pregnancy, but what her mate might be thinking about her being pregnant with his children. Fayne's tail started to sway at the thought of telling someone about it. Deuce would be the second to know next to Tharin about her pregnancy which would soon start to show. It would be nice to know all she needed to before she got later in her pregnancy as well and she had many question for the white healer.
