Keshi moved with a decent pace over the Sticks and Stones territory of Nova Scotia. Ankh lay in her lay, peering over the edge of the saddle nervously, clinging to the bag he sat in to keep him aboard. Pumpkin eyes, ones still with a hint of blue in them, peered up to the matching pair that his mother possessed. 'Mama?' he questioned, shuffling deeper into the bag. Odessa merely petted the child, 'Don't worry. I won't let you fall'. Delicate grey gloves fingers reached down to pet the snowy boy, eager to comfort him in the absence of his father. Unfortunately, his fur wasn't as thick as Odessa would have wanted, but of course, she loved him all the same.

Dish shaped ears spun towards the sound, obviously unable to make sense of the words clearly. But his mother's touch was reassurance enough and with bright orange eyes he surveyed the scene form the scene from the back of the horse he rode one. The medic smiled, and carried on directing the horse while the pup took his first look at the outside territory.

With all the scrapes and injuries that had been plaguing the pack recently Hadley had run out of aloe vera. Not the best thing in the world to suddenly discover he was out of stock on. Hadley had been doing inventory that morning luckily when he realized it was missing. Grabbing his pack he checked in on Amatha and Isa, pausing for a moment to watch as Amatha wrestled with a stuffy he had found. Smiling he continued on his way, trying to remember where he had heard that aloe vera was located.

He was a fair distance past the pack borders, looking for a more dry open area. If he got there then surely he could locate some aloe vera and bring it back to the pack. He'd be more careful cultivating it this time, making sure that he kept enough to let it grow back so he wouldn't have to do this again. Hearing a horse he looked up, spotting a dainty grey wolf traveling with a young pup in front of her. Lifting his hand he waved politely, a small smile on his face. It would be nice when Amatha was able to start riding. Perhaps he would know how to ride by then.

Remy stopped upon command, planting his heavy, pale hooves on the ground as Odessa dismounted clumsily (trying to keep Ankh safe). Pale hands lifted the pup out of the way as she unloaded the necessaries, items which she would need for her break. The child squirmed, the forced of being held irritating his tiny chest and Odessa set him down gently at her feet. At his age, he would run away. Well, he could try, but his short, stubby legs would make it hard for him to gain any dangerous distance. Luckily, the child sat upon the floor looking a tad perplexed. Golden orange eyes peered up at Odessa and the horse timidly. His small stature (which would surely grow as he aged) made most everything daunting to stare up at. This horse no less.

His mother made his less fearful though, the young woman was never harsh to him. And he was her only as a provider or love and comfort. There was another too, a man Ankh understood to be his father. He was still unsure, and this was due to the man's trio away, but the child was growing bonds with him everyday.

Older orange eyes spotted a man, and a voice rose up to greet. 'Hello'

He was startled when the horse came to a halt. He hadn't meant to hail the woman. Looking around he wondered if maybe he was mistaken. Nervously he watched the small wolf let her son sit down at her feet, staring adorably up at the horse. It was a cute sight. Thinking to Amatha he wondered if he should start introducing her to the horses. Or perhaps she was still too young. They could easily trample her underfoot after all.

The wolf seemed to spot him later. So she hadn't halted for him after all. What a relief! Changing direction he came near them, stopping a good distance away. He didn't want her to think that he would harm her pup. He was rather large after all. His tail swung low, smiling shyly. Hi. Your son is very cute. Cute? What was he saying? He probably sounded like a complete moron. Or a creep. Either was not what he'd wanted.

sorry for it being really really short ;-;

Odessa smiled at the male as he spoke of Hadley, 'Thanks'. Orange eyes scanned the scenery, looking for any herbs she could find. She would ask Hadley in a moment of course, because having seen nothing from her side, hopefully he could see some. 'Sorry to just be random but, have you seen any herbs on your way here?' Her stock was running low, and with her son it was hard to do any lengthy searching because he'd get tired or bored. Or it would be too dangerous for him to follow, or stay alone.

Ankh looked questioningly at the man, his tail flickering steadily in a mix of curiosity and fear. But he was a smart, and wholly obedient boy and so kept to his mothers side, soon turning his attention to the floor. Pawing at the dirt. He looked up every so often, but for now seemed content enough to do his own 'gardening' including chewing on the softy dewy grass while his mother conversed.

The conversation was a bit hard to keep up, thinking about the aloe vera that he needed to track down and hoping that he was being properly polite. It got a little difficult, thinking about all of that. He did like the pair. The small silvery female was very pretty, with the air of someone who was almost royalty. Her pup didn't express any of that, just happy to be digging in the ground and chewing on the grass that was there with all the joy of a normal pup.

Asked suddenly about herbs Hadley flinched a little. He wasn't used to discussing such things. The scarred male did know plenty about herbs, and had seen a fair amount on his trek here. He just wasn't sure how to talk about it. There's some mint back there...and sage... Vaguely he gestured the way that he came, hoping that his words were enough. I was just heading out to find some aloe vera to replenish my supplies. At least that came out without wavering.
