She tripped over a branch and rolled until she hit a rock. That was almost fun! Except for the hitting the rock part. She got herself back on her feet, and continued to the pond she'd be there in a few short minutes. Of course that felt like an eternity sometimes. Finally she reached the pond and placed her rag doll near the bank. She put her head on the rag doll, and just observed the water. It was so calming. It was like she could stare at the reflective pool for hours and hours on end. She yawned tiredly. The journey to the pond had made her sleepy.

Lucia was very pleased with herself. She had braved leaving the den on her own and was heading to the nearby pond with her rag doll stuffed in her mouth. She had been adventitious but tentative. She did not to travel too far from the den so the pond seemed the perfect compromise. She loved going out of the den and seeing what was out there. There was so much of the world she hadn't seen yet so she made it her goal to broaden her grasp of the world at least once a week preferably more if she could manage.

OOC / +000 Kiara had been out on the boarder patrolling. It wasn't really her job, but she just had to do something. Whenever Kiara felt restless she would travel along the boarders of New Dawn, running and training her body as she watched for intruders. With Tharin still recovering from his injuries, Kiara felt like it was her obligation to help at least a little bit. The snowy female was no fighter, but she could run and howl if anything happened. With her simple rounds completed, the young mother decided to return to the den. It was then that Kiara spotted her daughter as she rolled into a rock. White ears strained forward as Kiara tried to spot any injuries from the distance. Luckily, the pup got up quickly and moved without any signs of injury. Kiara let out a quiet sigh before ducking into the bushes. She moved with a hunter's grace, each step as silent as an owl's wing beat. The female positioned herself upwind of Lucia and waited with gleaming sapphire eyes. At last, the pup settled down near a pond and stared at the water. A tired yawn came from Lucia and made Kaira rethink her decision. However, the day was cooler than before and Kiara was in a playful mood. Closer and closer the arctic wolf moved, until she was within a good sprinting distance. Bunching her shoulders Kiara shot out of the bushes with a loud howl, ready to try and tackle her daughter. A huge grin was on her face, and she slowed just enough to prevent injury if she did manage to catch Lucia. Word Count :: 000 OOC Lucia was begininng to fall asleep. The walk with her rag doll. the heat, and the fact that it was a tad pass her nap time meant Lucia was nodding more then a head banger at a rock concert. The warmth of the sun against her fur felt wonderful it was like she was enveloped by a warm blanket. It was like she was sleeping nestled against her mother. She couldn't be more comfortable if she tried. The brief sound of something in the distance caught her attention. She kept alert for a moment, but when nothing happened she just went back to relaxing. <style type="text/css"> .character-Luciatablemist b {font-weight:bold; color:#4B0082; letter-spacing:1px; } .character-Luciatablemist .ooc {font-style:italic; padding:0px; font-family:verdana, sans-serif; font-size:11px;} .character-Luciatablemist p {text-indent:25px; padding:5px 10px; margin:0px;} .character-Luciatablemist {margin:0px auto; width:466px; background-color:#7189a1; background-image:url(http://i.imgur.com/oMUiO.png); background-position:top center; background-repeat:no-repeat; border:1px solid #000000; padding: 330px 0px 10px 0px; font-family: georgia, sans-serif; font-size:12px; color:#000000; line-height:16px; letter-spacing:.5px; text-align:justify;} </style> [/html]

OOC / +000 For a brief moment, it seemed as if the alabaster pup had noticed Kiara's presence. Her smaller body tensed and her ears flicked as she listened and waited. Kiara froze, paused in mid step as the huntress waited for her quarry to settle down. It wasn't long before Lucia went back to nodding off, her small frame relaxing as her breaths began to slow. Sleep had taken hold of the pup and was slowly dragging her under. Kiara would see to it that her daughter wasn't there for long. With a mighty burst of speed and a great howl, Kiara emerged from the bushes. She landed next to her daughter, muscles bunched and ready for anything. The pup jumped high into the air as she was awoken by the loud onslaught. Suddenly, Lucia was careening backwords and landed back first into the water with a clamorous splash. Kiara began to laugh as Lucia doggy paddled to show looking quite put off. Her sapphire eyes blazed until they filled with recognition. Kiara could almost see the pups thoughts, which were pobably along the lines of "only my mother." Lucia stuck her tongue out defiantly and began to splash in the water. A few of the waves came up and caught Kiara, but most fell shy of their target. Water clung to the arctic female's summer coat and she quickly shook the droplets off. Her tail wagged gaily in the air as Lucia rose out of the water. Kiara waited patiently on the banks as Lucia shook herself dry. A content smile stretched across the mother's face as she remembered the times when Lucia was much smaller. Her daughter had grown so big, and would someday become a beautiful wolf. The young female would break the hearts of many males, but until then she belonged solely to Kaira. Once semi-dry, the pup's fur puffed out like a squirrel tail. Lucia's accents of red and grey became more prominent and she closely resembled the little hairball of pup that she once was. Kiara gave another laugh and let out a playful growl as Lucia tried to topple her mother into the water. Lucia had grown large and although she had yet to reach her adult size, the pup was not as easy to push around. Kiara brought one of her front paws up, intending to push Lucia down a bit so that it would be easier to grab onto the scruff of her neck. Kiara's tail continued to wag as she wrestled loudly with Lucia, but soon the pups antics won and Kiara toppled into the water.
