Neela

Paw paws stepped upon the pack ground; she had just spent the night in her party house in Halifax, smoking. This had taken away the scent of the Casa di Cavalieri upon her pretty red coat. However the female felt more relaxed since she had joined her father wonderful pack. She had been stressing and worrying over whether or not she was act how a Princess and a believer of her own person believe. It was a mixture of her father’s and her own. The child wanted to be the best she could be, but she did not believe that she would be a star in her next life, resting in the sky to protecting the Sun.

The female was now carried a long stick with her, that she wished to learn how to use as a weapon, she did not want any of the confounded swords. They were important with the family history the female understood, however she wasn’t a male and no sword would be passed to her, so she would yield a staff. The staff was about the height of her shoulder, and it was the width of one of the swords hilt. The female felt a bond to the staff once she started to use it. She just hoped that her brother would help her train with this staff as her weapon, and not a sword.

Neela had firmly decided that she could hardly wait for her pregnancy to be over. In the initial days it hadn’t been so bad, she still had use of her Optime form and could do pretty much anything she normally did, albeit slower. Then when she first shifted to Lupus for the last time she had still kept some mobility; her stomach was big but a manageable size then.

Now, just under two weeks before she should be giving birth, Neela was well and truly fed up of the whole thing. Her stomach was almost as thick as her torso again and she couldn’t move at anything more than a slow trot over flat terrain without bouncing it over the ground, leaving her limited to the fort and a very few flat paths through the forest. She had taken recently to pacing around the fort restlessly, her eyes occasionally straying to the river and the delicious but out of reach fish. It seemed that many had taken cue from her bad mood to avoid her, or were otherwise occupied, as Neela had had little company recently.

Neela was just about to head over to the fort and see if she could snag another blanket or pillow for the burrow she had been building in her house when she came across an odd smell; clearly another of the knight siblings by the start of it, but this one seemed to be female! Neela hadn’t been aware that Tony had any sisters, or at least any that lived in Casa. Curiously she set off after the smell.

As she got closer the smell, and the situation, became more clear. The girl was obviously a member of Tony’s family but while his family scent was strong the Casa scent – that mixture of salt and must, iron, blood and stone that clung to those who lived within the fort – was weak, signifying that the girl she was tracking was newly arrived in Kingsbury.

Neela’s tail began to wag as she came up behind the new arrival. The girl – though looking by her she looked to be much older than Tony, possibly from Aro’s litter at a guess, so woman seemed more appropriate even if she was younger than Neela – was a cool orange colour and while she wasn’t quite as big as her brothers she still stood a good foot over Neela’s own Optime form. Neela eyes the staff that the taller woman held in her hand curiously before letting out a bark, announcing her presence if the woman hadn’t already noticed her.
