Slowly she was recovering. Dalgina didn't bear the wounds her siblings held, something she truly felt guilty for. They had all been hurt, and she couldn't fix it, and she didn't share their pain. The nightmares were starting to fade, and Dalgina's paintings no longer relied so heavily on the darker colors that she had. Moving out to the forest Dalgina walked with Ovi, Tehu flying ahead. The chatter was light, going back and forth over what they were planning. Neither of them spoke of what happened. No one did. Not her, not her siblings, not Taru. Just something unspoken.

Reaching a stream Dalgina dipped her feet in, letting the coolness wash over her dainty paws. Ovi leaped in with a splash, sending a wave towards her. Hey! The large tiger turned around guiltily. Sorry Gina. Pulling a face she splashed some water at him. The tiger let out a roar, and came back, playfully pushing at her. It wasn't rough play, being gentle as she was pulled into the water, fighting back as they both rolled around.

Aylu didn't understand why Sarian was being so moody. She had become super grouchy and one moment she was cheerful the next she was crying and sobbing. This had been going on for the past two days and Aylu needed a break from the young woman. So while she was sleeping he slipped away with his sketchbook and charcoal and went to the flower fields that held so much of his calm and peace. He needed to talk to Skye about his guardianship but hoped she would understand that he didn't know if he wanted to be who he thought he was.

He was so wrapped up in his thoughts that at first he thought he was hearing things. Cilantro swooped down and landed on his shoulder, whispering in low speech that Dalgina was close by. Aylu howled for the girl. It had been a long time since he last heard from her. He had been so disconnected from the pack. He had no idea what was going on and how everyone was doing. Maybe Dalgina could fill him in

A loud howl sent Dalgina flinching. Ovi raised his head, large ears swiveled forwards. Who was looking for her? The young wolf's heart beat rapidly, thoughts of being taken by the monsters plaguing her nightmares filling her mind. Focusing she realized it was Aylu. She hadn't seen him in some time. She hadn't really seen anyone outside of her siblings and Taru's family for some time. She didn't really want to either. What if they hurt her?

The tiger left the water, looking to Dalgina with some concern. Gina? Are you alright? Shivering she nodded her head, and slipped out. One hand resting on his body she slowly walked forwards, hoping that Aylu hadn't changed. That he was still trustworthy. That he wouldn't become part of her nightmares. At the edge of the woods she peered out, watching Aylu walk forwards. Should she call out to him? Or just wait for him to notice her?

"I can smell your fear Dalgina. You have no reason to fear me. I am still the same man that saved you from the cold all those months ago," he whispered to the girl. Something was wrong. He could feel it. Dalgina was never afraid of him. She was always so happy amd joyful and now she feared him. It bothered him. "What happened Dalgina? Who hurt you?" he asked softly as Cilantro chirped in his ear about Jace and something she had done. He was so out of the loop and it hurt him to know that Dalgina was hurt and frightened.

"Have you been practicing your reading and writing? I know I haven't been around lately. I have been.... out of touch," he said and looked down. He should have protected her better. It was his job to protect... Right? "Please... come talk to me Dalgina," he begged.

His words were soft, just a whisper over where she stood with the tiger. Her small frame was almost dwarfed by Ovi's presence, just barely there, clinging to safety. Her ears flattened, not liking that her fear was so easy to pick out. Dalgina remembered that rescue. She had been so bitterly cold, and she had hurt so much. Aylu's warm body had helped with that, cheering her up immensely. Reaching a hand she touched the simple necklace he'd given her, still wearing it despite the much fancier ones she now owned.

Who hurt her? Dalgina's eyes grew dark. No one had touched her. The world had fallen apart, and she didn't have a single injury. Her siblings had bled against the ground, yet nothing was wrong with her. Sharp betrayal came back to her, body shaking. Reading? Writing? Who had time for that when the world she'd trusted in was gone? Dalgina had survived moving before, survived harsh changes, but this was different. Ovi nudged her forwards, not letting her stay back. Exposed she walked forwards a little, still shivering.
