The dark she-wolf held her companion's reigns loosely, gently tugging him along to the water. She occasionally looked over her shoulder at the horse, hearing him snort, but mainly kept her focus on the lake before her. As they came close to the shore, Vlad stopped Dmitrii near the shore line, close enough where he could get a drink. The Clydesdale in turn dipped his head to the water, which was sparkling brightly from the sun's rays. The Russian woman patted the horse's flank before taking a few steps away, her sea green eyes looking around with interest. She hasn't visited Rabbit Lake before, and the place had her curiosity piqued. Surrounding the body of water were gently rolling hills, a few trees littering them, and only a few types of vegetation were growing around the lake. To the south of it, though, she could see denser woodlands, but she couldn't really figure out why this was so. She dropped the subject soon after, and instead decided to just enjoy the beauty of it.
Vladislava's pink paws rested on one of the daggers in her belt, and she felt a frown tug at her muzzle. Though she had these weapons at her convenience, her skills with them were only average. She wished she had gone through more lessons with her blades back in Moscow. Her hand soon slid off the sheath of the knife and instead her arms wrapped around her stomach.
"Хм..." Her eyes wandered back to Dmitrii, blinking. The horse was still lapping up water with his tongue, tail swishing, and the Russian girl shook her head with a grin. "It is that good, не так ли?" she questioned him, bending down to one knee near the water. She cupped some of the clear liquid in her palms, and sipped some of it. "Hmm... Perhaps it is," she muttered, letting the rest of the water drip back into the lake before rising to two feet again. She rested one hand on Dmitrii's neck and the other on her hip as she stared out at the water, feeling more or less hopeful about how the day was going to turn out.
