Sascha had been taken the bird out on test runs to see if his wing would hold. The osprey wouldn't stay long in the air or fly too high, perhaps it wasn't confident in it yet. Either way, Sascha was patient and secretly wanted the bird to take its time so that he had him longer. Sas' attempt to not get attached to the nameless animal failed much to his displeasure. He would miss the bird of prey if it had chose to leave and because it was quiet, much like himself, he wasn't sure if the bird even liked him. But he still had him and that was all that mattered for the moment. Long legs carried him to Hades Beach for no reason; it was what Sascha began to do as often as he could. If he wasn't on official "business" he would wander now that he was forcing himself out of his room more. It wasn't going as well and as much as he had planned but no one said change was fast or easy and it certainly wasn't in his case. He swore he would better himself but he was his own worst enemy and the fear of failing was strong inside. Maybe his third....fourth...whichever attempt would be his last; just maybe he would be a decent member of Inferni...a decent friend...a decent lover. He never expected to think about being a lover but his life had changed recently, hopefully for the better.

The ground was unforgiving to his feet and even so he pushed on, not allowing it to deter him. Perhaps it was his stubborn side or curiosity, who knew? He hadn't been in the area before but had seen it through passing from afar. Today, he had decided, he would venture the land and learn more about the clan's home. Blitzen walked behind he could tell he didn't like the terrain by the sound of his footsteps; he was struggling a bit and Sascha would look over his shoulder at him at times to make sure he was alright. Paws stopped at the water line, blowing raspberries as he pondered whether he should continue or not. He wasn't quite sure how deep the water got and despite how calm it looked it still didn't convince him it was safe. Blitzen had stopped beside him and the boy placed his hand on his side to give him a pet though his ruby eyes never left the watery view.
