Four paws swiftly paced across the well marked borders of Salsola in such a confident manner that left no doubt that he was a part of the pack. Physically, his body was quite exhausted at this point, but he was at his journey’s end now, and would soon allow his body to get some rest at last. A few days had been spent outside the pack’s well guarded borders, and he had skipped sleep and refrained from meals during his trip. He believed in being effective once he had purpose, and had finished his business as quickly as he could. His body would mend once he was back, and he hadn’t paid much attention to his physical discomfort. It was temporary and harmless in the long run, and so he didn’t worry about pushing certain limits.

His mind was richer than it had been a few days ago, and he was most willing to ensure he would take the extra steps it required to share such useful information. Salsola had certainly grown on the pale golden Lykoi since he had participated in its funding, and his current living situation with China seemed to make him willing to work harder to improve their lives here. Happiness would always be relative, but the male knew with certainty that he had never found life to taste so sweet in the past. It was a lovely feeling for the man that did not feel. Unfortunately, this state of his was temporary, and he was too aware of this. He would accept everything life had to throw at him, and was careful to fully appreciate all that he had in the present.

The Confidant’s pace led him deeper into his pack’s heart, towards the ruins and the home of Salsola’s lonely Queen. He knew the location well because he’d visited Pandemic more than once, and knew that the two siblings shared their home. He had no way of knowing if Salvia was available at the moment, but he preferred sharing news while they were still fresh. Blackened wings flashed by with a rusty call of welcome, and his dedicated crow’s dull claws dug onto thick pelt between his shoulder blades. The crow seemed to enjoy hitchhiking as his Master attended to matters outside the home, and Itachi quite enjoyed the bird’s quiet company. The male thought more crows would be sent out and away from Salsola’s borders soon, but that was a decision that would rest in the hands of Salvia.

The news would definitely be of interest Of this, he was certain.
