Optime form. If he’s talking to Buddy it would basically sound like he’s talking to himself though he’s focusing on something/seeing something with his own eyes. Thread will eventually contain sexual content. :: 4+

Does eat oats and mares eat oats and little lambs eat ivy....a kid’ll eat ivy too wouldn’t you? Heiro let out a long drawn out sigh, casting a sidelong glance at Buddy. Seriously? It’s been like this all afternoon, he grumbled. Don’t you think its time to quit? The hybrid asked, continuing to walk along with this ethereal friend trailing along. You’ve scared away anything worth lunch with your blasted singing....how about some peace and quiet? He suggested, but Buddy only pitched his voice higher and launched into another child’s rhyme. Mary had a little lamb, little lamb? Little lamb. Mary had a little lamb its fleece was white as-- Shut it Buddy, we’re here! The black and white wolf dog sprinted forward as soon as his cerulean eyes captured the lake.

Sprinting forward on two athletic legs, the youth let out a jovial cry as he pounded across the sand, down the beach, and dove head first into the still waters of Rabbit Lake. A few geese honked indignantly before taking off from the sudden change in environment, but Heiro was unawares as he swam about the cool waters. Soon this place would be unswimmable with the changing of seasons, but today was unusually warm. Resurfacing and brushing his jet black hair out of his eyes, he stared back at the beach where Buddy remained, defiant and obviously not entertained. Aww come on Buddy, it feels great! You know I can’t swim! He cried back indignantly, strange...Heiro had never seen him go from hot to cold so quickly.

Hmph...suit yourself, Heiro said before diving under once more. He actually didn’t know Buddy couldn’t swim but then again...maybe spirit guides couldn’t? Perhaps water did something to them? He’d have to ask later, but right now he was just content with the water in his ears over Buddy’s singing. That lasted about five minutes. He started feeling bad for leaving the white wolf on the shore. Swimming back to the beach and flopping playfully in the sand next to the emerald eyed creature, Heiro spoke in a soft tone. I’m sorry Buddy...I didn’t realize you couldn’t...well...swim, he shrugged, sitting back to lean on his elbows and look over the lake. There’s a lot of things we spirits can’t do, Buddy replied, and his voice sounded happier now, his joy had returned now that Heiro was back. Yeah? Well...now what to do for lunch? Heiro asked absentmindedly. The day was just beginning.
