My life's work, ruined.

Alright, kids! Time to get to work! The clinic is a two-story building built high into an Oak Tree. There's a ramp leading up to the first floor, though it's reduced to two supporting boards which are just wide enough to cross. The floor is mostly intact, with some boards upturned or broken. The walls are mostly intact, save for the North wall, which has a pine tree through it- we'll have to move that out before we can get any real work done. The main doorway is reduced to half it's width, having fallen in on itself. The doors are missing entirely. All windows are broken, so there's plenty of glass around to watch out for. To add to this mess, most of the second floor is water damaged, since the roof was taken clean off of the building during the hurricane. Medical supplies are thrown everywhere, though none of them are safe to use anymore.

Dated for the first. Sky's in lupus form, for now.

The storm was finally over. Finally. The pack had left the high caves in order to explore their damaged home. Sky had stayed back to help her packmates file out safely but as soon as she was sure they were alright, she headed straight for the one place she dreaded to see- The clinic. As she made the trek to the old oak tree, her chest clenched with fear and anticipation. Had it survived?

The answer was an astounding no. Upon reaching the glade surrounding the clinic, she saw just how badly it had suffered. The roof had been torn clean off, the ramp leading up to the main entrance had been torn apart and the building itself was in shambles. The main supports for the structure promised safety so long as one was careful, but she could already tell that months of hard work and dedication had been destroyed, all in one night. One storm.

With a high-pitched whine, she stepped forward, carefully creeping along the supporting boards of the torn up ramp, careful not to slip. She creeped around fallen wood and lumber, tip-toeing through broken glass and shredded metal and carefully eased her way inside through the half-fallen doorway that had once sported double doors, now an awkward looking pile of rubble. The floor was intact, mostly, so she stepped lightly through the place, depressed with what little she could find to salvage. All this work... gone. Overnight. How would she repair it? Could she repair it? One could only hope.

So she turned away from the place and headed back to the porch of it, sitting down and sighing heavily. Maybe... just maybe... her pack would help her. Maybe... it wasn't all lost. So, in that tiny window of hope, she lifted her head and howled, calling any who cared to help her with her task. The damage wasn't as bad as it looked, really- mostly exterior damage but the inside still stood relatively well, if you could ignore the tall pine which had fallen into the North wall, now cemented into the oak tree itself in the center. Could be worse, though. As her howl faded, she'd sit there, watching, waiting, hoping.

Noah knew Fayne was due any day, and with that thought in mind Noah knew that he would have to make sure that he pack lands were all in working order so that he could relax and be with Fayne and the pups once the time came. Granted he never really gotten Sky’s clearing to help the pack on his mended leg, the leg that she had taken the time in fixing and making sure that her craft was being performed to the max of her abilities. These were skills that Noah could one day only dream he would have, but what bothered him the most…his mother had gone missing during this whole storm mess. The male had been out of the pack den hunting for a trace of her, a paw print, a sent or even as sick as it sounded…a dead body (not really what he wanted, but he had to be ready to see the worst of the worst)
With his nose to the ground the male moved through the pack lands, very slowly hoping to find something that would key into what happened to his snowy coated mother. Not only was the elder lady his mother, but she was a teacher to him, and she was going to be a grandmother any day and wanted her to see her grandchildren be born alive, and healthy( He hoped and prayed on the last part with all the death that seemed to have pledged the lands when it came to pups)

The silver monster sister in law called for help, (No matter what happened with the snowy brother Sky would always be apart of the Sawtooth family.) The male knew she was around the medic tree house, the one human like thing that she built in order to help the pack. Noah was proud of her, she was fitting in quite well after her breakup with his brother. THe silver male worried that New Dawn was too much of a change for her. Though she never should have been underestimated, she was going to join the ranks of healers in no time at this rate.

Three legs pushed him as fast as they could move, the male came to the side of the Rhiannon’s lady, his slowed down, as he felt his heart drop. One single storm had raved most of the tree house, which she had been working so hard on. ”Well no use sitting around, let’s get to work.” The tripod monster looked to the pack sister. If no one else came they would still get all of the work done that was needed.

Tali didn't like it. The irony of nature destroying its own beauty disturbed her. But she'd do what she could to help clean up her home. Her feet pattered quickly through the still wet grass, and she caught the scent of the moist brown leaves on the autumn ground. She sighed, her least favourite season was now even worse.

She didn't stop long to look at the damage through the forest, her main concern were the nature hot spots like the flower field or lake. As she ventured further in, she spotted a dark coloured surface lying flat on the ground; she hurried closer to inspect it. It was a rough surface, probably made of some sort of rough material like twigs or long dry grass. It covered a large part of the area, with parts broken off and scattered. It confused Tali; she didn't know where it had come from. She lowered her head and grabbed a small piece in her mouth before she heard a howl.

The sound was close, and Tali immediately got up and ran towards its direction. Soon she came to a ruined hut. It was tall, but lacked a roof, and was barely recognisable as a hut. Tali spotted two wolves on the other side, and quickly trotted over to them.
"What's happened?" She asked and dropped the dark material as she spoke, "Is there anything I can help with?"

Tharin wandered through the pack, examining the damage. The forest had suffered casualties, great trees felled. He found a couple corpses from prey that hadn't managed to escape the storm, and even came across a dead coyote that must have crossed into the territory during the worst of the storm. He nosed that one aside, leaving it be and wondering whether or not he should mention it or let the forest reclaim it. It was unlikely the borders had been noticeable with the storm that had whipped up.

Seeing one of his newer pack mates Tharin trotted over, nuzzling softly against her. His form was proud, looking over the others that had shown up. This used to be the location of that strange building Sky had made. It had been destroyed by the storm as well. We'll have to clear the debris away. That would be the first part. Telling what was actually debris and what was part of the building would be the more difficult part. It was all scattered branches after all. Refusing to give in he grabbed a loose section and began to drag it away to clear the area.

She came out from hiding, her eyes looked around the pack. Trees were knocked down or broken, but some still stood. Overall, the pack lands looked wrecked. She walked through the land in awe. Her Optime form carrying her lightly through the pack. Adonia caught scent of a large gathering and brought herself to them curious what had caused the gathering. Her eyes caught sight of a broken structure. I had been planted into an oak tree which made her realize it hadn't been a human structure. This had to have been the clinic she heard about. She stood upright, her eyes looked over them all as she wondered how she could help. She could carry too much, but perhaps she could move the smaller debris out of the way so Sky and the others could rebuild. Surely she could be useful in the rebuild too, maybe do some hammering.

Without word she began to help picking up twigs and small branches. She wasn't sure how the others felt about her, but she wouldn't let that stop her from helping the pack. She glanced to Tharin. She hadn't hung out with him in a long time and she sort of missed the male. Giving him a soft smile her tail wagged. "...hello Tharin.." She smiled more and continued to help clear the debris away.

Anyone else wishing to join in and help, can. Smile

Noah came first. Somehow, she expected that. His lack of beating around the bush was comforting and as he came to stand beside her, she pushed against him in gratitude and relief. "It's a lot of damage." She sighed softly, looking up at the ruined building with sad eyes. Still, he was willing to help, and apparently, he wasn't the only one. She craned her head around when another voice joined them, one she didn't know well. This was Tali, right? One of the newer members. She flicked her tail in greeting to the girl and smiled despite her heartbreak.

"There's a lot of work to do. Every bit of help is appreciated, sister." She purred, glad to have help from those who didn't even know her well. Next, Tharin came. It was surprising to see the male show up, after all that had happened between them. He quickly went to work, without any hesitation and she sighed. Their rivalry would have to be put on the back-burner for now. She was grateful for his help.

She stood and, as she did, Adonia showed up. She didn't even speak as she went straight to work. For a moment, Sky was confused. She'd never asked anything of the girl before and Tharin didn't like her, right? She looked to Noah with that confusion and surprise, though it was a delighted change of luck. She grinned, looking back to her packmates and waving her tail. "Thank you. It'll be hard work... but together, we can fix this." As she said this, Shawchert seemed to emerge from the brush behind her and when she turned to greet him, he bent to brush noses before heading straight to work, hauling the heavier stuff. Sky watched on for a moment longer before shifting into her optime form to do the same. "Noah, could you help me fix the ramp? We'll need it fixed before we can clean out the inside." She turned to her friend, hoping he'd help. The others could easily handle the outside.
