set near the mansion.

It was early morning, but she had been awake for a couple of hours. This would be her first day alone with the pups, where Iskata or Deuce wasn't there helping her out. She was a little nervous about it, but at the same time she felt a certain hint of anticipation. She felt like she was taking the first step of a long, long journey...a long and exciting one.

She had shifted to clean up after them a bit, and hadn't thought to shift back down yet. She would probably go back to her four legged form when it was time for them to eat again. Naniko was feeling a little hungry, and she hadn't been able to hunt in the last few weeks of her pregnancy. A hunt sounded perfect. The female felt a little bit sore, but well enough to at least go out on a run...even if she didn't catch anything.

Haha, what better than a hunter?

Khaden was back at that damnable mansion again. It seemed to so haunted now, even moreso than Esper Hollow that gave that sort of eerie lightness to that forest. No instead, the building seemed empty, abandoned, lifeless of spirit and a void of hospitality. The Aatte boy, in his signature secui form, had meandered from his new home to find himself back at this place, back where it seemed to have all started this tumultuous experience through Twilight Vale and Conri Church.

Poking through the first barrier of the door, he peered inside cautiously, feeling all too weird going through the mansion again. It didn't feel that long ago since he had graced the halls of what had been claimed as Twilight Vale's, but nonetheless, picking listlessly through the entrance of the shelter. It was really only then when Khaden finally figured that these interesting scents of Naniko and other wolves could not have lingered this long, almost weeks after the disbanding of the previous pack.

Brows furrowed as he cocked his head this way and that, placing his nose to the ground before looking up to the second level and back to the further reaches of the house, he called out with questioningly. "Hello?"

xD true!!

Crimson Dreams had become established a week or so before, but she was sure that the borders weren't well marked yet. She had been busy with all that was happening with the pups. Maybe Savina had been doing it? She wasn't sure. The Commander's ears perked when she heard something from the other room. She had mostly been spending her time in the closet that lead off the kitchen on the first floor, the place where she'd chosen to have the pups.

She wasn't sure who was out in the living room, and her fur fluffed up a little as she stepped quietly toward the door the led from the kitchen, unsure whether whoever was out there was a threat. Normally there was a wolf guarding the door to the kitchen, but maybe they were outside. "Hello?" She called in return. Maybe if she could get them to come into the kitchen, she could sneak attack them.

He could hear his voice echo slightly through the dampening house, and snuffled a bit at it's response. Picking his way through the foyer and into the house, he then heard the reply. Light, feminine and familiar. With a cocked head and furrowed brows, Khaden pushed his way towards the direction of the voice, towards the kitchen. He knew that voice, and it took a bit to recognize it but soon enough the name appeared in his head and on his lips. "Naniko?" He called blindly, unsure if it was a hit or a miss.

He trotted his way into the kitchen, his secui form brushing warily against the walls as he went, peering in to find, if he could, the source of his voice that sounded so much like his... ex-sister-in-law? "It's me, Khaden." He voiced, a little bit uncertain now that he continually closed in onto the space.

She felt silly for not having recognized his voice before. "oh! Hey, Khaden!" Naniko was excited to see the male again. She had been dissapointed to hear that he wouldn't be joining them in Crimson Dreams, but at the same time she could understand. She'd been that age before, felt that urge to roam. And she had definitely roamed.

The girl approached him, tail waving behind her in a friendly manner. "How are you, little brother?" Naniko nudged his side, the only place that she could reach.
