She'd come back home, though she wasn't certain if it really felt like home yet. She hadn't given Haku a chance to explain himself but she wasn't certain if she wanted to hear what he had to say. She'd seen the look in the young girl's eyes and she knew Haku was the only one who was dangerous enough to go that far. She'd avoided DaVinci and her mother since departing Phoenix Valley, she hadn't even really made much attempt to speak with her sister Magdalena either. She knew she was just being stubborn and difficult but at this point she just wanted to forget it all and start again.

She'd picked up where she'd left off, exploring the packlands once more and settling back into the small cottage on the outskirts of the vineyards. It had belonged to the gardener of sorts from the items she found in the building but now it was hers. She spent a lot of her time just curled up in the old musty smelling bed and staring at the walls, what more was there... Her mind rolled through a hundred thoughts and didn't touch a one in those times when she was alone watching the shadows on the wall. In time she knew she'd come back around and the world would be whole.

Today though she'd taken the energy to step out into the real world and face the day. She sat on the front stoop of the cottage and stared at the wild vineyard in the fields beyond. There really wasn't anything she wanted but to see Haku and yet she knew what would happen if she did.. but something inside still ached to see the leader.. even if it was just painful thinking about at the moment. Perhaps she was just thatway, needing to bring pain to her world in order to be happy in the end.

Crappy post, sorry. Muse gone poof. =\

Alexey was on her way to her best friend's house when she caught sight of the teenager's familiar silhouette. She had a lot of explaining to do regarding her recent altercation with a coy femme from Inferni. Kol was first on the list, since she'd been the one to bail her out of trouble once again. Stormbringer had put her own life in danger several times and nearly lost an eye doing so to insure Lexey's safety. Truth be told, the Circee saw Kol as her guardian angel.

For a fleeting moment, she had considered turning around and avoiding Firefly. The Koios femme was glad to see the yearling hanging around the packlands nowadays, but she didn't want to explain where and why she had gotten those new cuts and bruises. Curiosity kept her from walking away though, she wanted to know more about the two-toned female's pregnancy and well-being.

Once close enough, Alexey sat a few feet away from where the teenager was standing. "Look who's home," she offered, hoping to spark a conversation with the other girl.

Firefly had been sitting there as pretty as a picture and yet she didn't feel it. She didn't feel like the young woman she use to, there was a hollow place inside her, not even the darkness and danger she craved mattered anymore. She had been so absorbed in her fleeting thoughts that she didn't even notice when the tawny woman had appeared within her eyesight. Normally the girl would have caught that scent and been on her feet to greet the gold eyed lass but not today, only the words that rang out caught at the edges of her mind and caused her to raise those emerald eyes to stare at her packmate that had coming searching for her with her steele hued strange brother.

She shook her head once to clear the thoughts as she took in the sight before her, half heartedly she asked. "Did you trip again?" The joke from so long ago it seemed, except the heart was missing behind the words and she wasn't battered and bruised to match the woman, atleast not visibly. She caught the eyes of the woman and yet she couldn't hold the gaze as she looked away, a quick shrug of her shoulders was the answer to the obvious announcement that she was indeed home. "Yeah.. I'm back. Back and yet not wanting to be. She wished she could just disappear, or even go crawling to her momma, something she never even did when she was younger.
