The bi-colored hybrid strolled leisurely along the lengthy road, following his nose as the scent of the sea grew stronger and stronger. His love for the ocean was substantial, although he didn’t swim in it for one reason or another; his mind seemed to be on too many things to actually concentrate on partaking in one of his favorite pastimes. But he did enjoy strolling along the beach, for not only did he have time to himself to think, but it gave him something to do rather than sitting there, looking like he felt.

A bend in the road opened up to the beach, the sands shifting slightly in the gentle breeze. The sun had set, leaving a clouded moon in its wake and a pair of mahogany eyes to stare at it longingly. Anti found a flat boulder to sit upon, his white-tipped tail curling against his left thigh as his elbows embedded themselves into his knees and his muzzle was buried gently into his hands. He found comfort in just sitting there, his face closed off to the world beyond his own body.

She had no idea why she had decided to travel so far from home this night. Perhaps it was simply a bit of restlessness. Her life had been rather hectic ever since Twilight Vale disbanded. It had all turned out for the better, but it had taken a lot of work to get it that way. Crimson Dreams had finally been established after much hard labor, and now she was a leader to boot. Maybe all she needed was some fresh air and a new landscape to help calm her hurried thoughts after the large transition in her life.

The scent of Dhalia de Mai's borders filled her nose, and the strong salty perfume of the ocean. Instead of going to see her friend who lead the near by pack, the obsidian female elected to go visit the beach that she had yet to lay eyes on. Savina's love of the ocean was strong and if the opportunity to see it from a new vantage-point came along she was almost sure to take it. Emerald eyes took in the sight of the sand as her limbs carried her closer to the area. She was still a good ways off, but she easily noticed that she was not the only patron of the sea tonight. They were shifted, and before moving on the femme took a moment to change to her optime form as well. She found it more comfortable to communicate when the participants were on the same level sometimes.

Now on two feet, she closed more distance between herself and the stranger. He was a very interesting sight indeed, she'd never seen anyone like him. There was definitely wolf blood in him, but what he was mixed with she couldn't say. Stopping a few feet away from him, her eyes followed his gaze to the moon. "Lovely night, isn't it?" Italian accented voice carried softly over the air. The silver chain and pink shell around her neck were oddly illuminated in the night light.

His eyes drew slowly from the silvery orb in the sky; slower perhaps, than he should have moved. His muzzle tilted only slightly in order to get a decent view of the beautifully dark female, standing at his side. His tail flipped uncomfortably, and he shifted in his sitting position rather nervously. Yeah, he breathed quietly, almost forgetting that she had spoken.

He swallowed, mahogany eyes drifting away from her and settling onto the ocean. He was silent, due to his substantial lack of conversational skills. Though, in order to be polite, he did look back at her; an uneasy hand running through his yielding, dual-colored Mohawk as he looked up at her with vague, silver-laced eyes.

As he moved her gaze shifted back to him. It was apparent the younger male was a bit nervous. Savina was not used to such a reaction, she most definitely didn't consider herself an intimidating person. But she didn't really think he felt intimidated. It was something else. She wasn't at all put off. It actually made her a bit more curious. Made her want to help him come out of his shell a bit. "Your mane is very interesting. I've never seen anything quite like it." She was trying the tactic of getting him to talk about himself to open up. They certainly made an interesting looking pair. His hair standing straight up, while her wavy mane reached the small of her back.

When his gaze fell back on her the girl offered him a warm smile. Even though she was sure that he wasn't afraid, she wanted to make sure that he didn't feel at all like he was in any danger from her. The idea was somewhat laughable, but it was just her nature. "My name's Savina. May I ask you your's?" The wolfess had always been taught to be very polite in attaining other's names. Names were important, and wasn't information one should be forced to give if they didn't want to. "Do you live around here?" Her tone was consistently friendly and soft.

Her words of compliment made his hand run back and forth more vigorously along his head, as if trying to dissipate his own hairstyle; yet no matter how many times his fingers crushed the shape and build of his standing hair, it annoyingly resumed position. It’s just… kinda like that, he said rather awkwardly, shrugging slightly as he dropped his hand to the rock space beside him. It seemed impossible to rid himself of the hairstyle he considered vaguely embarrassing; he was never fond of others commenting on it.

Her smile, which was a blaring addition to her dark, wavy-haired beauty, was slightly unexpected; and only because he didn’t see “smiles” all too often. He would’ve smiled back, if he felt that he knew how, but could only look at her confusedly for a long moment, appearing slightly apologetic for not knowing how to properly respond to her gorgeous grin.

Savina. He’d be sure to remember her name, if nothing else. Antigrin, he replied curtly to her question, his ears twitching slightly at her soft voice; and I don’t really live anywhere in particular. I kinda just… sleep… where I… lay…. His words had slowed slightly as he had begun to feel as if he were talking too much for her. He looked down suddenly, muttering some sort of incoherent apology.

There was a sadness about this strange male, and it only made her heart go out to him all the more. She wanted to help him. It almost seemed like he didn't have a very good idea as to how one socialized. The look he gave her once she smiled almost said "sorry". But her smile stayed upon her face. "Well it's very nice to meet you Antigrin." Savina hated to see anyone without a home. She had been without one for only a little while, but it hadn't been a pleasant time for her. Some liked the solitude of being on their own, but she found that most enjoyed and were more happy in the company of others.

As his voice slowed and apologized at a level that was barely audible she moved a bit closer to the boy. The wolfess wanted to respect his boundaries, but the maternal instinct was kicking in. Antigrin was no pup, but others didn't have to be pups for her to want to try her best to take care of and help them. "There's no reason for you to apologize. You can talk as much as you want." Her voice was coaxing, hoping to make him comfortable enough to relax a bit. "Do you travel alone? Or are there some friends or family with you?" She assumed he was indeed by himself, but it never hurt to ask. Perhaps it would shed a bit more light on his situation.

She couldn’t have known that if Anti had a choice of how much he would like to talk, it would be a one-way conversation seeing as he would be totally silent. But he appraised her for being polite, and offered her a vague nod of affirmation, not quite able to smile. I’m alone, he answered quietly, unsure that if he had been traveling with someone, if that was a bit of information he’d like to share with a stranger. Yet, perhaps his loneliness explained his lack of social ability. He shrugged slightly, looking up into her kind, yet striking eyes of jade.

Her head nodded slightly at his response. He certainly didn't seem like he enjoyed being alone, but she found this male and this situation to be rather delicate, and wanted to handle it as such. "Do you like being alone? Or would you be more happy with others around you?" The sable female's words were laced with a bit of concern, but it was barely noticeable. The thing that worried her was how withdrawn Antigrin was. She didn't think she'd ever encountered another canine that was so seemingly unused to interaction. She hoped that he would let her help him. If the younger boy wanted a new home she might even be able to give him that.
