Hello darkness, my old friend,

Ku-mu-mu.

The Heavens had fallen from the sky again. This was the second time she'd seen it happen, and she still couldn't understand why clouds were on the ground instead of way up there. This strange phenomenon only happened in Ethereal Eclipse too, from what she'd seen thus far. The Circee was blinded by thick fog, engulfed in it's powerful embrace. She had no idea where she was headed, or where she had come from. There was one thing she knew for sure though, and that was how annoying all of this was getting.

The two-year-old could've simply waited it out and spent the night there, but she didn't trust the lands enough to do so. There was obviously no magical button out there that would make her little problem go away either, so she kept on walking. Her nose guided her a little further south, following the scent of other canines. Surely one of them would be able to point her in the right direction. She let a high-pitched bark escape her throat, deliberately making her presence known to those around. Alexey could only hope to catch the attention of a good samaritan.

I'm assuming this is after the Corona thread? If not, throw things at me. *amusingly steers a half-sick, half-crocked coyote into the thread, yay!*

Despite the fog that was around, it went with the feelings he was having. Whether it had been a bottle or three (or five or ten), Laurel couldn't drive himself to sleep. He couldn't drink himself to sleep either, though it seemed like it had worked a few times before. But even if his motor skills weren't of the sharpest tools in that moment in time, he had surprisingly clarity when it came to navigating the dense wood and the fog that came with it. When he moved, things didn't have to make a whole lot of sense, the world didn't have to be in focus. Trees were easy to dodge, bushes were easy to spot in the obscured light of the moon and given the fact that smell and sound was amplified because he was a canine, Laurel didn't get lost.

He didn't wander off or fall in a hole or drown himself in the lake at random. But he wasn't tired, at least not mentally. Then there was that bark in the darkness, the very sound of it made his head ache. That was the one thing that never went away, he remembered as he turned slowly in the direction of the sound, that head ache. It had been after him for more than just a couple of days. Maybe a week, maybe more. He didn't think anything of it, he chalked it up to other things like he had done with everything else. The wolf just on the inside of their borders however, wasn't like everything else. Unshifted and limping, he wasn't sure what to think. Well, Laurel didn't have any concept of the current time, either, not when he decided to open his mouth and start talking. “It's kind of late to bark like that, isn't it?” Maybe it was because her foot hurt, hell, he didn't know. “You okay?”
