Out of character: Lucifer first please. Then like the rumble begin.

In character:

It felt like months since he had curled up with his brothers and sisters in the snowy Mountains. In all probability it had. His return had been nothing like he had imagined. Instead of family and friends he found devastation and desertion. For the better part of five days and six nights, the massive grey male had worked through the old faded and distorted sents. By and by they had let them to the strange lands. Two were friends that he knew and trusted was surprised to find them together with in the same territory. The third was a family and his feelings were mixed of meeting up with that wolf again.

Finding his old home in such devastating ruins and so utterly deserted had disturbed him greatly. He had eaten little in the past several days, too worried to hunt. Coming up to border was like hitting a brick wall. Deeply worried about his friends, and yes even his son, the great wolf pressed up to the very edge of the Borders. He paced silently and actually debated crossing into the strange land. In his agitation he grumbled quietly beneath his breath.

It's a thief in the night

Though he held a rank in the pack no way did he feel like he was really all that welcomed in the pack lands. He was of the lowest rank in the pack and he never even did anything, the male had told Deuce he came back to be with her, and her actions where chilled, letting him know without words of course that she could care even if he was alive. He couldn’t take up but really who did he have to snap at beside the shadows? And right now the shadows kept him hidden and out of the eyes of the rest of the pack, he might hold a rank and have the right to a meal (left over’s) but however he was still a member of the pack.

His search for his father had not gone as well as he had hoped, where he though his father was he found an empty spot that he made when he left the lands, leaving Deuce be hide. Oh what a monster he was, and the monster and him fought while they were gone hunting for Noah, father of Lucifer. Lucifer got no more than two days away and had to come back, he missed her; he wanted to be Deuce’s mate, hold her and take care of her, and his children. He was too late, the male sighed as he moved though the lands hiding from every one, he wasn’t worth the four feet that he stood on and Iskata made sure to remind him of that. Hell everyone from the pack that he had met up with had been so kind to remind him of that.

There was a scent that tickled his nose that actually made him feel some sort of joy, it was a odd feeling to have over just a scent but something told the male to go figure it out. The male moved slowly as he moved closer and closer, till he seen it. The ghost, well it wasn’t a ghost for sure but it had to be. ”Dad? He meekly called out, he didn’t need someone playing games with him he could already just lay down and have a good old cry. ”Dad is that you?” He didn’t want him to see him this way, he wanted him to see him in Twilight Vale, where he was in a leader spot and was head hunter. Where there was the black male that had something to have pride over, not he was nothing even this Loner had more of a welcome in this pack then Lucifer felt he had. He just hoped that Iskata wasn’t around to yell at him or take some of her stress out on him, he would take it of course and if she walked in her and told him to just he would jump with only saying yes ma’am he knew foolishly enough not to fight with her. He was hear on her good grace, and Deuce did even want to try to save his back side, she let him sit right in the low rank that he was in.

It wasn't the most welcoming face to see. Noah was still not sure how he felt about Lucifer. The lad had not only disgraced Noah but had disgraced family line. How could Noah ever face his ancestors when it was his time to go on the final hunt? He did not want a think about it. Bad enough he had already had to face his mother and grandmother. They had been shocked by his tales yet supportive as they could be for him. It was his father and grandfather which he dreaded to met in the afterlife. We were both noble and proud wolves. Each had been great alphas and fantastic fathers. Noah had failed them miserably. To only make matters worse, he could not control his son resulting in pain for others.

The great giant step slowly towards his son as mixed emotions raged inside him.

"Aye lad," he said tensely trying not to betray his conflicting feelings.

The pup was still his son. He was also Noah's responsibility. Although he loved Lucifer, he knew he had to control him. He could only hope that Lucifer hadn't gotten into too much trouble in Noah's absence.

"What're you doing here lad?" he asked with a note of suspicion.

From what Noah knew, Lucifer should not have been in pack lands with Deuce.

The black male was not sure that he should even be leaving the main living part of the pack, hell he wasn’t even sure if he should be in these lands. He felt like a flea on their coats, they knew he was there and as far as they knew they couldn’t get rid of him, so it was either sit and dig at it all day or just let it host upon the body. The black male wasn’t sure if this was all some big joke. The male moved closer slowly keeping his tail tucked up under his body was slowly getting use to holding it up against his stomach. That with his ears slicked back against this head. He moved closer to the grey male, as he whimpered, it was glad to see the male that he was hunting for was here.
”Da..uhd!” He whimper as he moved closer to him leaning him-self against the male, he was still now where near his father’s height, he was taller than his birth mother but he was on the shorter line of average for a male. He wanted nothing more to see him father smile down in pride at him, but oh he knew that wasn’t going to happen any time soon.”I live here. I just joined…well about a week ago” He looked up to the male as he whimpered again looking back down against and nuzzling his head into the male, god oh god was he glad to have his father back.

His grandmother had told him to be patient with Lucifer and to show him unconditional love. His mother had suggested taking Lucifer out for a long hunting trip and spending some more one-on-one time with him. His sister had suggested renaming Lucifer and beating the living shit out of him. She had even offered to come along and help. Noah had known better than to laugh at her offer. His sister was a tiny little thing and older than him but she was the only wolf he had ever known to take down wolves three times her size in a matter of seconds. Seeing Lucifer made him wish that he had taken her up on her offer. It would have been much easier to avoid Lucifer's aunt dish out the discipline and for Noah to step in after words as the loving father.

Bristling fur all down his spine revealed his intense agitation over confronting his wayward son. Although he made no sign of moving away from Lucifer's advances, it neither did he move forward welcomingly. The extreme submissiveness seemed to be completely out of character for Lucifer and Noah was suspicious. What had the boy done now?

"That so? They let you in. Does Deuce know?"

Part of still thought he should be carrying Lucifer out of those lands right then and there. Noah wanted to believe him. The stars only knew how much he want to believe him. But no had been burnt badly before and more than once.

"Charm seems ta think yeh need some sense knocked into yeh. Yer lucky she or yer mother arn't here."

He had never known Lucifer to wine or Cuddle. It was yet more suspicious behaviour. Although in that particular situation Lucifer technically had higher standing than his father, Noah stood proudly, unafraid to show dominance over his son. He even went as far as to greet his son with some shoulder nibbles and nips.

The boy need his father more so then ever now, when he was broken down and had no one to turn to, not even his son. Taliesin was still upset with him from where he had exiled Deuce for rape. Lucifer thought he had done right by his kids not letting her near them, with her mood swings and the fact that she had raped someone the black male had to protect the pack and his children that lived in the lands. He had to do it…right? The male felt his father’s coat raise, with a whine he pulled his head down into his shoulders and pushed him-self off with a push of his on feet against the ground, he wasn’t getting the welcoming from his father either. He hadn’t found it an anyone’s arms, The male lowered him-self down to the ground in a ball it was safe, his belly was down on the ground, his ears back and his tail covered his side.
He knew Noah was trying to look out for Deuce since he had hurt her daughter, but Lucifer had changed some, time ago he had ran to Deirdre to help with Deuce when she was hearing voices and trying to kill her-self to rid her-self of the voices. Lucifer had no other being he thought he could go to with help controlling Deuce. Oh what was the past when he just had to worry about the pack safety. He sniffed as he nodded slowly for a brief second laying his head down, still trying to keep it tucked up in his shoulders. ”Yes Sir. Deuce moved on, but she knows I’m here. I know if Momma was alive she would have skinned me the first time. Though there for a while she threw things randomly at me after the whole Deirdre. Then the fire came and all the lands burnt…so she never came back…I miss her voice…I can’t even remember what she looks like…or sounded like. I’ve spoken to Deuce and Iskata Sir. They both are aware of me living as a member in these lands. Iskata accepted me.”

Out of character: this would be a great time another pack member(s) who didn't know Noah to come to lucifers rescue. Anyone looking for a good beating should join in. Smile

In character:

Outsider or not, Noah was still Lucifer's father. The great giant may have been the one to cross into the borderers of another's land but he was the one who moved to tower over the curled up subordinate. A low growl rumbled deep from his chest as he bent over of the curled up form. Quicker than someone his size should have been able to move Noah began to savagely strike and nip at his son. In reality it only sounded unlooked savage. The bites themselves beearly made contact. As fierce as he sounded he could not actually bring himself to hurt his pup. But he was through taking any gruff from Lucifer and set out to assert his dominance over the younger male.

The level of ferocity in his voice increased at the babblings about Summer. Noah had loved Lucifer's mother dearly and felt that this was just once again one of Lucifer's attempts to hurt Noah and he did not take kindly to it. He allowed a single nip to register firmly upon Lucifer sholders. His blood boiled at the mention of his beloved mate and it aged him that Lucifer would use her against him. So the boy really hadn't changed at all.

The Matriarch of Phoenix Valley had been out again along the red dirt road walking the grounds from one end to the other to check on packmembers and their lifestock. She'd had no real thought of how she should have been curled up on her couch reading or knitting like she'd been spending the past week or so doing. She was still a restless soul and no matter how much she liked to do something or how happy and content it made her feel.. from time to time she just needed that fresh country air.

A soft smile was upon her maw as she felt the little ones within her twist and kick as they settled back into place with the motion of her gait. Pausing as she leaned against the fence and gazed at the mustang that trampsed across the golden meadow, eyeing her with mild interest. She chuckled at the silly animal and thought of the blankets she'd been trying to knit, the first one she'd failed miserably on but with practice she'd finally got the hang of the strange human hobby and was creating beautiful creations from her own two hands. Her wandering mind would have continued to wander if from the corner of her eye she hadn't caught sight of two flashes of color so different from one another or the sound of voices echoing in the territory.

Leaning back from the fence the lady's attention turned quickly to the scene down the way as she quickly made to figure out just what in the hell was going on. The scent of Lucifer caught her nose and for a moment she thought that perhaps she was walking into Jefferson teaching the male a lesson but quickly she realized how wrong she was. A growl built in her throat as she stepped into the mess and declaired dryly. "You won't even raise a fang to defend your own pack and lands boy?" She knew exactly who the male before her was but she didn't raise a fuss, long ago she'd befriended the father of Lucifer and though she could hardly believe the connection she wasn't too happy to find Lucifer's cowering body bloodied on their own lands when a loner stood dominant on her own territories.

Her heckles were raised as she stood in a stance of complete power over Lucifer and expecting the male before her to drop himself into the same. She was prepared to show him who was in charge if he decided to be stupid or if by some chance he'd forgotten who exactly she was. There was no way he would be able to tell who she was in this pack, but he was on her pack's grounds now and everyone should know who should be in control here.

Noah had changed, everyone had changed, Deuce was no longer the same, hell was he evens the same since he took that trip and had returned. The black boy would have snarled and push his head and weight around if it would have been just about anyone else, but he couldn’t to this one. The male looked to the father once he had stopped with a painful whine. Why was every one picking on him and beating up on him, yes he figured it was going to happen with his rank but never the less it hurt and he sure as hell didn’t expect his father of all beings to be the one that was attacking him.
The voice calling out to him really wasn’t the voice he had wanted to hear, the boy looked up at Noah shooting him a help me look. He knew Iskata wasn’t some one that he wanted to mess with. His voice cut in and out, as he trying to figure a way to defend him-self as well as his father. ”Not to my father Ms.” He knew he was going to pay for his words, but he wouldn’t dare to raise a hair to his father or Iskata. He knew his head could just be ripped off and tossed to the side and neither one wouldn’t think twice.

Noah looked up and saw familiar face. Just as quickly as his eyes began to brighten, they furrowed in confusion. Why was she ignoring him and why was she addressing his son like that? Could she not see that he was dealing with his son and could do so without help?

"Evening m'lady," he greeted with a deep nod of the head.

Being not of those lands, he naturally dropped his dominant stance in the presence of another pack member. The arch in his back became no more. The curl of his tail undid it is tail hung limply between his heels. The furlong his spine automatically flattened. Likewise, his ear is turning to the sides and he let his head drop over his son. Noah kept his head there and continued to stand over Lucifer, effectively putting himself between his old friend and his son. Noah wasn't looking for any trouble but there was something going on between these two.

It seems strange that Lucifer had only just mentioned her and here she was. Only then did things start to fall into place and when they did he mentally swore to himself. How did he get himself into these situations? Try not to think about the stupidity of it, Noah lowered himself so that he was hovering just above his son. Although crouching was the politically smart way to apologise for his trespassing, it was clear he intended to shield the pup from harm.

"This was of my doing m'lady," he said gently, "I take responsibility fer the lad's actions."

Iskata's eyes glowed as she watched Lucifer before her. She almost wished she was in a better form or state to handle the situtation as he adverted his eyes from her, looking to his own attacker for held. She growled softly as he mumbled his reasonings. She snapped at him as the words reached her ears. "You'd rather die than fight for your pack, for Deuce? for Taliesin?" she was annoyed at the boy for not standing up to the lashing his father had given him, though she was rather curious as to what right Noah had to issue the beating on their own borders. She turned her head towards Noah as he spoke, her fangs glittering slightly and she nodded to the male.

She watched him as he dropped into a state of submission between her and his son. She raised a brow as she narrowed her eyes slightly, asking. "Noah, you come to these lands and attack my fellow packmate.. then strive to protect him?' She shook her head at the strange male, she respected him greatly but she thought that even this was going a bit beyond the relationship the two might have. She expected the greyscale male to have atleast have had the decency to take his personal issues with his son off their own packlands.

She shook her head as she laughed in disbelief at the two of them for a moment. "You take responsiblity for his actions? No. Take responsiblity for your own, leave his to me." Iskata really didn't want to hear any excuses from anyone but she knew they'd come up anyways. She really would like some answers as to what the hell she'd stepped into but it appeared the blame game was about to begin. She was game if they were though.

No matter what rank the boy could not stand up to his father, It wouldn’t have mattered if Lucifer was the Matriarch, and Noah was still just a loner and Noah was hurting him, he couldn’t, he wouldn’t. This was his father he was talking about. The man that helped make him. He was sure Iskata was going to yell at him some more, maybe even kick him around some, or try to do something to anger him to rise up and nip back at his father. It was just not in him to hurt him, hell the worst thing he had done to Jazper was pinch his ear and pull him back once he got to mouthy for his own good. Lucifer had no issues taking Jazper back down to where he needed to be, however Noah…The father of Lucifer and Charm. That was something ever so different.
He whined though thankful after his father had beaten him he wasn’t going to let Iskata hurt him...Though she never had just yet, but he was sure he would do something to get the nasty “Sugar Lips” mad again. ”I can’t Ms. He’s my dad.” He knew that she was right, just the honor of the pack it’s self should have been enough to make the black male stand up and take action against the Grey one. Maybe the old Lucifer could have but not this one, not the Sulein.

She'd been walkinh when the sight of one form attacking another got her attention. A large grey sahpe was attackinga smaller black one. Lucifer. Deuce's hackles raised, and she began to run, only distantly aware that Iskata had already arrived at the scene. Deuce arrived on the opposite side as Iskata, coming in closest to Lucifer. She heard the thick accent nd the words. Lucifer's father was back. She felt a momentary wave of relief at that. perhaps Lucifer would stop acting so beaten then. The words she heard did little to bolster that hope, however, and Deuce spoke without thinking.
"Lucifer, you are the pack's Loas, you do not cower before a loner, no matter his relation to you. Get up." Her voice was sharp, but her eyes were fixed pointedly on the Matriarch. She would not tolerate this pathetic cowering anymore, not from the black male she once left her own home and child to follow. She stood stiffly, fists balled at her sides, ready to fight for the male who was acting so cowardly.
It had only been last night that the white woman had figured out that perhaps his actions were because the rnk Iskata had given him was one of Shame. Shame on her Lucifer, who'd always been a wonderful provider and protector. Deuce felt more shame at herself for not immediately changing his title as soon as she'd heard it. She was as responsable for his cowering as Iskata was, and she had to fix that. She would help Lucifer earn his ranks, no matter how Iskata felt about it.

Maybe he should have let his sister come along with him. Things like this never happened to her. It was starting to become clear to him were Lucifer got his trouble finding streak from.

"I'd never hurt the lass," he assured her quietly. It stung that she'd even suggest that Lucifer had to defend Deuce from Noah. His head lowered still further until his chin brushed the damp ground.

"Aye, that I do m'lady," he murmured without meeting her eyes. Lucifer & his relationship was a strange one to say the least. He was not about to try and explain it because he himself didn't fully understand it.

"Then please considered this. It t'was I which trespassed when I saw the lad. And it t'was I, a much larger and more experienced wolf, who initiated this. Fer that I beg yer fergiveness and accept punishment."

As smoothly and unobtrusively as he could, the giant grey step up from over Lucifer and lowered himself submissively between the two. He hated for his son to see him like that but there was very little choice in the matter. His muscles tensed and he steadied himself in preparing for whatever she saw fit to do to him. He refused to allow himself to yelp, whimper, or grimness.

His ears perked at the arrival of the second female. Only his age and experience kept him from forgetting himself and rising up to meet her. It was not the happy reunion he had imagined. It didn't even come close to it.

In no time at all his joints began to stiffen up uncomfortably. Submission wasn't just socially uncomfortable for the giant wolf it was also physically uncomfortable. It took a great deal of effort for him to hold himself so low to the ground. He wish the females would just get this over and done with.

It seemed in a fury that all hell had broke loose on the little dirt road as opposite of Lucifer and Noah Deuce had appeared from behind Iskata. Their eyes met and Iskata knew instantly that there were still feeling the female harbored for the cowarding once proud male between them. Iskata's eyes stayed like ice as she ignored Lucifer's statement. She didn't actually expect him to attack his father but a little bit of backbone would have been nice. She knew what the greyscale male was capable of but she also knew the tenderness he held inside as well. While Deuce spoke up sharply to Lucifer, the address of his rank change becoming formal Iskata did little more than Nod quietly to Deuce. Just a fraction of one at that, they would have their words later, though there was no illwill towards her coleader, only pain that she would allow the male her heart again so quickly. It would be a headstrong push and pull between the two over the progress of the black male and each slipup Iskata caught him at he would pay for. She might not demote him outright, but privately or even publicly she would show him she knew, that she watched.

Iskata turned her eyes back at Noah as he spoke, Deuce and her had their own business to tend to later and they each knew it was coming, it was always like this between the two. One would push one would pull, but when they worked together everything was in perfect harmony. This was just a rut in their relationship that they each had their own ideas of getting out of, sooner or later they'd suceed but until then it would be a struggle. Iskata glared down at the two before her, her temper slowly ebbing away as she realized just how silly it looked for two full grown males to be submitting themselves so readily to the two ladies. Hardly ever had the women demanded a show of their rank but somehow it had just fallen into place. Iskata shook her head and hissed. "Get up, the both of you." She had no clue what to do with the pair, in amazement she just continued to shake her head as she uttered. Fools, the pair of you.."

She relazxed suddenly, tired already from the show of her temper as she watched the two. She was curious as to what had happened to Noah for so long but the temper he'd shown towards his son she knew of, so long ago he'd done the same towards his own alpha. She narrowed her eyes again and asked. "Who's loyalty were you protecting this time Noah?" She knew much of Lucifer's history but she wasn't going to go thatfar down that road again, she'd been angry enough for one day. "He's not Ahren, and this isn't his pack, who was it for?" So long ago they'd had a conversation of how Noah had singly attempted to defend his own pack from the newcoming alpha, a male that she herself had a bitter history with.. but that was long gone burned into ashes along with the rest of her world, or so she believed.

Lucifer knew few of a lot of things, however he knew in a heartbeat his father would never hurt Deuce or their children. His father was the one male he knew that wouldn’t hurt someone unless he had a reason, a really good reason. Lucifer trusted that his father would always be the one that was the passive one between the two of them. He didn’t move from his father’s side, after all that was the reason he left the pack to begin with. He wanted him back in his life and now here he was, he wanted him to stay in his life for the rest of his time. His blue eyes looked up to his father, wondering if he was going to nip at him again for saying what he did.
He rose to his paws a bit unsure if he would be welcomed if he presses him-self against his father, Deuce words echoed though his ears, she had rose him a rank, better then what Iskata had done, Lucifer was sure that she would have much rather left him there in the lowest rank that was possible. He rolled his ears, and then shifted one forward and one back, he looked to his father, this was not the time in his life he wanted him to see, and he wanted him to be there when he had a shiny spot in the pack and was the head hunter. Lucifer muttered and mumbled trying to ignore Iskata words.
Now in Lucifer eyes she had all rights to spew insult after insult to him and about him, he walked into her pack and asked to join. So if she wanted to call him any name that she could think of, the male wasn’t about to let her insult his father, he didn’t ask for any of this, Lucifer must have done something wrong to earn Noah’s nips, He looked at Deuce quickly, he knew he was going to get in trouble, he knew Iskata would yell at him, maybe even take away the rank that Deuce just gave to him, but he had to stand up for his father. ”Leave him alone….He is not a part of your pack. “ He looked to his father with pride, Iskata would exile him and he would still protect his father, he was the only male in his life that he would die for, and Noah would do the same thing right? He knew Iskata was going to have his head on a plate, he sighed and then swung his head down, he didn’t regret standing up for his father. It was his first chance to yell or say something mean towards Iskata since he walked into the pack lands, she had plenty of time to find way to insult him and cut him down, and he was getting use to it, but never the less she was the leader and he would protect her also, but from her father…he would protect his family then pack. Though there was that fickle line that he walked.

Iskata didn't argue, didn't disagree, for which Deuce was grateful for. This game between her co-leader and the black male had gone on long enough. Deuce was tired of seeing him cower; she had never once pulled rank on him, though by all rights she could. She didn't want to. Whether he'd left or not, he was still the love of her life, more so than Soran had ever been.
She swung her steady bi-colored gaze to the grey male. Her body slowly relaxed as she conciously allowed it to. There would be no fighting on this day. She didn't need to be so stiff and angry. Her hands relaxed at her sides, and she soon crossed her arms. She looked between the two males impatiently waiting for them to both cease cowering. She wanted nothing more than to hold Lucifer close, but he made that all too impossible.
Yes, she still loved him, even if they were no longer official mates. It was partially her fault, and partially his. But laying the blame didn't matter so much any more. All that mattered now was what was going on here. She would let Iskata find out that, she was just here to make sure Iskata laid no more blame on lucifer thn was actually his.

The humiliation of it all was damn near unbearable. But will the real thing keeping him from stalking off was concerned for his son. Something was going on here. He wasn't sure exactly why it but it did not sit well with him. As usual Lucifer seemed to be in some sort of trouble but there was something different about the boy this time. He only wished he knew what it was.

Noah did not argue and welcomed the chance to stand up. Even a short time in a tense crouch had left him a little stiff. He just wasn't built for such things. Nor did he argue about being called a fool. In all fairness, it was completely true.

He had no excuse for what he had done. Although all but one of the nips had been no more than mouthing and grumbling, he had still had no right to do so. The last he had seen his son was in one last effort to get Lucifer under control and sober him out. When that final effort failed in he could do no more, he knew he was no more use to the lands or his son. He had failed the more miserably.

When he had seen Lucifer, Noah had wanted to put him in his place right away and maybe make everything right again. It had been stupid but he had long since run out of ideas.

Iskata's words burned and deeply and his ears folded all the way back this time. He turned his great head away from her. His brows furrowed so deeply that his eyes were almost closed when he answered quietly.

"None," he admitted begrudgingly. When he had gone up against Ahren and nearly got himself killed, he never viewed it as stupid. When he had launched himself into battle and could have had his throat ripped out he never feel bad as stupid. Even back in the land of his birth where he had fought many battles he never start any of those as stupid. But this, this was stupid. Listening to his son defend him only made his head drop further.

"No, lad. She is right. I've been an ass."

He hated his son to see him like that. He hated for Anyone does seem like that. If he had been a wiser wolf may be he would have known enough to leave well enough alone. But he knew that Iskata was right. He was a damn fool.

If any good had come of this, it least he knew his son was alive and well and that others had survived. It was far a past time for him to go.

Once more it seemed that Lucifer would try her and this time his words made fire flash in her eyes as she raised her head high and spoke firmly to the male, wanting to end this here and now. "Lucifer, I speak to your father as a friend, not as his leader. He ought to know me well enough by now to know I'll speak my mind whether he likes it or not." Her voice was dry, freed from all humor as she tried to point out to Lucifer that his safety was just as important as Lucifer protecting the pack itself. She wouldn't tolerate fights along their own border for any reason at all. Family first and formost. "Now stand down before you make another foolish step over the line." She narrowed her eyes as she warned him. He might be in Deuce's favor for stealing her heart but he wouldn't be in Iskata's unless he earned that spot.

Within moments her eyes moved slightly over to the large male, just a tiny flicker of amusement in her eyes as she sighed. "Now that we atleast have this all straightened out.. It's nice to see you again Noah." She knew that Noah was no fool in the long run but just like all the them he sometimes did foolish things. She could and would forgive him for them but the preganant Iskata was far moodier than the mothering Iskata with a pack of puppies hot on her heels. She didn't tolerate much at all and what she did was with a warning glance and a weary eye. She shook her head at the pair of the as she asked. "Are you here to stay?.. I suspect you've seen the old lands.." she said sadly as she began to relax a bit.

Her eyes moved to Deuce as she tried to make her understand that and danger that might have surfaced from the confrontation was long since over and now it was just family trying to figure out where they'd been and what had happened in the seasons since they'd all last seen one another.. which had been far too long ago in the Matriarch's eyes.

Her words once again lashed out and hit him over and over, making sure he knew that he was just a stepping stone, and she really didn’t even want him here in these lands. The black male knew though by looking at her, she wasn’t in the mood to hear his reasoning let along even care. She was the one that he had to impress and he knew it wasn’t going to be easy. His eyes casted over to his father, he loved him and would protect him…even from his pack…like his father had done for him. Lucifer gave his father a soft yet loving nip on his shoulder as he brushed away from him, slinking over near the pack lands, and less closer to the loner lands, where Iskata could just throw him to live in. The male looked towards Deuce then to Iskata and just gave a nod, he was torn…honor they father and mother, and they pack….what if they where standing on either end pulling you right into the middle, where would one’s honor go to?
His eyes begged for Noah to stay, he wanted his father here, he needed his father here. The boy would let Noah bite at him and nip at him from sun up to sun down as so long as he would stay with them in the pack. He spoke knowing that Iskata or Deuce could and just might yell at him some more…but he would have to get use to the lack of kind words. ”I need you dad….Your the reason I’m here in this pack and so low of a rank….I went to find you….I need you…I’m so lost with out you…” He let it off his chest, but he wasn’t done, there was more to tell to the story. It had to be told, but there was a question that he wanted to know, he had to know.”Did you leave because you where ashamed of what I was? I know I messed up but I’ve never hurt any one in that way after that and I didn’t even mean to hurt her the first time….Heck Dad, Deuce and I took in her kids. Dad..Please stay…Iskata, would you let him if he wanted? I would go back to my old rank…if that would be needed to make room for him.” If the older female took him up on that offer he would pay and wouldn’t say a word, he would even give up half the food that he ate, just so his father would have room, food and a life with the pack, he wanted to be with his father, and wanted his father to see that he wasn’t really all that bad of a kid. He was just a little lost on the path of life, and would find his way there one day or another, but he seemed to pay each time he messed up just a bit. It was funny how that worked, it was karma in her finest.
