Although he was completely drenched, the grey male was still a giant of a wolf. Noah had just hauled himself up out of an icy pond and holding a plump adult beaver by the throat. His lip was bleeding from where the beaver had struck just before it died. Waiting all day for the blasted thing to surface for air in the small hole in the ice had wore on his patience but now it was all worth it. The beaver would make a fine gift for a friend who was expecting pups.

Leaving the pond with a much larger hole after crashing through after the elusive prey, Noah shook his coat free of as much water as possible and walked up the bank with his prize. He planned to carry it back to the dilapidated little log hut he had claimed for himself and take a well deserved nap. It wouldn’t hurt to try and dry off and warm up. Although as a rule he avoided shifting, he considered making an exception. It would be nice to get a fire going and he could not very well do that with four paws and no hands. Besides, he wanted to smoke the meat and dry the pelt. He decided to wait until he got back to the hut. For now, it was warmer to stay closer to the ground and out of the wind.

By now, you should've somehow realized what you gotta do! (OOC area.)

The dark figure stormed across the valley only crossing to shift into his halfling form to travel faster. Jazpers tall and braod body began to change as his bones shifted into his smaller form. With a shake of his mane he grounded himself on all fours. Generally, he spent the majority of his time hunting in this form and spending his days in his Optime form. This half form wasn't average at all infact he could be compared to a bear if you where to look at him. His temper was fired up, his heart beat fast and his breath was heavy and he ran. The air was cold on his face but it did not cool his head. How could his parents say such horrible things?! /he had done nothing but train and learn since the day they adopted him to make them proud. He was the top ranked male of his pack for crying out loud. Was that not good enough? Could one mate ruin his parents views of him forever?

He refused to change his opinion, he would ask Garnet to be his mate and that was the end of it! A gasp escaped his lips as he went tumbling to the ground over a large figure. Hitting it hard he let out a deep growl turning to see what he had triped on. A wolf. His growl grew as he snarled, "What the hell! You think you can lay where ever the heck you want without warning a guy?!." Jazper's hardly noticable scottish accent sliped into a full out lay it on thick tone. Sizing up the male he took in happily that he was roughly the same size, abnormly large. A sarcastic smirk spread across Jazpers lips, he wanted to cause some trouble. "Well, what's your problem you stupid or something?"

The cold was making quick work of stiffening up his muscles and joints so he paused for a quick stretch. All was looking pretty good for a moment. Then out of nowhere he was hit hard and found himself on the ground. To say the least, it was a huge surprise. There were only two wolves he had ever known to knock him down in a single blow like that. One was his tiny sister. The other was his massive, long-dead, Uncle Havoc. But as he stood, he momentarily forgot that Havoc was dead. The male voice and lack of accent made Noah look round in disbelief. Since he had left the far northern mountains, he had rarely met anyone without one of those awful new worlder accents that were so hard to understand, let alone meet anyone who sounded like family.

To his disappointment, it was not Uncle Havoc but some strange other. Even though he knew hoping to see his dead uncle was foolish, he was still annoyed at having someone other than Havoc standing there. Even more to his annoyance, the beaver now lay in a mess of snow and pine needles. To further add to his annoyance, the other wolf, a werewolf now that Noah had a good look at him, did not only omit any apology but went as far to throw the blame upon Noah instead.

“Lad,” he warned, for he was not about to take such abuse, especially from a pup, “I’d watch yer tounge if I were yeh.”

Noah usually relied on his size to ward off potential scrappers. It usually worked but in this case, he saw that it would not work. Not only was the rude pup another giant, but there was something about him that was just begging for him to be put in his place. Noah wished Charm was there. She was a real little fighter. Noah on the other paw fought only in necessity. However, he was not one to let himself be bullied either.

br>Sorry, short D:

The male seemed to be disappointed in Jazper after he looked at him, hope seemed to leave the older wolf's eyes. Tilting his head questioning Noah the coal halfling waited for an answer. As he spoke Jazz's ears perked up at the familiar sound. He was defiantly from Scotland. His words were sharp for the boy. The entire time all he could think of was Lucifer. Why did every older male think they were better and had to teach him a lesson? What did he ever do to deserve a lecture from every Scottish breed jerk?

Golden eyes glared at the grey giant challenging him. As the stranger stood up Jazz finally sized him up properly. In a second Jazper ran forward, pushing the opposing male. " You know I'm realllyyy gettin' sick of guys like yeh thinkin they have to correct everyone." He snickered and he backed away confidently. He started to walk away slowly, taunting the older male. This was his one chance for a half decent fight, to figure out just how powerful he was when matched in size and he wasn't going to let it slip. Swishing his tail back and forth in a dominant stance and turned and sticking out his tongue chuckled, "I'd like to see yeh try ol' man."."

Ooc: No worries. Shorter posts are easier for these kinds of threads anyways.

Noah saw what was coming, lowered himself slightly, bent his legs, and braced himself like his sister had taught him all those summers ago. It was not his first fight with a large opponent and he would be damned if he would let the over zelous young male push him around. As a pup, Noah had been a runt and need his tiny older sister for protection. He had a thing against bullies.

The younger male had caught Noah off guard and off balance before but Noah was not about to make the same mistake twice. With jaws open and lips curled, he took the impact well enough and it gave him some idea of the other’s power. It anything, the shove was pushing more buttons than actual wolf. Noah did not take the bait. He was too old and experienced to fall for that. Did the dark wolf know just how childish he sounded? And who did he think he was? Noah’s fur began to rise. What was it with pups these days?

“Ney lad. Yer nothing but a whelp. If yer still keen fer a thrashing, see me when yer teeth come in.”

His smokey grey tail was curled tightly up against his back and he showed no sign of backing down. If the pup did not come to his senses, Noah had no problem showing him just what an “old man” could do. He was sick of these hot headed young males running around thinking they knew everything. His lips curled back further and a low rumbled started from deep in his chest. The cold had long been forgotten and his blood ran hot.

He was being rash and he knew it. First, telling his parents about Garnet then starting a fight with an older, just as large wolf. It was just a day for hell. In all of his short life he had only been a teenager a few times. The mass majority had been spent trying ot find a family. Once he found Naniko he had become in debted to her greatly and from there loyal to her and her kin. He had stayed with the pack when his family moved to Phionex Valley and he would for as long as he felt he needed to be. Right now with four pups running around it was natural instinct for him to stay and protect.

For now, he just wanted to live! The push hadn't done much, besides anger the older male. Which was just as good to start a fight. A low chuckle escaped his muzzle as he began pacing, circling Noah pleasently surprised that he had so much fight in him. It reminded him of Lucifer's last fight with himself. Tail wiggling above his back his heart pumped and it was like he was a pup again, fighting his father. "Teeth Came in Papa. He laughed with a smile showin off his long perly whites.

Noah quietly kept an eye and ear on the young hot heat and made sure to face the circling wolf at all times. Older and stiffer he may have been but he had more experience than he cared to admit. One young, ill tempered male was not about to phase him or get the better of him.

“Not but cubs teeth. Yeh don’t even know how ta use dem.”

The grey male’s jaws parted still further, fully prepared if the pup came over for a lesson. Noah would not kill but he would not back down either. Although he did not realise it, he was becoming more like his adoptive father every day. Noah’s father had been a great and uncompromising alpha male. Even the old alpha had once put a surprised young Noah in his place. Unknown to Noah, he was about to carry on the tradition.

The boy reminded him of Lucifer at that age; all fight and no brains. It could be a fatal combination. It was a wonder Lucifer had survived to adult hood. Had Noah ever been that rash?

By now, you should've somehow realized what you gotta do! (OOC area.) yep... I suck XD

The past few weeks had been a long rash time for the male and he had no intentions of just leaving that trend now. It amazed Jazz how other's, such as his father, could live like this all the time. It was out of the ordinary for the boy but still, it was a time long over due. His parents had passed quite some time ago and he had never really paid his respects until now. He had grown from a boy, small and starving into a young adult, large, skilled, will a pack and family.

Looking at Noah he shook his head slightly. Why was he doing this? Anger had taken over him. Confusion made his mind spin. He was mad at the world and he didnt know why. Jazper continued to circle the great wolf infront of him. Allowing his jaws to part more a deep growl escaped him and he leaped. Finaly, the fight was on.

ooc: Hey, How'd that happen? I couldn't find it before. *twilight zone music starts* If it's too short, just let me know. I thought maybe shorter posts would be easier to do a fight with.

The experienced grey male showed no hesitation or fear, nor did he have any. Perhaps he was entering into the clash a tad over confident but to him, this was not a real fight. This was putting a cub in it’s place, nothing more. Unfortunately, he had seen enough battle in his time to make him that way.

A leap attack? Well that suited Noah fine. One rear paw stepped back as he crouched low almost by instinct. It seemed a pity that such things became second nature. By getting lower, he was positioning himself to come up under the attacking wolf. Noah decided against going for the throat straight away. It was not his intention to do any lasting harm to the young male. A nice throat hold could easily end thing but done too earlier and any struggling could seriously hurt the idiotic pup. Noah timed it well and leapt up, straight for the cub’s chest as hard as he could. He aimed his shoulder at the target, knowing it would have the hardest blow.
