heart and soul, you found me again

Lucifer was a member of this pack and though he was no longer the lowest rank in the pack, he was still down there in rank. He wasn’t where he wanted to be and that was for a cold hard fact. There was an odd sent around the borders, and Lucifer knowing that Jefferson was always busy making sure the two mother’s where looked after, Lucifer made sure that there was always time in his border check to make sure that the borders them-self where safe. Standing upon the lands was a tall slender female, a silver lands. Lucifer snarled as he moved watching her, hunch over the wrap that she had over her shoulder. As she bent over the brides feel over, as the wooden beads clunked together. She shook her hands, madly. Lucifer couldn’t help but to raise a brow. ”Who are you and what are you looking for here?” He never was good with the borders, hunting yes, borders no. Her voice was husky but not gruff; as she spoke to him the squealing cry of a young child pricked the black male’s ears. ”Looking for my sister, Iskata, might you know her young man?” He snorted as he shook his head stepping back howling for Iskata, ”What’s your name, Stanger?” Lucifer wasn’t sure if this was a game of war, and this female with child was the Trojan to get into the lands, or if Iskata had some one other the pack that thought of the bitter woman as family. He looked at the female wooden beads dressed in her hair, upon her side there was a hip sack that clunked, she was an odd looking one, with teal colored eyes.

For once Iskata was out of the cabin, but thistime the puppies had come with her. Tucked away in the pouch that Noah had made were two squirming yipping puppies that were attempting to settle down for a nap but having a time at it, paws on noses, tails in faces, you name it, they were complaining about it. Iskata just smiled and rolled her eyes as she padded along quietly towards the border. It wasn't that long of a walk and though the weather was chilly the woman had a large wooly knit blanket wrapped across her shoulders. A string of voices crept over the air as she drew closer and closer to the edge of their lands, almost like a haunting was the sound of one, nails on chalkboard was the other. She bared her fangs lightly and sighed as she moved to intercept the two in their formalities.

The howl from Lucifer was uncalled for, but the male didn't know as within moment after he'd called out she came within sight. At the question that he asked Iskata said softly, "Enough Lucifer, she's family." She smile, but that smile disappeared as she realized she wasn't the only one with a peeping bundle of unhappiness. She could remember the flood, the chaos and the cries for help. She couldn't save them both.. was Konane here again to remind her of that. Her ears flicked back as she said calmly. "Hello Konane, it's been a while.."

Lucifer gave a nod, if she was family to the leader Lucifer wouldn’t attack her, but he would keep an eye upon her, it was clear to see that Iskata might not be up to where she was before the birth of the pups, but she was there. He narrowed his eyes upon the silver lady; she was different maybe to different to be from around here. ”Not really. So…child…you sure your able to keep up with that?” A smile tugged at her black lined lips as she patted the whining sling. Lucifer toss his brows up looking at the silver lady, so she had a name ”Konane” was it? He mouth dropped but he quickly closed it, he knew if he had just spoken to her in that means that he would have been yelled at. Dare he say anything? ”Meet Winter Rain Nakado” It was like it was timed, the white face popped out of the sac, her brown eyes shimmered. Lucifer snorted; oddly enough she sorted looked like Summer, sad. ”Nakado…like as in Fatin’s family line? Small world…small world.”

Iskata would have crossed her arms before her if she didn't have a tote of puppies across her front who were finally taking the time to fall asleep. She raised a brow at her sibling of sorts as she bared her fangs in a mocking grimace. "When have I not, besides, I'd enough practice as is.." she shook her head as a high piercing yap rang from the pouch as sheran her fingers across the skins, trying to sooth the bossy grumpy child within before she woke her brother. Iskata could tell just who was awake and who was asleep in the bag, already their personalities were beginning to show and it was more than enough keeping her up at times.

The silvery gold lady ignored the reaction from Lucifer as suddenly she was presented with a new addition to their largely growing family. She smiled as she gazed down at the silvery white figure with the sparkly eyes. She caught the comment from Lucifer as she turned to watch him a moment as she answered, "Yes, Konane is Fatin's neice, her father was Mercido Nakado.." She turned her eyes back to the pair as she grinned, "Though she was basically raised as family, our Aufpasser and Apothacary Siondaite took her in." She doubted that Lucifer cared but perhaps for once he'd be able to learn something of the large family he'd joined. She swollowed as she tried to get past the last of it. "She was Echo and Summer's daughter.. once." Though she knew that Summer was Lucifer's mother, the Summer Iskata remembered wasn't one who was caring or gentle. She'd been a beast and had taken the life of an innocent pup right before her own eyes. She wasn't even for certain if Lucifer knew the darker side to his own mother.

Lucifer tried to wrap his mind around the fact that this female that stood mocking Iskata was like a sister to him, that she was a child of Summer, and Fatin was family to her. This was an odd thing for him to find out. His eyes still not trusting this silver female didn’t matter if she was a child of Summer or not. The silver lady reached into the sac bring out the child with black tuff marched though her white coat, as she placed her upon the ground. ”I was never Summer’s child, I was her punching bag, if anything . Siondate was more of a mother then Echo, Hello Lucifer.” Winter Rain sniffed around as he found a rather nice spot near her mother’s leg. Konane, smiled at her. Lucifer looked back up to Iskata”So if she was a child to Summer and Echo…that would make me part in this whole mess, being the last litter she gave birth to.” Lucifer narrowed his eyes upon the silver lady with a snarl”Family of Iskata, or me or not. Don’t speak about my mother in that means.”Konane waved a hand at the black male.”What do you think of him Iskata? Is he really worth the effort of training to be an adult? Or should…we have Winter help him?”

Iskata held her tongue at the comment on Summer, though she knew it was truthful and she knew that Siondaite had lost a child to save the silver fae before her, perhaps in some sense actually lost both her children, one born simple the other meeting death at Summer's own fangs. She flicked her sky orbs over to Lucifer, slightly enjoying knowing he was uncomfortable with the whole situation, and yet she really didn't care. She knew she was being unfair to the male but in her whole life she'd realized over and over again that sometimes folks didn't change.. she'd marked the male for one of those numbers.. maybe he'd prove her wrong, but she doubted that.

While the pup investigated the ground Iskata chuckled and thought back to her own babes, to which she opened the pouch to show Konane the tiny ones inside, only half the age of Winter Rain. She almost instantly lowered the flap as Lucifer took the time to raise his voice and stance to a more dominate one over Konane. Her fangs flashed as she snarled back to the male, throwing the truth she'd held back so long. "She can speak of Summer how she pleases! She may have been your mother but she murdered innocent lives just the same." Her sky blue orbs turned frosty crystal as she stared down the male, barely registering the softer tones that Konane spoke in as she tried to get her point across to the male that seriously needed to get himself in check. "Konane, at times I wonder what he's worth.. Perhaps knowing the truth will make him want to be something more, standing blind in her shadow will do no good." She growled softly, wondering just how much he thought he knew of his mother and how stupid he was to the truth.
