Lucy in the sky with diamonds

He yawned as he moved away from his pack and moved closer to the lands of where his old packs use to lay. It was a travel, but frankly it was well worth it. He had been gone far too long and had failed to check in to see if Naniko was doing okay with her new life and new role. Lucifer knew as long as Savina was around, Naniko would be well looked at and she wouldn’t have to worry or stress as badly, but just like in the old time the male found time to go and see how she was and to offer her up some fresh meat.

His paws took him to the borders and yet he didn’t cross over, he stood there letting the winds wrap around his frame as he shivered, he closed his eyes lowering his head letting the wind fly over his head. He grunted, as he was whisked away into thoughts of the pack that was here not really that so long ago. He sighed as he found him-self in the land back in the spring months. He wasn’t all that important but he knew that was his home, it felt right with Deuce there, and all of the boys around. The male found him-self re-living his life as a shadow, till the lands disbanded, it was like the fire in the lands there was the sparks set all over the lands, and once someone finally snapped and light the flame it all crashed and burned.

The air chilled her, the bite of frost evident as it swept across her gray coat. But she was learning to love the chilliness of the lands. She had never been one to enjoy the great out doors. And she often preferred to be warm within the mansion. But now she found that she was ready for the snow to fall. She was actually anticipating snow storms rather impatiently. At least it would make the landscape beautiful, transform it into a dreamy alien white world.

She crept along the border lands quietly, retracing the steps of the journey she had made weeks before. Part of her rebelled against her actions. She did not like to stray far from the pack lands of Crimson Dreams, preferring to stay within the reaches of the shadow of Haven Mansion. But she knew it was necessary to acquaint herself with her new home - the entirety of it, and not just the parts she liked best.

"Hello there," Geneva called out, her voice a high note, a soft soprano over the whispering of the wind. Her lime green eyes traced another wolf's dark form. He stood at the borders, as if between two worlds, perhaps between memory and reality.

He was jolted from his day dreams, looking up to the being in front of him, dipping his head the male blue eyes fixed upon her grey body, plastering a smile upon his face he didn’t let his eyes fall far from her chest, trying to steal a look at her, but with in the area of not being thought of as disrespectful. He lowered his body down just slight enough to show he was of a lower rank. These where not his lands any more there was no longer just him and one other over him, that was a good friend. He was standing near a land that still healed his heart as home, but with the white lady back in Phoenix Valley was where he was needed. ”Hello, I erm..know Naniko wanted to see how she was.” He didn’t dare come out and say that he thought that just maybe he could be the father of the children’s that she bore.

Geneva's ears swiveled slightly as the male lowered himself, not meeting her eyes. She was glad of this show - it told her that the male meant her - and more importantly the pack - no harm. But still she found it hard to believe that after so little time with the pack she would have attained a status that would cause others to do such a thing. She had recently been promoted to Sergeant, an honor she held quite close to her heart. She was very proud of her home and glad that Naniko trusted her enough to do such a thing.

Still, the situation at hand made her a little uncomfortable. In her mind, she didn't feel any different than the most other wolves. Although she definitely felt in synch with the rest of the pack, part of the family indefinitely, she didn't feel authoritative on any level. At heart, she was truly submissive. But she did her best not to let it show.

At the mention of Naniko, she brightened. A small smile stretched her mouth. "Sir, please relax," she said, although her eyes still traced him with a mixture of welcome, curiosity, and wariness. My name is Geneva Stockholm. What is yours? And how do you know Naniko?" she said. "She's fine," she added, because although she knew that the Commander had broken a rib, it wasn't good to reveal any sort of weakness to the outside world.
