What a miserable day. The sky was nothing but a slate of gray, and it was cold and wet. It seemed the foreign wolfess had finally found something that she didn't like about her new home. Winter. The winters back in Italy were incredibly mild. She was so unused to this, and as the days got colder and colder her lethargy grew. Most days she would have been out patrolling the borders. Not today though. Today she was simply laying on the couch of the common area of the mansion. They had decided to close the pack to new members, so the Lt. General figured it would be alright to take the day off.

One of her front paws dangled off of the soft cushions. Savina stared at the opposite wall with half-lidded eyes. She had received plenty of sleep, but the gloomy days just sucked all her energy. Anymore all she wanted to do was to laze about inside. A winter coat was finally beginning to grow in, but it didn't offer her as much protection from the chilling winds as she would have liked. The scarf she had found in the city was helping somewhat, but only around her neck. Maybe she should carry one of the many blankets she and Kansas had to wrap around herself. This was definitely not her season of choice.

*Gnaws on cheerfully* Hi Smile

push it inSoran sat crosslegged on her bed, having come back inside after her brief meeting with her other grandson, she had met them both now and despite having met them both only once she already adored them, her grandson's, her blood, her little green eyed boys. Now she just had to meet her granddaughters, she wasn't sure how easy a goal that would be, but it was one that she was determined to achieve, if she couldn't have her children then her grandchildren would more than do, until she could catch up with their father and aunt and uncle, and she would, eventually, the lady was a huntress, and so had an excellent skill for tracking others, she would find them no matter how long it took her. But still, seeing the new life that had come from her own child, seeing the healthy boys had delighted the lady, she was glad to be around for them, like she never had been for her own children, she had every intention by attoning for her sins, by making it up to someone, and she would start by lavishing grandmotherly love upon the nearest creatures to her, her grandpups.

push it inThe obsidian lady's jade eyes flicked across the yellowing pages of the book clasped in her hands, absorbing the story, enjoying the tale as she sat listening the the rain beating against her window pane, the curtains already drawn so that she did not have to look at the darkening sky covered by the thick grey clouds. She had come inside as soon as it had started to rain, reluctant to get muddy whilst exploring, knowing that she would not have anywhere close enough to the house to wash it off and not wanting to track dark muddy footprints over the old wooden floors of her new home. And so she had been sat on her bed for hours, having shifted back into her more favoured bipedal form, it was less practical for hunting, but it had opposable thumbs, so it was easier to get the things she needed and turn the pages of her books.

push it inEventually the lady's enthusiasm for the book waned, it was one of her favourites, but because of that she had read it so often that she could almost recite every line, and because of this the book had become tedious, boring, she snapped it shut and slid off of her bed, moving to slot the leather bound book back into her mostly-empty bookshelf. Finally the dark fae decided that it was time to explore the house more, she stepped out into the spacious hallway, smiling as she looked first left, and then right, trying to decide which way to walk, wondering if this place was filled with the secret rooms filled with treasures and the odd little nooks and passageways that the Syemv house, she had not been here long enough last time to explore it properly, but now she was interested, curious to know what was what in her new home. The lady began to trot down the hallway slowly, her long fingers trailing over the rough raised pattern of the faded wallpaper, before she stopped, realising that she did not yet know the pack very well and could very likely be wandering close to their bedrooms, she doubted they'd thank her for that, and so she turned back towards the stairs and made her way to them.

push it inShe made her way down them rapidly, assuming that the staircase was as sturdy as the one in the Syemv house had been, when wolves had raced up and down it, throwing their full weight against it and it had withstood it all. These stairs would surely take her rapid, but light tread? They did and the fae reached the ground floor with no trouble. The tall fae stood still for a moment, musing over which way to go, testing the air slightly, now knowing the grandpup's scent well enough to scan the smells twisting in the zephyrs that rolled through the house for them, she couldn't pick them up, but she did catch a vaguely familiar scent. The smell seemed familiar at least, most likely someone she had only met once, or indeed she had just unknowingly crossed paths with once or twice. Slowly she followed the scent, pushing a nearby door open, leaning her head in, peeking around the heavy wood. She smiled at the black fae she saw there, so similar to herself, black fur and green eyes.
"Erm... hello, may I join you?" Soran asked softly.

Whee Big Grin

Despite her lazy body, the girl's mind raced with thoughts. Suddenly Conri crossed her mind and a soft growl came from her throat. She hated the male, more so than she hated the wolf that had sired her. He was a bad person, and had caused a lot of pain, but he had never done anything like what the red male had done. At least not to her knowledge. Unfortunately she knew that he had had reason to be angry. Still, that did not excuse the actions he had taken against Naniko. It still made her sick to her stomach that she had been asleep in her room down the hall while he had attacked her best friend. It was something she probably would never fully forgive herself for. Savina prayed that he was never stupid enough to try and return again. She had held herself back from killing him once, she wasn't sure she could do it again. Now not only was she protecting Nani and the pups, but Kansas as well. There was no doubt in her mind that he would want to harm her mate.

The raven fey was so lost in her own thoughts that she didn't even hear the other lupine enter the room. It was only when she spoke and her voice shattered the silence that she was aware of the presence. Eyes shot open and her head lifted to look at the other woman. They looked almost identical, aside from the other's scars and different necklaces. Savina had scars as well, but they were hidden by her inky pelt. And her necklace was a simple pink shell on a silver chain, while the other wore two that were very different.

A soft smile formed on her face and she nodded her head. "Yes, please take a seat." This wolf looked and smelled somehow familiar to her. She dredged through her mind to try and locate the memory of the near mirror image of herself. "Were...you in Twilight Vale for a time?" Her Italian voice questioned.

Yay threads! I have missed posting XD, sorry if they're really long, I've not written for so long I've gone all rambly...

push it inSoran smiled at the other fae causally, her green eyes noting her appearance carefully, careful to memorise it so that she would be able to put a name to this fae and remember it next time, for she was now sure that she had seen her before at least once and she felt very rude that she had forgotten her. The lady was usually so good with names and faces, she rarely forgot anyone, they were stored with the maps of the land, she had not forgotten them at all, she could still navigate the old 'Souls lands, even though they were a charred shell of their former self. So forgetting something was a shock to her, though the fae was sure that she would not forget this fae again, she was so similar to herself, and there weren't that many green eyed black wolves around the lands as far as she knew, so she wouldn't be hard to spot and greet again at some point.

push it inAs the other fae spoke, Soran entered the room, she bowed her head momentarily, showing respect to the other obsidian female, though she was unsure of her name and her rank Soran was happy to show respect to her. After all this fae had clearly been here longer than her and the obsidian wolfess was a new member, everyone deserved her respect, even if she were to slip up the ranks she would still show everyone respect, that was her way, it was better to be polite and get along with everyone than risk upsetting someone and causing a rift.
"Thank you," She said, crossing the room swiftly and sitting herself down in one of the old, fading armchairs opposite her mirror-image, she was surprised by how comfortable the sagging springs felt in the cushions, she had expected them to dig in through the worn material, but they did not at all. Slowly she relaxed into the chair.

push it inHer ears shifted forwards as she listened to the other fae speak, feeling instantly better that this other obsidian fae did not seem to remember her either, perhaps they had never been formally introduced then, perhaps they had just met in passing once or twice and had never had time to stop and talk. That wasn't so bad, it meant that the dark lady hadn't simply been as rude as to forget the other fae's name.
"I was in Twilight Vale for a breif time, I had come there looking for my children, unfortunately I had to leave rather suddenly, some things came up. I remember you vaguely from that time as well, though I will say I feel rather rude, not knowing your name. I am Soran Aatte, may I ask your name?" Soran asked, her tone relaxed, she was glad to be getting to know her pack mates.

As the other woman bowed her head, Savina dipped her own back. Even though she was the second-in-command, she didn't have any qualms with showing the lower ranked wolves as much respect as they showed her. That was one of the many things that she loved about their pack. They were more of a big family than anything else. Physical shows of respect were always appreciated, but never really required. It made the female much more comfortable with her leadership role. She didn't want her friends to feel like they needed to walk on eggshells around her.

Ah, so this fey had been in Twilight Vale for a time. That made sense. They must have seen each other around the lands, and most likely at one of the pack meetings. The girl was certain that they had never been introduced to one another though. Looking for her children? Which of the pack had been her offspring? At first the surname didn't ring a bell in her head. But then it struck her like a brick. That had been the last name of Khaden, and one of Nani's pups held that name as well. This wolf was Conri's mother. "Oh, don't feel rude. I don't think we were ever introduced. It is good to meet you Soran. My name is Savina Marino." A lump was beginning to form in her throat. She swallowed hard, trying to make it go away. "Are...are you Naniko's pups grandmother?" Savina knew the answer was yes. Did she know what her son had done? Did she know why he wasn't here?

push it inSoran looked around the room, her jade eyes scanning over it casually, she liked what she saw, it was so like the Syemv house, and yet different in many ways, the comfy chairs scattered around the room made it homey, it almost reminded her of her old home, but then she would spy something different, something that would never have had a home in the pirate pack and she would be jolted back into remembering where she was now, not that she minded that, she already loved her new home, the pack seemed nice and it was wonderful to be around her family again. She was beginning to feel like it was home already.

push it inThe fae, Savina spoke again and Soran smiled at her, she seemed nice enough, though just from her name she already knew plenty about her, Naniko had mentioned this fae before, she had mentioned that she was running a pack with her, and that she would be the one to chase Conri out should he ever come near here, this thought made her wince slightly. She flinched at this idea partly because she realised that Savina must have known what Conri had done and that made her uncomfortable, and partially because remembering what her red boy had done to the pale girl, for she knew it was Naniko he had attacked, the way her almost-daughter had avoided her question about it all had proven it to the ebony grandmother, and the idea of him attacking her made her feel sick, her beloved son, a rapist. The very notion that he could have been so cruel to inflict pain and suffering upon someone he loved, after killing his own father after discovering Soran a broken and bloody wreck after he had raped her, the idea was beyond her belief.

push it inAfter seeing the look upon Savina's face Soran realised that she must know who she was as well, of course, she had given her surname to her mirror-image fae, Haven carried that surname, as did Khaden, it was obvious whose mother she must be, after all Conri's brother and son bore her name, it wasn't some random coincidence. The lady's voice was almost stifled for a moment as she tried to reply to the dark fae opposite her, she opened her maw only to find that no sound came out, slowly she raised a hand to her muzzle and let out a small cough, clearing her throat, hoping that she would now be able to reply without any tremors in her voice. She was worried about Savina's response to her answer, after all if she was willing to chase Conri away would she be willing to chase his mother from the lands? Would she fly into a rage and accuse Soran of being a bad mother? Not that that would be a lie, Soran was wracked with guilt for having abandoned her son so often, perhaps it was her fault, having left him unsupervised.
"Yes I am, they're wonderful aren't they?" The lady finally replied, her voice still trembling slightly, nervous, worried, though trying to keep her voice steady, casual.

The tension in the room began to grow thick, and for very different reasons. While the older female was concerned about Savina reacting poorly to the fact that she was Conri's mother, the two-year-old was feeling guilt. It was foolish, after all, the man had deserved the beating he had got from her. But now, being face-to-face with his mother made her stomach turn. It was easy to feel at least alright about it when the only person that was very close to him had been the one he had hurt. The tip of her tail flicked uneasily. She was fairly certain that Soran wouldn't know what she had done to her son, only two people did, but it still worried her.

From the nervousness the other woman was showing, the fey came to the conclusion that she must know what had happened. Did she think that she was in danger here because of the actions of her son? The wolfess hoped that wasn't the case. She hated the red male, but it wasn't anyone's fault but his. A small smile once again cracked her lips. "They are. Wonderful children. You must be proud." Despite all the negative energy in the room, the words she spoke were sincere. It would be good for the little ones to have their grandmother around.

Savina breathed in deeply, trying to steady her nerves. As awkward as this was, as a leader she needed to know what the other knew about the situation. She needed to understand that her son had committed a heinous crime, and while she was welcome here, he was not. And that if he attempted to return that he would be attacked and driven away. In that situation the last thing she would need was a mother trying to protect her rapist son. It would be difficult enough to try and control the monster inside of herself. She prayed it would never happen. "Soran...I know this is difficult, but...do you know why Conri isn't here?"

Eek! So sorry that you've had to wait so long for this reply!

push it inTo say that the atmosphere in the room was awkward was an understatement, it was very clear that the two black females were both worrying about the other's opinions of the red boy that they both knew well. His actions had been unforgivable, this did not stop his dark mother loving him dearly, it would be impossible for her not to, he was her son, her blood and he had been her salvation when she had needed it most, he had been the reason that she had stopped taking the herion that she had found in the station all those years ago, he had been the reason that she had kept living, had kept breathing, had moved on with her life after Summer's death. If the truth be told without her eldest child the dark lady would have let the sorrow and grief have her, if she had not needed to survive so that he would she would have thrown herself into the river not long after her first love, her beautiful pale lady, had died, murdered by Conri's father. Despite his actions, despite that the very idea of him attacking her sweet almost-daughter Naniko made Soran feel physically sick, despite all of this she loved him, she knew that he had done wrong and she understood perfectly that he would not be allowed to come home to her or to his pups or former mate, it was no less than he deserved, but that did not stop her worrying about him, or loving him. She did not want to be hated for what he had done though, she had had no part in that part of his life, that was Hollow's influence she was sure, some latent cruelty gene passed down to her son, she wanted to make herself a life nearby to her grandchildren and their mother, she wanted to care for them and to be a helpful memer of the pack.

push it inThe tense conversation continued as the pair sat, Soran's own tail now flicking slightly with nerves, she smiled as Savina agreed with her. Indeed her grandchildren were fine pups, the ones she had met of them at least, she adored them already, and knew that when she met the others that she'd love them too, they were her blood, as much as Conri was, as much as Dhalia and Khaden and though she had perhaps not cared for her own babes enough, she was sure that she would be here for the little ones, she would be there to support and teach them in a way she never was for their aunt or uncle.
"Yes, they're wonderful, I am very proud of them, I really hope that I can get to know them all better, I really want to be a part of their lives, they seem like such wonderful little wolves, Naniko has raised them well." Soran replied, smiling softly at the thought of the little ones, they were such little glowing lights in the world, they were delightful and Soran had every intention of being around to see them grow up, to watch her family grow.

push it inAnd finally the subject that had caused all of the tension was raised, Soran's stomach dropped to her feet, although she did know and she knew that Savina knew, the subject being broached outloud still made her nervous, it still made her ill to think of it and she had to surpress a wretch as the idea of what her beloved red son had done entered her mind. She sat in silence for a moment, her head bowed, her jade eyes fixed on a spot on the floor, not moving as she studied the patterns in the wood, trying to calm herself, trying to force herself to talk.
"Yes," she finally managed to croak in reply, finally raising her head to look Savina in the eyes, "yes, I know what he has done, and I still don't know how to take it, how he could do that, after knowing the pain it causes after seeing the after effects... How he could do that, he was such a sweet boy..." She replied, her tone wistful now, almost ashamed, she couldn't bear thinking of his actions.

She watched Soran intently as the woman seemed to withdraw into herself as she had asked the question. Really, that simple reaction had told her everything she needed to know. The pause, the sick and ashamed body posture. It all spoke volumes. Only the truth of the matter could have caused such a response. But soon after her words confirmed this. Her heart went out to the dark lady, it obviously caused her such pain. Those the acts were committed against were not the only victims of such crimes. "I'm...sorry." What else could she say? Savina truly felt sorry for Soran, but she could never forgive what had been done. The male deserved whatever ill fate befell him in her eyes.

The girl took a deep breath, hating to drag this out. "I need you to know that he is not welcome here. Will never be welcome here. If he ever attempts to come back again, I will drive him away with whatever means I must take." Her voice was serious and stern. "I need to know that if that were to happen, you will not interfere. I'm not saying that will be easy for you, but surely you understand why." The Lt. General knew what she was asking. That if the situation ever occurred, for Soran to go against every motherly instinct that she had. Promise or not, in the heat of the moment who knew if it would be kept. "Though...I highly doubt he will ever try to come back again..." Or at least I hope not.

push it inSoran retched again, her whole body throwing itself forwards, she managed to stop herself actually being sick, but she could not stop the shaking in her limbs, the way her body convulsed, she stared at the floor again for a moment, her green eyes wandering over the notches and the patterns in the wood, she was trying desperately to calm herself, but she could not get the image of Hollow out of her mind, the way he had attacked her, pinned her against that tree and forced himself upon her, the very he had beaten her, the way she had had to relocate her fingers after that attack, when she had been no more than a crumpled sobbing heap upon the floor. The idea that Conri could have managed to have committed such a crime, the idea that he would have had that look in his eye, the wild evil look of a cruel wolf, the idea that he could behave like that made her feel so ill, she wasn't able to hate him, but she could still be ashamed and somewhat frightened that his father's evil genes had been passed on down to him. Finally she raised her head again as Savina spoke, apologising for what had happened, she did not know why, she was not to blame for his actions, he was the only one accountable for what he had done.
"Don't apologise, it's not your fault." She replied, her voice hoarse as she fought to control her reactions.

push it inAnd then her mirror image began to speak again, this time more seriously, she spoke of how he was not welcome here, the lady knew this, Naniko had made it perfectly clear, and that knowledge killed her, that what he had done, his stupid violent actions had ruined his chances of being happy, being with the wolves that he loved, knowing his pups. The idea that he would not be there for his children as she had not been there for Khaden and Dhalia, that killed her, especially as she knew the effect that that had upon them, Khaden had never forgiven her, not really, he had been cold and confused towards her everytime they had met, and Dhalia, Dhalia had become a cruel twisted creature, bent on destroying everything around her, not caring who she hurt in her quest of violence. She didn't want that for her grandchildren, though she doubted that any of them would turn out like that, not with Naniko as their mother, not with this pack around them, still the idea that he had lost them all forever killed her.

push it inSavina asked her something that she could never promise then, she asked her not to get involved should anything bad happen to her son. It was true that the lady would indeed happily stand by if they just asked him to leave, if they convinced him to go without force, but should they attack him she did not know how she would act, when the coyotes had attacked her pack all those months ago she had fought to protect him, she had bared her teeth and claws and torn chunks from whichever one of them got near to her, got near to her packlands where Conri was. Her motherly instincts had blinded her against any other issue, even her own life.
“Savina, you must understand that Conri is very important to me, he is my son, despite all that he has done, despite how disgusted I am the very idea that he would do anything like that, even though I doubt I'll ever be able to forgive him, I love him. He was there for me when I needed him most, he was my reason for living, after Summer” She paused, realising that she'd need to explain who she was, the older wolves would have known her straight away, she was well known, but Savina would have never met her. "My first mate, when she was murdered, I was ready to die, had I not have found out I was pregnant with him, I would have let myself just wither away, he was my salvation. I would happily help you convince him to leave the lands, I would even escort him away myself, so long as the warnings were verbal I would stand by. But should you attack him, though I doubt it would take that much to make him leave, I do not know how I would react, I would try, I would honestly try to stand by, but I would need to protect my son if it looked like he was going to be killed or wounded badly. I promise to try and stand by, that is all I can do, I honestly don't know how I'd react, for all I know if I ever see him again I'll attack him myself, the very thought of him makes me feel sick." She replied, struggling with the words, but trying to be as honest as possible, she hoped that Savina would understand, she did not want to put her grandchildren in any danger, though she doubted Conri would be any threat to them, she did not want to betray her pack or Naniko, but she knew that she would still see him through the rose-tinted glasses of motherhood, her love was unconditional, she was so close to hating him, but still she loved him.

Savina's going to kinda sorta admit her hulkness to Soran. This is a big deal. :o

The response from the woman was really no different than she had expected it to be. Conri was a monster, but Soran was his mother. She had given him life, raised him and loved him. And she was asking her to stand back and not try to protect him if he were being attacked. It was a ludicrous request, Savina knew that. But she couldn't push the image of the male covered in Naniko's blood from her head. The gruesome sight of her battered and broken friend. It brought a small growl from her throat, though obviously not on directed at Soran, as her eyes were not focused on anything. They stared off into nothingness as her mind replayed those horrible scenes in her head.

But she shook her head, bringing herself back to the present conversation. "I...know what I ask is nearly impossible. We are looking at this from two very different perspectives and neither of them are wrong. I thank you for what support you can give in this matter, I truly do. And trust me, if it were to happen, the last thing I want is for things to resort to violence. I am not a violent wolf by nature." She looked up into the matching green gaze. "But you need to know that your son isn't always who he used to be. I don't know what happened to him...but when he did that to Nani he wasn't the Conri anyone knew. He was mad, and he was dangerous. I don't believe he is always like that now, but I have no doubt he could turn at any moment." Even though she hadn't witnessed his madness first hand, she knew it was there, lurking beneath the surface. Perhaps it was easier for her to recognize because of the demon that lived inside of her.

"Even though I never want things to resort to violence there is...a part of me that I can't always control." Savina had no idea why she was admitting this to the female, barely anyone knew about her problem. "And if I lose control...I am not myself. The anger I harbor for your son tends to evoke that kind of response in me. When I see him all I can think about is what he did...how Nani looked..." Her voice trailed off, once again temporarily losing herself in her mind. Whenever she had lost control she had been facing an enemy, but what if someone else was around? Would she recognize them? Recognize the fact that they were not a foe? The girl had no idea and that was what terrified her. "I just...don't want to hurt anyone..."

So sorry for the wait, Christmas has been hectic. And yes, wow this is a big deal indeed SmileSmile

pushitinThe growl that eminated from the mirror-image fae snapped Soran from her reverie, she had fallen back into the lull of her own dark thoughts, the morbid ones that she often tried to push into a dark corner of her mind and leave them there, but recently, once she knew what she had done, and what Conri had done, they had resurfaced. Hollow danced through her mind, dislocating her fingers, tearing the tip of her ear off, leaving a scar that would always ache in the cold, even to this very day, bruising her ribs, forcing himself upon her and impregnanting her with pups that she would ultimately abandon and cause all sorts of mental trauma to by doing so. The very notion that Conri could be so cruel would sicken her forever, even if he had blessed her with such wonderous grandchildren, even though she knew that he was not truely the violent rapist that everyone seemed to think he was, it would still haunt her that her son, her offspring had followed in the footsteps of his father and that she was powerless to help him. That was her second child to fall prey to their father's genes, Dhalia was just as insane as he had been, the cruel glint in her blue eyes had proven that much, and now Conri had done this, how long was it until Khaden fell as well? The ebony lady hated herself, she should have been there more, she should have imprinted herself more strongly on her children...

pushitinThe ebony lady remained silent as Savina spoke, nodding slowly at some parts, especially the part about Conri no longer being the wolf that she had known, that was perhaps the most true thing that Savina had said yet, it couldn't have bene him at all, she doubted if she'd seen him then that she would have even recognised him, even with his red pelt, she would have bet anything in the world that his eyes had not been his own, as his actions would not have been him either. She wondered if he was still the same, if he had developed the giggling madness that his sister had, if his eyes were Hollow's and not his own now, just like Dhalia, secretly she hoped that he was stronger than his red sister, she hoped that he was fighting the cruelty and the bad sides of his personality as fiercly as she would have. But she felt that Savina was wrong, if any part of him was still the Conri that Soran had known then he would not just snap and turn to violence as soon as he stepped into the lands, he would be filled with guilt and sorrow, with self hatred.
"I am not sure that he would turn at any moment, even if there is just a shadow of him left inside whatever it is that he has become he will be somewhere loathing himself for what he has done. Though I have not seen him in a long while, perhaps he is just a monster now, but I have to believe that there is part of him that is still good, that he isn't going to fall into the trap of being like his father.” The obsidian grandmother replied, her tone serious as she mused over what she now knew and what she had always known. Of course everyone would assume that this monster that had raped Nani was the real Conri, none of them had known the Conri that Soran had, the tiny babe who was so curious about the world, the carefree child, she doubted that even sweet Naniko remembered that far back.

pushitinAgain Savina spoke and Soran was amazed by her openess, after all despite the fact that she herself was often very honest and open with her friends and packmates, she didn't expect everyone else to be. And to admit to having such a secret, a monster hiding beneath the surface was indeed one of those things that wolves kept secret, the dark fae was glad that her mirror image was glad to share such information with her.
"Thankyou for being so honest with me, should I ever see him around the lands I shall escort him away as quickly as I am able, I don't want the pack in any danger in case he is indeed some monster now, which is possible I suppose, I wouldn't want him to snap and hurt someone else, least of all Naniko or the pups. And I wouldn't want you to hurt anyone and then have to live with the guilt, trust me, losing your control, even for a moment and really hurting someone is something that is hard to live with, I would not wish that upon you at all. Thankyou for being so honest with me, I appreciate that you feel able to tell me about your issues with anger management, if you ever need anyone to speak to about it, I will be more than happy to listen Savina." Soran replied, more confident now, after all Savina hated her son, not her, and she was a likeable wolf, she was honest and only worried about her packmates, and if Soran could help her get her anger under control then perhaps her son would be more safe as well as Savina being happier.

End after your next post? Seems like a good place to me.

Perhaps Soran was right. That night, he had asked her to kill him. Though admittedly at the time she had thought it was a trap. At the end of their encounter she almost had. His throat had been bare beneath her teeth. Thank the heavens she had come to her senses. The sable girl didn't think she could live with the knowledge that she had taken a life. Not even his. At least not in a situation such as that. Maybe if she had been fighting him, defending Nani, Kansas or the pups from him. Then maybe. But that had no been the situation and she hoped that such a situation would never arise. But Savina only nodded her head at the mother. Admitting her faults in a broad sense was one thing, but talking about attacking the woman's son was not something she could do.

Her lips formed a smile at Soran's response to her admission. For some reason she hadn't been as nervous admitting it to her as she was with some. Maybe it was because this was their first formal meeting, and she had few preconceived notions about her. The thing that usually scared her the most was losing worth in someone's mind. Maybe since she didn't hold a specific place in the Basic Officer's it didn't frighten her as much. "And I thank you. Not only for your help, but for your open mindedness. It...is not something I readily admit most times. I don't wish for me to be thought in such a way, for that is not who I am." Her head nodded. "Yes, thank you. If I ever need to talk I will keep that in mind. It is very kind of you to offer." It might not have been the outcome she had at first expected or wanted, but that was fine. This compromise was probably in the best interest of all involved.

Savina stood up on the sofa and stretched out her limbs, mouth opening wide in a yawn. The wolfess jumped from the cushions and shook out her pelt, looking back at Soran. "Well, I suppose I should go see to the borders. I'm very glad that we had this talk. If you ever need anything just ask. I reside in one of the upstairs rooms."

So sorry for the wait on this! And yes, this seems a good place to end this.

pushitinSoran watched as the lady rose, smiling slightly that the girl was happy to accept the offer of help that the dark fae placed before her. She did not want Conri to be harmed, least of all by this fae, but that did not mean that she would hold a grudge or any hatred for her mirror image, after all she was her packmate, and she was only defending those she loved. Soran knew what it was like to defend those she loved, she remembered the great fight between Aremys and the Inferni, she had fought bravely then for her son, she had bitten, clawed and thrown the coyotes out of her way, she had barely been herself at that moment, so she knew what it was like to let the viper take over and fight battles. Luckily for the ebony huntress her warrior side stayed well hidden, it was controlled and easily quashed, she did not need to fear it as her dark companion did.

pushitin The obsidian lady nodded as Savina spoke of having to go and see to the borders, that was not unexpected, after all each wolf had pack duties that they had to attend to, whether it be cooking a meal for everyone to share or patrolling the lands, making sure that there were no lost newcomers or indeed unwanted guests on the lands. With this thought the dark grandmother shivered slightly, wondering if Conri would be foolish enough to wander into the lands and end up being confronted by Savina, every inch of her prayed that he would not come here, she loved him dearly and did not want to see him hurt, no matter what he had done, he was still her son.
"I shall hopefully see you around the lands Savina, remember my door is always open... And Savina... if you happen to come across Conri, please don't attack him straight away... call for me please, I am sure that I'd be able to move him away from the lands, not that I think he'd be foolish to come here after what he has done.” The fae spoke, posing the request carefully, wanting to avoid any bloodshed, especially when the blood was hers, well mostly.

Savina nodded her head back at the older woman. At the very least she would try. She didn't want bloodshed either after all, if it could be avoided. She hoped that the red man would never come back, especially after the last time he tried. But if he did, and he tried anything, she would spare any hesitation to do what she needed to do to protect the pack. "I will. Unless by chance the situation is dire, I will call for you. But if I find him doing something I can't keep that promise. I hope for everyone's sake that that never happens though." There was a gentle but firm weight behind her words. "I will see you later Soran. Have a good day." With that the slender girl exited the room.
