OoC: Snow 8O

IC:
A crisp breeze whistled through the bare trees and the lady’s dark fur, causing her to shiver and puff up slightly. Her deep red eyes gazed up at the cloudy, gray sky as a few tiny flakes of snow touched her black nose. Garnet was wandering in hear new pack’s territory, no longer was she a straggler. It felt good to have someplace she finally belonged, wandering in and out of the territory before had made her slightly uneasy, and this way she had an excuse to be close to Jaz… all the time. Still, she wondered about eh other members of the pack because, save for Naniko and Salem, she hadn’t met any of Jaz’s pack-mates.

The dark coyote walked through the light snow, hands under her arms to keep them warm. She recalled Jaz’s short, brown leg coverings and now realized why he must wear them, other than obscuring her view of his sweet ass. Garnet glanced about and shivered slightly, wondering if she would be any warmer if she switched to another form. She had no idea and would rather just keep walking to keep her warmth, and so she did. Paw prints trailed behind her as she softly crunched through the frozen land.

Yay! Snow Smile

push it inSoran nudged the door to the manor open carefully, trying to only open it as much as she needed to get herself out of the house. The roaring fire that she had left blazing in the hearth in the living room was warming up the house nicely, spreading heat through the rooms, she didn't want the freezing breeze outside to blow through the door and ruin all of her good work, she didn't want all the warmth in the house to be stolen by the chilled winter day. And so she opened the door the tinest amount she could and squeezed herself through it, closing it again rapidly behind her. Tiny flakes of snow billowed around her as she stepped out onto the wooden porch, one landing on the very tip of the ebony lady's black nose, she stuck her long tongue out quickly and licked it away, smiling at the wintery day, thinking of how beautiful it would be when these flakes setlled and built up drifts and hills around the place, she was already looking forwards to playing in the snow with her grandchildren, she would teach them how to walk in adult wolves footsteps to stop themselves sinking and how to dig through the snow and make little trails.

push it inThe jade eyed lady smiled as she thought of her grandchildren, her young grandsons were the only two that she had met, but already she loved them dearly, and was sure that she would love the girls just as much. Slowly she made her way down the porch steps, leaping neatly from the last one, enjoying the way the snow crunched beneath her feet. She rubbed her dark hands together, folding her arms across her chest to keep herself warm as she walked through the lands, slowly she began, kicking the snow up as she walked, smiling as the flurries were caught in the wind and blew around the lands again, catching in the zephyrs and flitting around.

push it inShe was in an unusually good mood as she walked, enjoying the snow greatly as she padded through it, even though her dreams were still dark and disturbing, even though the images of her dead son still danced through her head whilst she slept, even though Hollow's laughing face still haunted her, her good mood could not be dampened. She hummed to herself casually as she walked, her head bowed as she focused on the snow, it was lucky that she raised her head when she did, otherwise she would have walked straight into a dark wolf who she did not recognise.
“Oh I'm sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going.” She said quickly, stopping her bouncy walk as quickly as she could, coming to a neat stop. As she looked at this other fae she realised that she really did have no idea who she was, perhaps she was a packmate that the ebony fae had not yet met? Else she was a stranger who might be lost, either way Soran was sure that she could be of some assistance, the fae looked cold.
"Erm... are you a member of this pack?" She asked, unsure if that was the correct thing to do.

IC:
Garnet was too focused on the ground before her to worry about anything like, oh, say, wolves walking around. The dark coyote almost had a collision with the other black canine and took a double take of the female. She realized just how many black or darkly colored wolves and coyotes there were in the lands, and for a second she wondered if someone might confuse one of them with her and be hurt. The female shook off the silly idea, of course no one would mistake any normal wolf with a lanky, slender muzzled coyote like herself, no matter the fur hue.

The red-eyed girl was somewhat startled by the fact that the other was both apologizing after they nearly hit each other and had to stop herself from bouncing. The other female was, apparently, in a good mood despite the cold and wind. At the fae’s unsure question, Garnet smiled and held out a paw for the other to shake. It was a curious gesture but the coyote felt it appropriate in this instance. ”Oh, yes, I’m sorry. My name is Garnet, pleased to me you.”
