His words reassured her and she didn’t find any reason to refute them. Instead Ryan took comfort in his touch and consoling presence, and nodded in response. She knew he was right and there was nothing more. They could be happy together – just he and her. It didn’t require the approval or love of anyone else; just her and DaVinci for as long as he would have her. "Show me the rest of Phoenix Valley," she insisted lovingly of him. Though she did want to see the rest of the tranquility his home had to offer, it was just another excuse to allow the two to be alone and enjoy each other’s company (hopefully) away from prying eyes.
