Haku-face! You has permission to take this in any direction. C:
Dated after Cer-Haku thread.

Night. The wintery sky was free of clouds, for once - the stars shone clearly down to sparkle on the frozen snow. Colibri Haki appreciated the solitude that darkness could offer, but the beauty of the icy reflections was not lost on her wondering eyes. Her bright blue gaze wandered the January landscape, the abandoned buildings of Berwick visible on the horizon. The place she was wandering, all collapsing wooden frames and dead vines, must have been a vineyard at one point, but had fallen into extreme disuse. The werewolf fondled a frozen tendril, considering nursing the grapes back to health when the land thawed. She shook her head, though - these were the tough wild variety. They wouldn't need any help returning from the grave. Besides, grapes held little interest to her - they were no danger whatsoever.

Letting her mind wander as she stepped aimlessly along, Coli thought of the women she had met so far. Firefly and Svara at the borders, then Cercelee; then, more recently, Mew Sadira and Alexey Koios. They were all so different from each other - it fascinated the shy werewolf, meeting these new people. Firefly terrified her, of course, but she longed to meet her new brothers, to play some part in their lives as a big sister. In a pack setting, would they have a better chance at growing up normally? Would their packmates all step in to impart morals, to keep them grounded as regular wolves? She knew she was Haku's best-kept secret, but now that she was here, she could protect her newborn siblings from the abuse she had suffered, and be the buffer between the Lilium and Rosea.

"...And that's about all I can hope for," she murmured sadly, settling down gracefully onto a flat boulder at the border of the vineyard. Her thin Optime coat did little to protect her from the chill night air, but she resisted the urge to shiver. Being thrust into the machinations of a large family-oriented pack was disorienting, to say the least. She couldn't curb her cowardice. She belonged at the bottom of this pack, where they could all look down on her, and treat her like the worthless, sniveling, gardener she was. If it was just her and Cercelee, like the golden days of her childhood... Maybe then she could start to heal, start to regain her strength. Under all the critical eyes of her new 'comrades', though... and constantly avoiding the fleeting scent and looming cabin of the man she wanted nothing more to do with... it was hard to find any courage at all.

That fucking little bitch. It was in the middle of the night, and he was her incoming nightmare, only for real yet again. A year had passed, but she had to come to ruin his life even further. He had wandered around the whole day trying to find her. He would not howl and demand her presence, because he did not want everyone to know that they would meet up. He did not want the little female to know it either before he was over her and there were no exits. He cherished the dark, and it was too good to be true when he finally managed to catch her scent. Moving in the direction of the scent, his tongue brushed sharp pointed teeth, hungry for that red liquid.

Avsnitt
Haku was a wonderful stalker. As a head scout of the pack, nothing less could be expected. The dark shadow moved quietly without a sound, using the darkness as shelter. Her scent was strong, and soon she would too pick up a very familiar scent. Father and daughter would be reunited at last. Dried blood still clung to his fur from the numerous cuts inflicted by the idiotic cotton ball (he was picking up Svara’s vocabulary). He stalked closer, making his way in-between frozen vegetation. He made sure to make random sounds, stepping on frozen twigs or leaf. Cercelee was not here now, and Coli would be all alone with her worst nightmare.

Avsnitt
He slowly stalked closer, making sure she knew he was coming. A sound here, a brief movement in the vegetation there. He was still in his halfling form, letting his injuries grow nicely. She could not escape on her two legs, not from this form. He wanted to smell her fear. He wanted her heartbeats to reach his ears before he was all over her.

A small sound interrupted her peaceful musing. Her pointed ears pricked up, swiveling to pinpoint the location. There it was again - something rustling in the frozen vineyard, hidden from her view by the frost-rimed leaves of the grapevines. Coli bit her lip, rising slowly from the boulder where she had been resting. Was it a deer? Most prey had already bedded down for the night - birds, rabbits, that sort of thing. It sounded too large to be a mouse, or even an owl... Rubbing her arms around her midsection in the frigid air, Coli stood on her tip-toes, trying to peer over the plant cover to make out a shape. Half-heartedly, she called out softly, "...Is anybody out..."

And then the scent hit her, paralyzing her, flooding her with terror. Haku, Haku, Haku, he was out there and he was coming for her. The fur down her spine prickled and rose, her blue eyes round as saucers. He had found out she was here. He didn't want her here. Snapping her muzzle shut abruptly, Coli scrabbled against the ice, struggling to flee. All of her hollow words, her promises to be brave and protect those she cared about - that was forgotten in a flash as she panicked. She knew she couldn't outrun him, could never escape him, but all her shaky thoughts could muster was the fervent wish to disappear, that he would give up and not hurt her again. The wild hammering of her heart, the ragged gasps for air, the desperate pounding of her footpaws against the snow seemed to echo in the deafening silence. Her voice had completely failed her - even if she thought to scream for help, she couldn't muster more than a terrified squeak. Oh gods, she had been right about him all along - he was going to string her entrails up like those coyotes he'd gutted, turn her into his most tortured piece of artwork yet...

Title reminds me of Gollum 8D 300+

Avsnitt
His senses sharpened and reached an almost unnatural level as the peaceful woman noticed there was something not right. Curiosity seemed to radiate from her at first, and he watched her stand on her toes, trying to figure out what was the source of sound. She even called out, but the beast remained silent. Then it hit her like a truck, and something inside him stirred and awoke. His ears flattened instantly as he heard his own growl rise in his throat. This was not a good sign, but he felt more alive than he had in months. The woman with the same pelt as her sire broke into a blind run, and even from distance he could smell the air of blind horror. Good.

Avsnitt
A loud snarl sounded in the air as he broke into an instant chase. A grin quickly flashed across the Lilium’s face before lips moved to fully reveal his fangs. He reduced the distance between them with a powerful burst of power, and her fear lay like a thick trail of colour. The Sadira man allowed himself to stay straight in her tail for a little bit, just to extend the panic. Then he lashed out at her, determined to knock her off her feet so that he could do what he came here to do. He did not snap at her or lash out with his black talons. Instead, he tried to knock her out of balance with a tackle.

Avsnitt
"Thought I wouldn't find you?!" He growled out with pure evil in a rough voice. He should have finished her back then, oh, why hadn’t he. This had been a lesson to him. Always finish it off yourself. He would make sure not to do same mistake twice. Coli too seemed to have realized.

Ha ha, that's where I got it... xD Random inspiration of the day...

She was nothing more than prey, reeking of fear and too blinded by it to even watch where she was going. At least a scared little rabbit would duck and weave, searching for cover. She simply ran, ran, in a straight line, streaming hair glinting by the light of the stars. As his unmistakable snarl erupted behind her, in an explosion of snow and leaves, Coli made a strangled cry, a wordless yell choked by her own paranoia. She could hear his heavy footsteps, effortlessly closing the distance, imagining his hot breath materializing on the back of her neck. Could she make it to Berwick in time, slam on the locked doors, beg for anyone's mercy? Firefly and Svara had promised that he wouldn't hurt her, they had promised, why did he betray their trust -

Stars burst before her eyes as his weight slammed into her, sending her tumbling face-first into the snow. Stunned momentarily, Coli listened dizzily as her father growled his challenge, voice rough with fury and hatred. She struggled to right herself, to put any kind of distance between them. She realized unluckily that the impact with the ice had cut her lip open, and she hurried to wipe the trickle of blood away before the horrible predator noticed it.

"No, no, I came here, I found you," Coli moaned, clutching her face as she tried to scoot away from the imposing masculine figure. What kind of an idiot came crawling back to the predator, after he thought she was dead already? She had been safe in her anonymity, and now without a false name or anything, she had waltzed into the pack he ruled... Cercelee was nowhere to be seen on this night, and she'd probably never see her again. His musky scent, all around her, sent her spiraling into a flashback that violently turned her stomach, and she lurched to one side, abruptly vomiting onto the snow.

Hah, awesome 300+

Avsnitt
He had slammed into her slightly harder than intended, and she was sent tumbling into the cold ground. Part of him cheered, but there was a battle going in his head. The male shook his head and advanced. The girl quickly forced her body to get out of the stun, and she crawled backwards desperately. The scent of fresh blood tickled his nostrils, a smell he cherished way too much. Moving towards her with blood and fear in the air, the male had not felt like this since the start of the Inferni war when he had slain the two coyotes and created something beautiful. His ears ignored his daughter’s words. It did not make any sense. She had turned around and fled the moment his scent exposed him, and he did not understand why she would come back to find him. Here he was, there she was. And she was running away.

Avsnitt
He was almost over her again when she vomited, and he withdrew slightly, letting it be a few feet distance between them. He mentally whipped himself. He had wanted to scare her, but she had been accepted into Dahlia, and thus he could not touch her. Well, he could, but he would not, because he had pledged loyalty to the pack, and Coli was a member now if he liked it or not. He didn’t. He was truly a monster. He wronged her repeatedly, and now after she had worked up the nerve to join the pack where her rapist father lived. And now he did it again, destroyed her mentally. She had once loved him. What had made it all go so wrong. Why had he done it.

Avsnitt
"Relax, I’m not here to execute you." He spat, and sounded much more controlled than he was, but there was a storm raging in his head, but it would all go unnoticed, because he knew how to strip his body clean of emotions. Still, the rage in his voice was not covered up, because he was still enraged about her return. And, she spoke so freely of what he had done, and dirtied the already horrible image of him. He did not appreciate that. He would rather have seen her dead and gone. When he had broken her spirit more than a year ago, it had turned her from a daughter he cared for (at least somewhat) to just another victim. There was no love between them any longer, and because of his deeds, there would never be again.

She waited for the raking claws, the snapping fangs, the immutable strength, but... the pain did not come. Shaking from head to toe, Coli wiped her mouth clean, daring to sneak a glance at the man towering over her. He took several steps back as she stared with wide eyes, the darkness and illusion seeming to lessen as the starlight illuminated his body. He had more scars than she'd remembered; crossing up his wrists, and one ugly wound down his chest, crossing from one side to the other. There were fresh cuts, too; small scrapes that must have been recently inflicted, though Coli did not know from who or why. He wasn't fully shifted, she realized, seeing the hard muscles rippling beneath the bulky "halfling" form he had invented. She was transfixed, staring speechlessly at the nightmare that had sought her out from the darkness. She had almost forgotten what he really looked like, relying on her own reflections to remind her. Haku Soul was terrifying in person.

He spoke then; his voice an angry snarl, contradicting the words he spat. Coli hesitantly pulled her snow-encrusted legs to her chest, sitting in a defensive curl. She was utterly helpless - why did he need to spin his spider's web of words, luring her into trusting those beautiful blue eyes? When he didn't hoist her up by her hair and demand her to quit the pack, she blurted out the first thought that returned to her panicked mind. "Auntie Mew said you were sorry you hurt me." She swallowed hard, her voice hoarse from the scare. She felt a strange sense of satisfaction, though - everyone she had met here in Dahlia had told her Haku had changed, he was different, he could be trusted. Mew loved him unconditionally, to the point where she had asked Coli not to tell her how he had wronged her, so that she could preserve her illusion. Cercelee had explained that the Lilium was more loyal to their pack than his own agenda, and she trusted him with her life. Even Firefly had said that she would die defending Haku, believing that it would be a vengeful Coli striking the first blow. But... they were all wrong. He hadn't changed; he had just gotten better at hiding his madness. At the very least, she understood the monster... After all, there was a chance of her going down the same path. A chance that was increasing by every moment he terrorized her.
Her blue eyes were cold, hard, chips of ice as she glared at him, daring him to reply. She didn't know where this night would take her, whether he would decide killing her would be worth the penalty after all, or whether they could reach some uneasy truce. She would keep her brothers safe, if she could. Or was it only females that set off his temper? Coli sucked on her lip, sucking the blood from the small cut as she glared defiantly, her cowardly courage returning little by little.

He took time to study the long lost daughter. So alike, such delicate blue eyes and the slightly unusual colour of warm brown. She brought back memories he had hoped never do dig into again. The small part of him that could still feel again felt a vague regret for ruining his first born daughter’s life. She pulled her slender legs close up to her body, but she did not desperately crawl in blind fear anymore, and therefore his large frame slightly relaxed. If she just could have shut her goddamn mouth, then they would not have had such a rough start. He did not know his daughter as he used to, but he had a nasty feeling she would share the horrible info with everyone who cared and more. He had knocked her confidence and bravery away, but was it possible she still had it and tried to punish him by revealing his most ugly act as of yet for the pack?

Avsnitt
They both waited for something to happen before Coli broke and spoke. He mentally frowned by the –ie added on the Aunt part, She sounded like a little child. So Mew had already met her. Goddamn, fuck. Haku’s gaze darkened slightly if still possible. Vomit stung in his nostrils. Haku had not changed, not really. Much had been rearranged up in his head, but the core was the same poisonous venom. This place was making him better in many ways, learning to control his impulses and killings. It kept him in line. It gave the male further mental issues and aching of many kinds, it made him miserable. It still worked, that was why it was worth it. He watched as she sucked her bloody lip and stared at him, remembered one time long ago when he had smacked her so hard that it had burst open and leaked like a small stream.

Avsnitt
"Full of stories, that auntie Mew. " He pressed out between slightly parted jaws. He could not rage about Mew’s treason because the pale sister of his was not aware that she had done something horrible. It was true though, his sane part did regret that he had hurt her, and the little locked up child would always cry in misery as the bad flashes of images flashed about inside his skull. Still the demon controlled everything, but not while it slept. "Why are you here?" Such questions were bound to come. His guess was that it was a heroic attempt to come save Cercelee from his madness blah blah blah go cry in a corner emo girl.

Avsnitt
He took a threatening step forward, a silent warning not to try anything if she wanted to get up from that floor ever. This was the only opportunity the male would grant himself. Cercelee was sure to hear about this, because his daughter was a little child, running to the one in charge to vent about those horrible boys that called her name and pushed her. After everything he had done for this fucking pack, and Cercelee still strode about and believed she was a righteous Goddess. He was disappointed with the leader. What he had done was horrible, but he had been her faithful Lilium for a long time now, and he had given her proof of his dedication to both her and this pack. He had changed, he was calm, and he did a good job. Yet, when the ugly past had been proved (and he knew Cercelee always had her own idea of what had happened) and the lost girl was back, she went bananas.

Avsnitt
He knew some of the scars would not fade to nothing. Cercelee had given him constant reminders of her childish rage because of something he had done in the past. The urge to go after the Rosea one day was present, but right now there was nothing to do. He would not be fucked about any longer though, and if Cercelee did not get it, then he would make that clear. She expected fucking respect and loyalty? Then she had to give him the same thing. He had given up his old ways for her, while all he had received was suspicion, doubt and now physical marks.

I have no life; that's how I've been pulling it off lately. xD Rambling post!

He sneered at her, emphasizing the childish title she had blurted. It wasn't like she had expected him to break down and apologize to her, saying that Mew had been telling the truth; still, the mocking tone stung her, just as Svara had done at the borders. Full of stories, yes, her aunt was the one full of stories. Smoldering silently behind her glittering gaze, Coli remained on the snowy ground as he took a threatening pace forward. What, was he going to step on her? She was still a hypocrite, though, unable to spit the venomous taunts aloud. She could merely imagine his face when she learned how to mouth off again...

"...You want to know why I came here, Father?" she hissed, her voice low and soft. He could growl and shout all he wanted; she wasn't going to raise her voice. Besides, her throat burned with bile, rendering her tones hoarse and weak. "I got word of a new pack, one that Cercelee was in charge of. I heard that she got to boss you around, and I wanted to see that in person." Of course that was bravado, or else she wouldn't have panicked at the sight of him, but she assumed the loss of control would rankle the aggressive man. Everyone had told her he had stayed here for a long time - something that was against his wild and vicious nature. She felt a sick thrill, being able to stare into those mirror-pool eyes so much like her own. Would her own countenance radiate hatred and insanity when she reached his age? By herself, she was calm, gentle, even hopeful for her future. When threatened, though, as she felt now, there was something... unpleasant, that began to stir in her defense. It was nothing she could mention to Cercelee, or Mew, or Alexey, or any of the pure-hearted women that had welcomed her with open arms. If anyone could tell her how to stop it from turning her to the darkness, well... it would have to be Haku himself.

Once again her eyes strayed to the fresh gouges marring her sire's rugged frame. Maybe they were a gift from the capricious Firefly, after she toddled home with Svara? Knowing that he was restraining himself from slaughtering her because of his duties gave her a small safety net, enough for her to mutter, "Did you even plan on taking a mate, or did you get forced to when you found out she was knocked up?"

So short and crappy, so so sorry!

Father and daughter stared at each other, both with the same intensive blue in their gaze. Hers had yet to become as corrupted as his, but Haku had always silently wondered if his spawn would inherit the sickening corruption that his mother had unleashed in him many years ago. He cocked his head slowly as the smaller female hissed at him. It was the wrong time to try to wind him up. She was immune to death here, but Haku could easily turn this to his favour and discipline her for disrespecting a higher ranked wolf. Yeah, that would be reason enough. Haku did not mind Cercelee run the pack, because he knew that if he had been in the charge, he would have lead them to their doom in his lust for blood.

He continued to stare at her until she came with her question. Or, it was nothing more than a silent mutter. I need her to be there to take care of the kids until they are old enough to.. his face twisted into something slightly more horrible. .. be of use. The tone in his voice would leave her with no doubt. What he had done with her could be done again. With some imagination, gender did not have to matter much.

No worries; hope you have fun while you're out~!

Haku Soul silently tilted his head, studying her like a vengeful god deciding a punishment for his wayward sovereigns. She really couldn't control the shaking her body did when his dark eyes roamed it, the feeling that everything she had done to keep herself together was being forced effortlessly to the surface for him to pick apart. Coli gritted her chattering teeth and forced her wobbly legs to stand, meeting him eye to eye. She knew she was not intimidating whatsoever, nor did she hope to be. It was just better than groveling at his feet - it reminded her too much of how he had left her the first time. She would have forgiven him, had he stayed to take care of her. If he had said he was sorry, he didn't mean it. She had still trusted him, even then, knowing it wasn't a side of his mind he could stop. Was that so wrong? But to be left alone in the darkness, to cry herself to sleep because she couldn't stand up... how miserable. She blamed him for that, and as the winter chill bit through her thin fur, she knew she'd dreamed of leaving him the same way.

...'be of use', did he say? Be of what use? Was he actually planning to corrupt his own children? Coli felt her innards squirm, threatening to heave again, although she had nothing left to regurgitate. She barely ate as it was. At least in the case of her assault, it had been an accident, right? A crime of passion, so to speak. A mistake that had ruined her life as she knew it. "...I... I won't let you hurt those boys," she gasped, trying not to cower from the blows she expected to rain down on her. Haku brought out the worst in her. "They... they have the right to be normal. They have a chance-!" Her voice was pleading, as though she was the mother trying to protect them. Did Firefly give a rat's ass about them? She had no idea, only that the golden-fire Sadira was too frightening to approach. Alexey had the right idea, trying to spend as much time with them as she could. And Coli longed to accompany her on her Caregiver duties, but fear held her back as always. Could any of Haku's children really be normal? She desperately wanted to believe so.

Haku was not being a good boy today. Oh, no. The worst part (and he knew it so fucking well) was that he actually had no reason to treat her like this, no matter how much Cercelee had beaten him up, no matter what. Thankfully he was too full of himself to fully grasp the horrible mistake he was committing right here and now. Throwing dangerous and dark spores at his own flesh and blood would never do any good. Colibri Haki was probably here to stay, and he would just have to accept that. The best thing would be to try to recover as much as they could from whatever they had shared together as a normal father and daughter as possible, but it was way too late, and his acting now only increased the intensity of the flames that was ruining the bridge that had separated them many months ago. He watched his daughter's emotional pain when the hidden meaning of his words fully kicked in. They were both thinking the same, and he knew that he was throwing her into the nightmare all over again. The sad part was that all in all, Haku had no proper reason to be enraged about his firstborn daughter's return. He had twisted it into something uglier than it in reality was, because it threatened his position here in the lands even further. The Lilium had no reason to punish her, because what goes up must come down, and Haku was merely drowning in his own garbage.

The man hated his twisted personality. Sometimes he did not think things through. He was a man of actions, living in the presence. He always had been, and that was what made these scenes so horrible. The monster in him recognized the little doll that he had raped using Haku's body. There were no excuses, because Haku did not experience blackouts when the demon took control of his body. He was aware of his split personalities, because the core of him was almost always present when the different Hakus (and the demon itself) presented themselves. He was just as guilty as the monster for ruining his (at that time) only daughter. Of course he would not allow his mistakes to be repeated. The two of them had lived alone after Cercelee had left their lives, but now he was surrounded by dozens of other canines. Now he had a home, a mate, and other wolves that he might even dare to call friends. He could not rage and burn villages as he pleased. Not anymore. The beast was not tamed, but it would do what was necessary to stay alive. He did not know for how long, but he knew that he could not throw it all away. He had swore himself to Cercelee and this pack, and Haku never lied, not directly. Dahlia de Mai was safe from his wrath, because he was incapable of hurting it.

He finally sighed as his daughter's pleading voice rose in the chilly air. He did not know how to handle this girl any longer. Should he scare her away and make sure they would never cross paths again except for official pack meetings, or should he give himself over and try to finally act like a regretting father? What Mew had told Coli had been true. Haku regretted what he had done. Well, the part of him that mattered did. The spawn from the pits of hell did not count in this matter. He could not admit it to the milk chocolate female, and it was for the best, because she would not believe him even if he did give in and reveal to her that he had hurt her in the worst horrible way and that he would do anything to have it undone. He was not that kind of man. All in all, what he had done had made him into what he was today. Still a monster, not less dangerous, but he had more control, and he was slowly learning to use the devilish energy to do less damage. Instead of doing what he should do, the male gave a half crazed bark of a laugh. With me as their father, Coli? Look how you turned out. He hesitated a moment before he added, I'm sure I can do better this time, fuck their heads up a bit more, yeah? Maybe this was a good thing. It would give his daughter something to strive for, and he would know that his two small boys would have a good caretaker, unless she had a spotless plan that consisted of killing them before Haku could have a chance to fuck them up. He doubted that though. He knew his daughter (or used to) and knew that even though she had some traits from him, she also had a pure heart that was meant for something more than being her daddy's slut.

His harsh language made her ears flick back. She had forgotten how foul-mouthed he could be when he was upset.
"Maybe it's too late for me, but it's not too late for them! Everyone in the pack is watching you, and if you screw up even once, they'll all rip your throat out," Coli growled, hackles rising on the nape of her neck. Alexey told her the pack had defended the newborns when Haku stormed in on the birthing, and she was almost jealous that they, her little brothers, had such a reliable safety net. She couldn't defend herself, didn't have the will to, but children were her weakness. At least they could grow up thinking the world was a friendly and good place, couldn't they?

She wasn't sure what she had expected from Haku, but she knew if he had acted like he cared, if he had apologized, then she would have been the one to knock him to the ground. She needed him to be the bad guy. If he found remorse and nullified the rape that had defined her personality, then she would have to ruin him, even if it turned her into the villain. She needed someone to hate other than herself.

"I'd dance on your grave, if you even got one. And if you're right, and those kids turn out half as fucked up as you are anyway, then I'll put them down myself... Better to end their lives while they're still innocent, then after they've tasted blood." Breathing hard, Coli dared him to challenge her back. This wrathful side of her was horrifying - she had not been pushed so far in her life by anyone, and the words that had tumbled from her snarling lips were nothing that she had premeditated. If Cer saw her now, she doubted her old friend would want to see her again. She didn't want to be here anymore, wanted to escape from this eerie nightmare... There was still purity in her heart, but it was a fragile balance, and her cowardly vengeance was threatening to tip the scales. Why hadn't anyone given her the same opportunity...? "You... Probably should have killed me already."

500+ Some power play (again 8<), poke me if you want me to change it.

His own hackles rose along with hers as he listened to the girl. How she managed to think that she was allowed to speak to him like that was lost to the chocolate male, so he guessed he should put her in her place before this scene came to an end. The pack could watch him no matter how intensely the rest of the pack glared. He was being unfairly treated at the moment, and he intended to remind them all of his position here in the pack. These were his children, and they could fret and drama and try to keep him away if they saw his so amazingly dangerous, but they would fail. He was their father, it was his right. He had not wanted the puppies, but he would make a scene nevertheless if the same thing ever happened again as it had happened at the birthing scene where the fucking Alphess and one of her random Dahlia minions had believed they had the right to shelter the new born from his sight. He had more reason to be there than both of them.

Haku did not apologize to his daughter because it was not worth it. Plus he was not the man to do such things without full heartedly meaning it. Besides, he had broken something that he doubted ever could properly heal, so why bother attempting to make amends now? He would not waste his time with such things. Half the pack either feared or disliked him, and one more member on that list was not more than he could handle. He would just have to try to soothe Cercelee if possible, if she went on a drama spree again. Coli seemed to be running around screaming of what he had done to everyone who cared and what not, but Cercelee could be trusted like that. He was quite sure that the only ones that would know of their ‘fight’ were the two of them.

Her next words were unacceptable. She dared to challenge her back? Fair enough. He let her finish off her words before he came on her again, his hybrid closing the single foot distance between them and landing heavily on her chest, pushing her down to the ground once again. ”Listen here, little chocolate.” Words and voice did not match, because his voice revealed how dangerous he was. They believed they could tame him, but he was still the wild beast underneath all the pretty words and actions. His core never changed. ”I will not take you for your words now because you are obviously unstable, but if you threaten my sons’ lives like that again, or anyone else in this pack, then I will take you down, I will make you suffer more than you ever thought was possible. I promise you. He spat the words in her face. He has not been so close to her since the day everything had gone wrong.

Maybe he should have killed her, but he had not, and he would not now, it was too late for her. ”Maybe I should have killed you, but I did not, deal with it. You may live here, but stop wallowing in self pity and crying about things that cannot be changed. I am the next in command here, and I require respect- oh, yes I do. Get over it and grow up.” If she just had stayed away, everything would have been different. ”Do we have an understanding?”

Words: 300+
OoC: Sorry for the wait! Did you want to wrap this up now? C:

The air left her lungs all at once as he was suddenly on her, crashing her back to the wet snow beneath them. The whites around her wide blue eyes were visible as she gaped up at the werewolf atop her, her fingers feebly grasping at the ground as though trying to push herself back up. Thoroughly cowed as Haku's snarling face loomed above her, Coli panted shallowly, her heart slamming wildly in her slim chest. She almost didn't hear the words he was telling her, she was so far from her wits. But she caught the gist of it.

She had earned this reprimand, and then some. Any high-ranking wolf would have kicked around a newcomer for threatening his children, and any father would have slapped a daughter that was this disrespectful. And she knew it, too, which was why her cowardly jaws had snapped shut instantly, too frightened to speak further. And yet, this new, older Haku had still not hurt her, not really - just knocked her down twice, which was child's play compared to the assault she had suffered at his claws twelve moons ago. "You... mean it..." she breathed, stating it rather than asking. Haku Soul was defending his sons. Haku cared about something. Had he been lying, then, when he threatened them himself? Was he trying to hide the fact that he had attachments now?

Her mind awhirl, Coli sagged beneath his pressing weight, nodding a numb acknowledgment to his ultimatum. Yes, they had an agreement. Yes, she would not undermine him. It burned, though; being told to "grow up", when it was his fault that she couldn't. Sullen, just like a pup, she jutted her lip and looked away from her father's face. It was probably the first real discipline she had ever gotten from him, since he himself acted so often like a child. His scent, his touch, it all still chilled her to the core, but now she felt resentment as well, a flicker of self-righteous anger. It was something new; it was the first step to change.

300+ Yeppppps!

He loved her startled look. He loved that he could still scare her. He loved that even after all this time, she still was in his grasp to some extent. This was likely to change though. In fact, he actually hoped she would. He had taken something from her, yet all she was able to do was to cower. She had once loved him, and he had of course also loved her, though in his own way. She was his daughter, his own flesh and blood, but it had ended the day he had forced his way inside her and shattered her world. What did she want from him? He had nothing to offer, no apologies to make, no reassurances that everything was okay and that she was safe. They would never be father and daughter again. He would keep her safe though, because she bore the title of Dahlia de Mai. Sadly, that was the only reason. He did not believe he ever could manage to force forth any affection for her. Together with her hopes and dreams, her father had died when everything went wrong. Such a small part of him. Haku was not cut out to be a father, especially not a single one.

She seemed surprised at his words, but perhaps he actually had changed somewhat to the better since he came here. His threat concerning his two youngest sons had been a test, though she had not passed it as well as he had hoped. He could ask for nothing, but he would trust that what he had said would stick to her mind and set her in motion to attempt to keep the children safe from him. He hoped she would. He did not intend to let his world be limited even more by two little snots. He kept his silence until she nodded and looked away. Then he slowly removed his paws from her chest. "Good. Welcome to Dahlia de Mai, Coli." It was over. He went back the same way that he had come chasing after her. He was surprised how well this had gone. Part of him had wished for hell to break loose, but it was best for both that it had not. His thoughts circled around the future. Dahlia de Mai was a very interesting pack to live in, that was for sure.
