Kailier had been following Naniko for a bit before she decided to sit down in the grass and rest a little. She did not need to have a den right now because the grass was good enough if she needed a quick rest. The scent of grass was a calming break from everything, especially since she had just been joining the pack, which was a little bit stressful since she had to be obedient the whole time, but it had not been that long, which was pleasant. Or was that the slight breeze that was making her feel pleasant? However, once the clouds came into her sight, Kailier still felt refreshed, which was because of the rain that the clouds would be pouring if she didn't find a form of shelter soon.
The clouds were coming closer, and Kailier did not want to get wet, so she ran off to the one place she could think of- the manor that she had caught a glimpse of when Naniko was guiding her to the places of shelter. But she also wanted to see if she could at least make a comfy scrape in the ground nearby, and decided to dig a bit so that she could have temporary shelter, and had just started making a scrape when it began raining. Better luck next time. She started to run, but to where? Kailier was getting pretty wet, and was a bit confused too. Oh, where was the sun when she wanted it most?
