___
So, here before her lay the land called Bleeding Souls. Avanda Celeste narrowed her olive eyes against the falling snow, letting them sweep across the vicinity once again. Even though it looked much like the other terrains that her journey had dragged her across, somehow there was a glow of promise hovering in the surrounding air. Was it possible that this place might be able to set her paws on a new path? The thought was interrupted as the wind picked up, teasing her fur until it made its way to her skin and finally penetrated her bones. She shivered once before taking a deep breath and continuing on her way, leaving footprints in the fresh snow behind her.

___
When Avanda had first made the decision to leave her former pack, she had no idea where she would end up, or even where to go. All she knew was that she was sick of her current life, waking up with dread buried deep in her stomach, needing to go through the day hiding behind a mask and pretending to accept each of her packs customs without the hesitation of even a single thought. As if the idea that she was to mate with Rilando when she came of age wasn’t enough. It had been a blessing when the perfect opportunity to sneak out of the pack’s boundaries had arisen late one night, and even more so that she had found a loner who told her stories of Bleeding Souls.

___
She came to a sudden halt as a distinctive smell tempted her senses and raised her nose higher in the air. Cutting through the air like a knife was the smell of a packs boundary, just a few strides ahead of her. Her heart began to thrum at a quicker pace as she realized what this meant. This was the beginning of a new chance at life and a way to bring it in a new direction; to let the past fall behind her, like the snow would when spring arrived. With hope shining in her eyes, she lifted her head in the air and let out a howl.

___
Now all she had to do was wait.

Hi there! Welcome to Storm and BS. Big Grin

_____ Last time that Pilot had come to the borders at the promise of a newcomer, it hadn’t turned out exactly how he had expected it to. Eliot had been there only in search of her friend Ghost, whom had left Storm some time before that. She hung around for a while, but now Pilot hadn’t seen her in weeks and weeks. Perhaps she went off in search of Ghost. He wasn’t really sure.

_____ So when the call drifted through the frigid air like a slow moving apparition, Pilot perked up and brought himself to his feet. He had been in his den – warm and cozy next to Dierdre. He loved the beauty that snow brought to the scenery, but Pilot’s fur wasn’t exactly as full as other’s were. He seemed to be cold more often than not.

_____ With the ground covered in snow from days past and fresh glitter falling from the sky, Pilot seemed to almost disappear in the background. The only thing that really pulled him out from the abyss of white, was the black arrowhead necklace swinging from his neck and the sparkle of the silver piercing in his upper lip. Other than that, he appeared almost like an apparition himself.

_____ "Good evening," he chimed in as he came to the borders. Obediently, this lone wolf remained outside of Storm’s borders. Pilot was thankful for that, considering Storm’s omega seemed to be causing them trouble lately. He wasn’t exactly ecstatic about accepting another member with the same mind set. "May I help you some how?"
