the truth is lies

Firefly didn't feel like seeing the rest of the pack, she didn't want to see the look on Alexey's face and right now she really didn't want to see Haku. Somehow though she knew it was wrong she blamed him for everything that had 'happened'. Her children were safer where they were at now than with the male and his strange ways but she wasn't about to let him catch her acting calm and collected in the face of the kidnapping. The Acer of the pack had crept back to her own cabin after the packmeeting and hadn't left the building since. She knew sooner or later she'd have to check up on the boys though she trusted that they were well, hell, she knew exactly where they were and if anything did happen all she had to do was call an alert to the pack and things would be settled quickly.

She knew if her brother's packmate hadn't found him yet that she could be putting her brother into dangerous territory but he was use to the ways of the darker side of Firefly and would adjust. She pinned back her ears and tried not to think on the truth and worries of the matter, everything would work out fine in the end..

Closing her eyes the woman sighed and reminded herself that this was needed, that someone had to teach her bastard mate a lesson, and if it had to be her then she'd be the one.

ooc|| I couldn't resist. Is Firefly inside?

She felt like she was shrouded in shadow. Surely the female was invisible! Sabeen danced the territory, slinking from one corner to another, leaving no inch untouched. She made love to the wind, allowed it to carry it where she was meant to be. Cabins crawled into her viewpoint. Her noise lifted to the wind to catch any scent. For such a crowded pack, she was constantly alone. Perhaps Svara had poisoned their minds. Well, she'd change it back with her secret antidote. Giggling like a child, she pressed her back to the cabin wall, narrowing her eyes into the horizon. Her mind was too fast for her to keep up, making her dizzy.

Something alerted her to a presence inside the house. Was it a voice or some other sound? Her mind couldn't make up the answer, but she was soundly sure that there was someone inside that cabin, and she wanted to find out who. Svara's scent was in the area. Was this Svara's home? Perhaps now she could confront her child, although about what she wasn't sure. Instead she crept to the window, turning her gaze inside of it. It was hard to see but she made out a form. 'Guten tag!' She called out, her giggles fading into a wide grin. Her fingers curled and rapped lightly on the glass plane, hoping to capture the other's attention and force an interaction.

Firefly had been laying there silently until the tapping a tthe windowpane got her attention, her emerald eyes flashed open in a heartbeat as she snarled. She didn't want to deal with anyone at all right now and she highly doubted that anyone wanted to see her either. The Acer of the pack quickly got to her feet and glanced out the window at the figure, she gritted her teeth as she caught sight of who it was. Svara's damnable mother. She didn't know anything about the woman but she knew she really didn't want to either. Firefly was one to get to know her packmates on her own terms, not on theirs and this sudden interuption into her time alone was enough to put her in a worse mood than what she was.

She moved back into the darkness and within a few moments jerked the door open to glare out face to face at the strange woman on her porch. Her voice was dripping with venom as she asked, "What do you want.." Obviously showcasing the fact that she was less than happy to see and meet her new packmate.

ooc|| hey, they can talk about having young male children. ...cept sab ate hers o_O

The woman moved towards her and then away- Sabeen's grin faded, assuming she would be ignored. A moment later the door swung open to reveal the coppery lady. She looked displeased with the wolf, a feeling she was happy to mimic. Her grin left her face completely, eyes narrowing slightly. 'Nothing,' she said, and then paused for a moment, looking away. 'Svara lives here.' The woman rolled the words in her mouth, clicking her teeth. 'Who are you?' Wheat coloured eyes snapped back to the fiery woman. She smelled like Haku and child. Haku was her mate, perhaps, or a sibling.

Full of temerity, the lady clothed in blue pushed past the woman into her house, her lips curling. Personal space? Bah! Nonsense. Sabeen stood just inside, turning her gaze onto the other's form. She realized the risk of entering the house without permission but at the same time disregarded it. Svara wasn't nearby. Haku wasn't either; that mysterious smell of child still lingered, and she looked curiously, to find any small form.

Firefly hadn't known what to expect from Svara's mother but what she was granted was not what she was about to tolerate. The golden coppery goddess had not even been given a chance to answer the woman before she'd slipped past Firefly and barged right into her own home. Her eyes flashed as she tried to grab the other woman by the scruff. "What the fuck do you think you're doing?" she snarled, her ears pinned flat against her skull, having gone from annoyed to flat out pissed in a two second turn around.

She growled as she moved closer to the woman, "Svara does NOT live here." she answered shortly. "I don't know who's door your child's begging at now but it's not here." she said as her heart began to beat faster against her ribcage, her annoyance rising a notch higher with everything that this strange bitch did.

The other woman grasped her scruff and pulled her back, snarling. A startled 'oomf' escaped her as Sabeen held her ground, pulling herself away to turn around. Her eyes focused on the other's emerald ones, her smile temporarily fading. 'I think I'm entering your house, which you neglected to invite me in to.' She tsked at the other's lack of manners. 'Or perhaps it was purposeful, then. I've notice a lack of... cohesiveness in this pack, after all.'

Sabeen didn't move as the other advanced, slipping her hands into her pockets. The next statement made her tilt her head slightly. Didn't live here, eh? 'Got tired of her?' She laughed, lightly, remembering her strange acceptance into the pack. That male, Haku (who obviously lived here, his scent was all over the place) and Svara had been angry with each other. 'Hope she wasn't... playing unfairly with your little ones,' the lady inclined her head slightly. Although she knew deep in her mind was she was implying, if asked, Sabeen wouldn't know what she had meant. Her memories of her past were foggy and confused. Svara, her two sons, her mate, the events occuring around them and her constantly shifted in her memory and never made much sense to her, after all.

ooc, they are actually in Firefly's cabin, not Haku's house, she has her own place in the Vineyards though she hadn't been staying there since Svara arrived basically. Big Grin

ic: When the lowly ranked woman slipped through her grip Firefly growled a warning as the bitch began to speak. The insult on her packmates was probably right but she didn't want to hear it coming from this piece of shit. "Give me one reason to invite you in and I'll give you enough reason not to want to come back.." she snarled. She knew she wouldn't really follow through with her threats unless the bitch continued her fucked up game but she had enough reason to get away with it now with the disappearance of her children.

..and it seemed that the bitch wasn't going to get packing either as she went right on, making her self comfortable in the Acer's space. Her fangs reflected in the light of the fire that roared behind her as she spat. "Svara doesn't live here bitch.. Now remove yourself before I.." she wasn't even able to finish her sentance before the mother of one of her biggest pains went to far. Though Firefly didn't like Svara she knew the child would never harm the two puppies and the suggestion at Sabeen's words made dark memories surface in Firefly's mind as she jerked her arm, intend on backhanding the bitch for overstepping her bounderies way beyond anyone's allowance.

oh jeez XD; i'm sorry lol. Sab's gonna make a move to start a fight, but if you don't want to have a fight between the two, you can totally just punt her out of the way and she'll take off screaming.

She wasn't making any friends in this cabin, that was clear. Sabeen ducked her head, mimicking a polite nod. She didn't offer any reply to Firefly's first statement, not having anything more to say on the matter. After all, she was in the house now, so what did it matter? Svara most definitely did not live here, as the Acer confirmed, and she looked up again, tsking slightly. She saw fire in the other's eyes and felt a sharp pain ringing in her cheek. The other woman had backhanded her. The physical contact shocked Sabeen, who froze for a moment, before completely withdrawing from Firefly and fixing her angry wheat eyes on the emerald ones.

Today she hadn't been physical, but the attack from the other snapped her into a brand new state of mind. 'Bitch,' Sabeen snapped, and then in german: 'Sie dummes Weibchen, schmutziger Abfall! Sie sind nicht besser als ich!' and thrusted her body forward, tucking her head into her shoulders as she went to barrel into Firefly, hopefully knocking her backwards onto the ground.

Firefly was not a woman to play foolish games with. The Acer was prideful and had a long list of sins behind her. Though she knew that in the end they would be the downfall to her highroller life she didn't care. Even angels fell and she'd been falling since the day she'd arrived on the outskirts of the packlands. It wasn't her fault that the pack let her slide by with her acts and feats, though right at the moment she knew she was on the verge of breaking one little rule the ivory leader of the pack seemed to like to hold over her head, but today it didn't matter, this territory within the pack was all her own and the piece of waste before her wasn't respecting her in that matter.

She bared her fangs at the woman as she realized just what she'd received from her higher ranked packmate. Firefly hadn't been joking then and she wasn't joking now. When the woman snapped at her and soon words in german followed Firefly just laughed. "Say it again.." She cooed. She'd been raised at the paws of pirates and the brilliantly colorful language of the other woman didn't phase her none. She knew she was a bitch, hell, half the creatures in the territory did, but she'd earned the place she stood now and she wasn't going to let some mongrel waste try and show her up.

When the other came crashing towards her like a raging bull Firefly just sneered and stepped to the side, with one hand she reached forward to snatch at the mane of the other woman. IF she wanted an outright brawling catfight Firefly had no problem giving her one. The bitch was on her grounds and she wasn't about to be thrown from her own home. She had something to fight for here, Sabeen was gonna find out quickly that not all pretty faces were delicate blossoms.

The taunting of the other woman irritated her. She had missed, a strong hand wrapping in her short hair to bring her backwards. A guttural noise escaped her as she landed back on the floor, staying there. She panted, glaring up at Firefly. As much as she wanted to pin the copper girl to the wall and tear her throat out, Sabeen realized quite suddenly she was in the process of jeopardizing her home. She stood up, slowly, her dress ripped from a loose nail. Her mouth was still curled in a snarl, but she made no move towards the higher-ranked wolf. 'I hope your children are never found, you cunt.' The lady made a move towards the other, but then stopped herself, and turned abruptly. Firefly had won this round, damn her, because of her position. But one day Sabeen would be free and she would do what she wanted. That was what the angels and demons whispered as they clashed in her mind.

Firefly snarled at the woman as she threw the bitch to the ground. The words that the female tossed back at her only made her laugh bitterly as she prepared herself for whatever the other had coming but oddly enough the lowly ranked pack member just stopped in the mists of it all and turned to leave. The Acer didn't trust the woman one bit and she growled, showing the lady that she was on thin ice as it was, Firefly had every right to put her in her place and for once she didn't care what the Rosea would decide was just punishment.

The coppery gold woman followed her out the door as she spat. "Just wait Sabeen.. just wait.." She might not put her mark on the crazy woman just yet but she would in time. Firefly would make sure of that.
