Detailed physical description:
Sculpted in a supple lupine form which could be considered androgynous, so nimble, lithe and graceful is he, with a short, narrow body whose curves could boast feminin beauty, a long, tapering neck which is often arched and long, willowy legs which hold him almost consistantly higher than all the others he knows; he has only ever seen his height matched, not surpassed. With little, clever paws and such a streamlined build, Faust is a swift creature whose speed, like his height, is seldom rivaled. He has a shapely face and long, narrow muzzle, slim jawline and two pert ears atop such a handsome head.
His colouring makes him just as distinct as does his build. Though the majority of his coat is a luxurious shade of brown fading from the colour of packed brown sugar to the colour of light maple syrup. Apart from this, however, he has markings the shade of black coffee all over his body. Starting from his nose, a line of this shade streams upwards, between his eyes (which are the colour of new opals- a very pearlescant, light beige) between his ears (which are both also completely covered with this dark mocha) and down his spint all the way to the tip of his tail. His paws and legs all the way up to his knees are this colour, though this is not the most peculiar feature- all of the before-mentioned markings were natural. Using a dye of the same shade, a travelling luperci artist dyed Faust's fur so that he has very tiger-like stripes, beginning on his forehead, continuing down his neck and shoulders and fading away slightly three quarters of the way down his back, so that his haunches are devoid of markings. His underside has also been dyed this colour, and he has four claw-like dark markings on the curve of each haunch. His tail has four rings near the base of it, which were dyed, though the tip of his tail is naturally this colour. As well, each leg has three claw-like white markings, vertically done, and beneath each opalescant eye is five dots of the same colour as his eyes.
Detailed biography:
Born the only son to two vagrant parents, Ochre Synapse and Sanguine Tartuffe, who lived constantly on the move, Faust was born to be a wanderer. His parents, who were not mates, stayed together long enough to assure that Faust survived once they learned that his mother, Ochre, was pregnant. He was raised in a small den they had dug for Ochre's birth, though as soon as Faust was old enough to travel he did so with his parents, growing and learning from them, though they never developed a very tight-knit relationship. Sanguine, feeling that Faust could survive as long as he stayed with his mother, left the duo before Faust was a year old, and wasn't terribly missed. Neither Ochre nor Sanguine were very affectionate toward each other, though they were civil and polite at all times. Faust grew up cared for by his parents, though none of the endearing, lovie-dovey rituals of mates and pups happened. He was a pup who would later be an adult, and he was raised as such, though Faust puzzled his parents, having developed a slightly strange view of the world, and quirky personality.
When he was one year old he too left his mother, who was just as content to continue on without her son. Travelling primarily by himself, though entertaining several other lone wolves along the way, the slim, handsome male learned as much as he could from travelling bards, picking up the habit of speaking in poetry and songs and never answering a question directly. Considered an oddball by some and an artist by others, Faust roamed the land without seeking acceptance into any packs, for he had no need to stay rooted with any other individuals. Somewhat the misanthropist, though Faust enjoys company, he does not seek it out for himself unless in a strange mood to do so. Naturally, he succumbed to a few sexual lures along the way, though never made any personal connections with the females or males with whom he enjoyed a lusty pleasure. Living as a hedonist and vagabond, Faust has finally made his way to Nova Scotia, where he plans on settling for the time being.
