Firefly had left the scene with one thing on her mind and she knew that the packleader could probably figure out just where exactly she was going. A growl escaped her lips as she felt the tension in her muscles. She was a coldhearted bitch and a monster yes, but she'd never turn against her own child. The one life you couldn't help but love because you'd carried them and brought them into the world. The emerald eyed woman had searched for the cunt that had marred the young child and left her sightless. She knew that Svara was a proud girl but she wasn't for certain how she'd be able to handle the newest changed handed to her. Firefly would make a point of making one part of her life easier by finding assurance that her mother would never lay a paw on her again.

The bronze and gold woman stood outside the small house that the bitch had claimed as her own. Her voice broke through the silence as she snarled. "Sabeen.. get out here now.." her curly wavy hair was whipping around her face as flames seemed to spark in her eyes. "We have some unfinished business bitch." The coward had fled her own cabin before Firefly had a chance to really beat some sense into the crazed lady, but she'd finish that job right now.

She hadn't left her cabin in days, not even for food, living on stale water and left over granola bars from hundreds of years ago. Sabeen was sick, sick but she was innocent and they'd never believe her, she knew, and so she stayed where she sat, her only light the fire from her heroin, as if to portend her immediate future. She was hungry, her fur grossly matted, hair unkempt, but she was innocent and the innocent would prevail always.

The voice came, a voice she had expected that send icy daggers of hate down her spine, Firefly. The irony of her name wasn't apparent at the moment. For the first time in days the lady rose and made her way to the window, wheat eyes peering through the dirty glass. She hissed unhappily. It was unlikely the other would leave, but at least she was safe, having barricaded her door securely in the days before. 'Warum sollte ich herauskommen? Ich habe nichts getan. Lassen Sie mich im Frieden! Ich hasse Sie!' She screamed, and turned away, wanting the earth to eat the copper bitch whole.

Firefly couldn't help but snarl in disgust as she saw the face of the woman suddenly appear from behind one of the old dusty windows. Her emerald eyes narrowed as the worlds of the bitch caught her attention. That damn German again, she might not be very good at speaking it, but she cold understand the lady plain as day. "Only the guilty would be too afraid to show themselves. If you come out I promise not to harm you.. " Her ears pinned back against her skull as she smiled slight. The last words of her sentence soft and muttered under her breath. "Too much.." Her tail tapped against her thigh softly as the psycho disappeared once more into the darkness.

She chuckled to herself as she took a few steps forward and found herself at the door to the cabin. Beating her fist against the heavy wood she called out in a singsong voice. "Come out, come out my little friend.." She doubted the bitch was going to move but it didn't matter, if she didn't.. she had other plans.

She refused to look at the window, refused to acknowledge Firefly's existence. She was clean, free, she shouldn't be forced to hide in her cabin like a child punished. But she valued her life more than any others', and she would not perish for something she had not done. Sabeen knew the Dahlian system of justice, for it was the same system of justice that commanded any feral group of animals. They all lusted for blood and she was not foolish enough to believe that higher values would ever change the nature of the beast.

The woman jumped at the pounding but relaxed. Firefly could not get in, she was safe she was safe, safe, safe. 'Leave me in peace!' she howled again, switching to english. She had no weapon with her, nothing to defend herself with. Not even a blunt knife. As she felt her fate upon her shoulders, Sabeen vowed to never find herself defenseless like this again.

Firefly was growing impatient with the woman. All this foolish nonsense and having to actually act civil was bull shit. The woman had scarred her daughter beyond recognition and had drastically altered the child's life. If Firefly already didn't have issues with the woman that would have been enough for her to drag the woman out by her hair. With the words the woman had screamed at her Firefly snarled and yelled back. "You don't deserve peace bitch!" The golden bronze woman moved a step away from the door as though she was about to leave, instead she drew her fist back and busted it through the glass window.

She would probably regret it later but the woman didn't care now. "Give me a reason why I shouldn't kill you.." She spat through the broken glass as she realized she couldn't reach the lock on the door. Pulling away from the view of the woman Firefly reached into her pocket and took out the zippo she'd taken from the human city. Her eyes went to the ratty old curtains that hung in the window she'd just destroyed as a chuckle rose from her throat. She knew the bitch wouldn't give her the answer she wanted and soon enough she'd be lighting up in a way she'd never imagined.

Panic was rising in the woman. She was going to die but she was innocent. Wheat eyes squeezed shut, fingers seeking out something to hold on to. They brushed a burnt spoon and she pressed it to her chest, her personal rosary. She shrieked as Firefly burst through the glass, jumping backwards, a deranged look coming over her. They couldn't be doing this to her, this army, yes, Firefly wasn't alone, she had others with her, others with angry weapons. She looked beside her and a six winged creature with twisted limbs and a broken smile beckoned her, and she breathed his name 'Asmodai' as she passed through him.

She didn't even hear Firefly but she sensed the danger, couldn't see what it was but sensed it. Her eyes whirled around the room- there had to be an exit, another way out- yes, yes, there was! Firefly couldn't see it, and she couldn't let her see it, or she'd be murdered as she fled. So she played the part of the doomed soul, her face twisted, german curses falling from her split lips, her thoughts whirling and incoherent. The atmosphere was different. 'Kill me, you bitch!' her voice was garbled and ruined. Spittle flew from her lips. 'Do it!'

It was not smart to tempt Firefly and the crazed bitch was doing just that. Why would you taunt your attacker and dare them to do just what they'd love to do. A dark smile split across her maw as the woman's words rang through the air. She really did love when the prey asked to die. A chuckle rose from her throat as she turned towards the front of the house. "Gladly.." she growled as she flipped open the top on the lighter and flicked the wheel, watching the flint cast sparks and a sudden constant flame appear.

Within seconds the tattered old curtains were subjected to the heat of the flame as Firefly ran the flame under the cloth, within seconds fire danced along the curtains, quickly dancing up the wall. She moved to the other window, the glass still intact for the moment, but not for long as Firefly used her elbow to shatter the glass before playing the flame under the window treatments there as well. The eyes of the home now alight with fire as Firefly chuckled darkly outside on the porch.

She was beginning to calm down again. She wouldn't die, she wouldn't, she had a plan and thankfully Firefly hadn't seen through it. The fire was unexpected- a twist- but it all amounted to the same, and it lended her the cover she needed. Sabeen pressed her back into the wall, watching at the curtains grew aflame, the fire spreading quickly onto her ceiling and floorboards. She looked side to side, her breath coming in short bursts. Was anything of value in this house? Her fingers unclutched from the dirty spoon and let it fall. She had no stash hidden nearby. That was fine. Anything she lost she could replace-- but as she darted from her position she was drawn to a corner-wall, where an actual rosary hung. It shone in the engulfing fire. The lady snatched it without thinking, not even paying attention to what it was except to note it was a beaded string, and made her way as quickly and quietly as she could. The beams in the ceiling cracked, a flame exploded in the corner. Her home was eaten away at the corners and began to shatter as she climbed through the opened window, the blessedly opened window, and hit the ground hard. Wheezing slightly she looked back once, to see if Firefly was coming after her, and ran, ran as fast as she could until she was out of Dahlia territory, forever.

Firefly suspected that there was another way out of the house but over the roar of the flames she couldn't tell when the woman was going to make her brake for it. None of the other packmembers had caught up with her yet from the small meeting so no one was there to guard one door while she was at the other. She watched as quickly the flames danced from the fabric to the wood of the building. She laughed at the whole situation as she could hear the pop of the wood beams as the fire began to roar to life. She smiled to herself as she stepped off the porch and sat back a distance to watch the place burn to the ground.

She caught out of the corner of her eye the form of the woman dashing through the woods towards the nearest edge of their territories. She snarled to herself but didn't get up to pursue. She figured that one of the leaders would make certain that the woman didn't return to the lands, but Firefly herself didn't see that happen. She knew she wouldn't want to return somewhere when one of your packmates tried to burn you alive. Then again, she wasn't technically a packmember anymore.
