His handsome figure had faded into a dull, lackluster shell of the man he used to be. His eyes, once a brilliant and striking blue, had now drifted into a grey tone. His left leg was deficient in every manner, and on a typical day would have hindered him. For the first time in at least six months, Laurent was shifted into his wolf form. It was easier to hold his pace this way and he did not get so tired. He was restocking his home, but he had run into one major problem; his strength.

What had before been his greatest attribute was now a faded fable. He could not drag much for very long, he could not stand long enough to repair any of the damage he had done to his room. and at the moment, he was glaring down a bag that he had collected with painstakingly slow progress. "Dammit to hell." he grumbled lowly, and at that moment his leg gave out, and his massive frame came crashing down to the ground.

The woman had decided that staying away from her packlands was probably the best idea she'd had in a long time. She had been padding through the city for a long time, her four paws taking her here and there just to waste time and keep her mind off the bitterness that had replaced the love and loyalty she had for her pack. She knew in some way she had deserved what she'd got, but she didn't deserve the last straw that she'd been handed. She could deal with the disgust, losing the sleazy bastard as her mate and her demotion.. but losing her children to the pack was too much. Every day she hoped that Emwe or Conor would come to see her again and yet the days just rolled by now.

She'd pushed herself further into the city to forget about the pain and to hide behind her mask. She had crept up to one of the building, following a fresh scent of a stranger when she heard a loud thump. Pausing for a second as she glanced around to make certain no one else was near the woman crossed into the building and went in search of the owner of the noise.

Traveling down one of the dark halls she peered into a room, catching sight of the large framed male sitting in the mists of disarray. She scanned the room for a moment before she called out. "Anything interesting down there..." She doubted that he wanted to be splayed out on the floor but there was little he could do about it now. Normally hot headed and cruel the woman just didn't have it in her to belittle the man today.
