All Welcome

This would be her room whether people liked it or not. Gabriel had told her that she could live in the house, and so obviously the girl wanted her own private room. The building was big, and it seemed relatively empty taken the size. There were recent scents here and there, but the girl could not be bothered unless she ran into a creature of flesh and blood. Third floor, a room with a window that offered a decent view of the overgrown garden, the girl had made her choice. After she had been accepted by the Inferni leader, she had gone back to the wilderness to get the bloated backpack she had left temporarily when she placed herself at the borders. She had quickly shifted and gone in the direction described by her uncle.

The girl grinned wickedly at the sight of the bed, excited that she would have her own. She placed the large, empty cage in a random corner and turned to the backpack that had been left on the bed. A dead mouse (how had that gotten in there?) and various, mostly worthless items, were thrown down on the dusty floor. The two only items that managed to get a prime spot on her bed as she emptied the backpack were her S&M 9mm guns.

She had come back to get a few of her things, but had ended up inside of the house. When she had brought all of her dresses back from the city she'd picked a room and had hung them up in the closet...but now that she was planning on moving she wanted to get them out and take them with her. She didn't have any bags to cover them with, but that was alright. She knew that Haven would take good care of them. She was hoping that he might be waiting for her somewhere outside of the lands, to help her carry some of her things.

She had been thinking about leaving Inferni for a while...but feared what Ezekiel might say to her. He hadn't liked the idea of her hanging around with Haven, she could tell. And to tell him that she was leaving, after he had brought her here?

The white female walked up the steps to the house, holding up the hem of her long red dress so that she wouldn't trod on it. She went directly to the room that she'd hung the dresses up in, walking through the doorway without much notice, starting for the closet. It was then that she noticed the cage, something that hadn't been in the room before. She'd only been using it to hang her clothing up while she had been staying with
Ezekiel in his den...had someone moved in? She turned around slowly, swallowing. "Eh..hello!"

It was almost a bit comical how the white female entered, seemingly oblivious to the fact that it was occupied, and the fact that the occupant was present. Halo could only stare in surprise of such an invasion of her newfound home, and only moments after the Inferni coyote had entered the room, she slowly turned around to find Halo’s figure. Until now, the dark girl’s face had been blank, but the Lykoi girl recovered quickly enough and hardened her ruby gaze as she studied the girl. Jesus, didn’t people know how to knock? The newly accepted Inferni girl leaned against the bed, using both her arms as support, and spent a few seconds merely staring at the other. White pelt had to mean there was a mixture of spirits inside her, right? The youth found herself judging other people’s appearances very easily. Hell, she could probably announce it as a hobby. The dress the white woman was wearing, however, was very pretty. Although Halo never used such elegant clothing herself, she could not deny good taste when she saw it. Clothing like that did not really fit the Lykoi girl, but that did not automatically mean that it was not pretty.

”What?” the dark girl vocally challenged, although there was nothing really that could be challenged. Halo’s nose was a fine one, and the room had been unoccupied for quite a while according to the scent molecules dancing around in the air, so she did not really get what was the deal here. The youth had yet to open the closet to see the clothing there, so she was rather taken back by the fact that people seemed to storm into random rooms just like this. There was no big deal about this, but Halo had a sense for drama when it was not needed.

She had lived in Northern Canada before, a place where the snow never melted or went away. Being in Inferni had been an all new experience...something that she was still experiencing, even now. She had never felt such heat before in her life. The house seemed to trap it, even moreso upstairs, so she had been preoccupied with that as well. This bedroom felt extremely hot to her, whereas it might not have felt too bad to someone who had been born in warmer temperatures.

It was simple to her, the idea of leaving and living with Haven. Ezekiel was the only thing that made her hesistate. She didn't want to hurt him or make him angry with her...not after everything that he had done for her.

She was surprised, but looked back at the other female evenly. She didn't know this new coyote...but to be inside Inferni and Inferni's house..well, she had to be a new member. Siobhan was a middle-ranked coyote, not low but not high. Did that mean anything in this situation? She'd never worried about such a thing before. "This is your room?" She asked. "Siobhan was storing some things here...she did not know it belonged to anyone."

The thought of ranks were far from Halo’s mind, and would stay that way unless it was mentioned by the other. Halo enjoyed privacy, and cherished the feeling now with a few days alone from her always fighting siblings. She was irritated because of the female’s intrusion, but did not yet know why to other youth had waltzed in like this. Her mind had not really get that far either, because she her focus was busy studying the other’s unique appearance. Jael was white, but so wolf like. This girl seemed all coyote, but with such a colour it could not be possible unless she was an alabaster freak, but that should have granted her a pink nose as well. Odd, just odd.

”Yes.” The word whistled through her clenched teeth only a moment after the question had sounded. The next words took a few seconds more to digest, because the other coyote started to talk about a person named Siobhan. ”Couldn’t Siobhan have come and gotten it herself instead of sending her maid?” the girl spat out, sounding much more harsher than she had intended. Her stare stayed at the girl in her pretty dress though, never faltering. Crap, she was not good with her first impressions here in Inferni.

My apologies for the wait <3

She wasn't staying in Inferni long, so she didn't know why she was even bothering to speak to this coyote. She didn't seem like someone who really wanted to talk to her or interact at all...Siobhan would have to defend what she had just said, confused by Halo's perception of who "Siobhan" really was. It was her, herself. Not a maid. What was a maid, anyway? "Siobhan...she does not know what you mean. She is here, right in front of you!" She frowned.

"Who is you, anyway?" She asked. "Who is you to speak to someone like this? It is not nice."

(300) Don't be, I'm a slow wuffer too!

It was sort of unacceptable to behave this way with another Inferni member, but Halo did not take confusion lightly. The rising puzzlement was apparent in the Lykoi girl’s hardening ruby eyes. The white teenager spoke, and Halo stood dumfounded left, slowly realizing that she was actually looking at the coyote named Siobhan. Was there something wrong with the girl since she spoke in such a manner? If anything, those were words and grammar to that of a child’s, but although the white Inferni girl looked young: she did not look like a puppy. The dark newcomer’s teeth were clutched together, her lips merely a thin line. Why did she feel annoyance and resentment rise in her chest? Halo knew only of one way to release that kind of steam. She became rather nasty when she was not in control of a situation.

”Well, it’s not my fault that you confuse me by speaking like a child. I did not know that Siobhan is you because most people say ‘I’.” She halfway hissed out, allowing her red gaze to darken. It was not deserved, but Halo had never liked to be put into her place no matter how gently it was done: unless she had personal reason to respect the words of whoever did just that. The next words pinched her cheeks until they turned slightly flushed. ”What, I was not rude; I simply thought Siobhan was someone else. It’s easy to be misunderstood if you cannot speak properly!” Although the other girl had remained calm, Halo was quickly losing hers. Gabriel had turned her world upside down by enlightening her of her father’s betrayal. The Lykoi offspring felt confused, betrayed and alone. What could be better than turning on another individual that had nothing to do with this?
