Willow was splashing the water and watching her reflection in a little pond. The water was beautiful. As she stared at the rippling water, she focused her gaze at the smooth rocks below. There were so many. Round ones, triangular ones, brown ones, bluish ones. The only thing that made them alike was their smoothened surface.

A reddish brown one caught her eye. Reaching in, she shuttered at the temperature of the water. It was a lot colder than she had expected. Still, she submerged her arm, and curled her fingers over the stone. Pulling it out, she gazed at it and the now visible details. It had a vine-like green stripe that cut its way through the red and branched off in all directions. Standing up on her back legs, she turned away from the water, and looked up at the greyish sky. Absent-mindedly, Willow tossed the rock forward.

Closing her eyes, she took a deep breath, taking in her surroundings. The silence was calming. The scent of rain was heavy on her nostrils. The clouds were filled to the brim with water, but apparently not enough to overflow, and pour on the residents below.

Finally, Willow opened her eyes, the red orbs glistening in the light of the obscured sun. Walking forward, she felt at peace.
