the distance between you and me

He had grown short and moody in the time that Ril'o had left their world. He didn't really know what to do or what to say anymore, so in turn he'd taken to avoiding everyone from those he knew best to the newcomers of the pack. His world had turned to the night where fewer of his packmates seemed to dwell and made it harder for the two toned male to be found. He didn't mind that at all since his mood fit the dark and angry world of the night. His ears swiveled to and fro as the small sounds of the evening.

He'd been walking down the rows of houses in the small town, the scent of a few of his packmates were strong but he just ignored them. There was little that he wanted with his pack right now but to be left alone. He'd even forgotten his obsessive infatuation with the Adonis, the loss of a friend shadowing everything recently. He paused a second to scratch at an itch along his ribs, knowing soon he'd have to take a roll in a patch of tansy to rid himself of the pesky fleas. He really hated having to search out the stupid plants, but atleast it would end one of his problems, even if it was a small one..

He was wandering around in the town, straying far, letting the borders breathe for a while. The secui walked contently in-between the different buildings, and it was obvious that he was walking on his own lands. It had been a while since he had taken a stroll to this part of Dahlia, and he could not remember if he had already visited these houses to look for goods that could be useful. The man very rarely found object that he found intriguing. In the past he had spent most of his time in optime, but he had slowly adjusted to his Halfling form, finding it covering every need. It only showed that he was one of those that preferred the old days. The primitive days where wolves were wolves and content about it. He did not follow the current. He stood still. He wanted to see them die. Maybe he would. In time. Patience was a virtue if he could only learn to control himself properly once and for all. There would be no more mistakes.

The man had yet to meet Sankor properly, despite the fact that the dark wolf had been a Dahlia member for ages. He held the psychologist co-rank, did he not? Amusement sparkled in the Lilium’s eyes. Would he be able to see the lack of a soul in his leader? ”Sankor?” the male called out to the other, walking towards the darker Dahlian.

Sankor hadn't been paying much attention and when the leader called his name he paused in his roaming to turn to look towards the male. Sankor had heard many things of the subleader and he wasn't for certain what was truth and what might have been lies anymore. He smiled slightly and turned towards the male as he nodded. "Yes.. Anything I can do for you.. Haku?" He tilted his head in question, hoping that the male wasn't here to see where he'd been the past week or so.. because Sankor wasn't so certain he could give him a good answer.. he'd been brooding and sulking so much that he wasn't really himself anymore.

The mahogany and walnut male moved towards Haku to close the distance between them, realizing that the leader might think it rude for him to be standing afar and trying to hold a conversation between the two of them. As he settled in closer he smiled to the leader, trying to put on a cheerful face as he waited to see what this was about.
