light in a darkened world

Thought this place might prove to be fun, and it's not too far away from CD! 500+

The Amara had been feeling adventurous today. While she was still getting adjusted to returning back to her tribal lands, at the same time, she also wanted to embark outside of the territory and see what else has changed in the duration of her absence. So, in rising early (and she usually awoke early to feed Aidan for the morning), the red she-wolf happened to start off with her steed outside AniWaya following a dusty, unnamed path. To where their destination was heading, it was unknown to both Asha and Aidan, but in circumstances such as this, her Spirit Guide Jaya always became of an assistance to both of them.

At this point in time, Asha simply wouldn't know what to do without the aid of her Spirit Guide. Jaya assisted her in practically everything: interpreting signs and dreams, guiding her down the right paths, offering a second opinion, and most of all bringing dawning realizations to herself every single day. There wasn't anything that Jaya couldn't teach Asha a lesson in, no matter if Asha knew what it was already, there was always a different perspective to learn from her Spirit Guide. Whispering into her pierced, red ears, Jaya told Asha to guide Aidan in a direction that was a bit of a journey to get to, but would be worthwhile to see. Seeing that Jaya didn't put the two of them in any hazardous situations, Asha simply complied with Jaya's suggestions, and the three of them (with Asha and Aidan in physical, however) destined to the abandoned castle on the cliffside.

It didn't take long before they arrived, and the red haired woman's jaw fell agape at the majestic old structure that took its place on the rocks. It was towering, colossal, most of all, eerie. Eerie enough to where Aidan neighed, refusing to let the two take any more steps closer. It was stark daylight in late afternoon, and even while it was still light out, there was a quality about this place that looked hauntingly creepy, still. Apparently her equine didn't like the sights of this place, neither the vibe that resonated from it. Asha didn't recall seeing any structure of the sort before, and it was in her curiosity that compelled her to go into the great hall of the castle to do some exploring. Atop her horse, she patted through his mane gently and soothingly. "Don't worry, it's probably been abandoned for centuries, you know? There's absolutely nothing in there... except spiders, bugs, and maybe even... ghosts..." Asha trailed off speaking to Aidan, in which her words wouldn't matter in the least anyway, for he wasn't going to get any closer than he was to the castle. Her mind waited for Jaya to possibly have some input about this place, but at the moment, her Spirit Guide was strangely quiet. Feeling her adrenaline start to filter into her veins, the small figure that was Asha Amara leapt off the backside of her horse. Stretching her legs for a moment, her amber eyes surveyed the area. Nobody else was around, although there was that feeling that unseen eyes were watching. Mm, creepy! What a thrill this was going to be!

Yay! The last time Savina was at the castle she had to hack her brother out of a wardrobe with a battle axe XD 300+

The Lt. General's legs carried her off to the south and west. She needed a little bit of a break from the pack. Ever since she had found Ehno that night wounded a dark seed of anger had been seething inside her chest. When it had happened with Kansas she had been upset with her mate as well. Their pups had been due to be born in a short amount of time and the fact he had gotten into a fight and gotten himself hurt had angered her a little. But now that whole situation had changed in her head. Now not only her mate, but also her brother, had gotten into fights with the same loner. Both times he had been trespassing upon their lands. If it hadn't been personal before, it certainly was now. As far as she was concerned these were not mere attacks against the pack, but against her even closer personal family. She would not stand for it.

The path that she was traveling was one she had taken before. It lead to the old abandoned castle on the coast. She hadn't been there since she and her brother had stumbled across it some months ago. The mother had the thought in her head that maybe she could find something interesting for the pups to play with inside. Or if not that maybe there were some prized books that she could take home for Kansas. Whatever it was, she knew she would find something of value in the medieval structure. If she happened upon that boy that had dared to mess with her family, well that would only be an added perk. She had a hungering desire to teach the little prick a well deserved lesson. He had no idea of the powers he provoked within the sable fey.

Soon her jeweled gaze caught sight of the dark castle, impossible to mistake against the horizon. Her heart feeling a little lighter at the welcome picture her pace quickened, carrying her more swiftly to her destination. As she came closer a couple scents were brought to the wolfess' nose. It seemed a member from the AniWaya tribe had decided to come here today as well. Stopping for a moment Savina made her body shift into that bipedal form that was much more ideal for these kinds of excursions. Once that was finished she stood up and strode forward once again, catching glimpse of a horse and a reddish figure. One slender arm rose to the air and waved a greeting. "Hello there!" her Italian accented voice called.

Super mucho apologies for my delay, I'm finally getting back into the swing of things over here. And, god, I absolutely LOVE that table you have there. So gorgeous. 300+

There were a series of continuous chills racing down her spine. There was something so different and eerie about this region that it made her natural zestful wanderlust burst with going in the castle and seeing what hid amongst the shadows, but then again there was this recoiling fear simmering within her to remain rather cautious on approaching this place. Aidan was just as spirited, wiley, and unruly as she was sometimes, but in this instance, the equine didn't want to have anything to do with what laid before him. The very region itself made the equine nervous, with his head swaying to and fro to observe the atmosphere around him, and giving several series of apprehensive neighs to Asha to alert her that he didn't want to be here. "Well, too bad." Asha spoke to her steed, not in a rude manner but one that spoke of firmness. "We're not about to leave for even a second. I doubt nothing will happen. This place is probably centuries old. Relax, Aidan." She spoke to her horse, patting her hand on his muzzle. To Aidan, her words didn't seem so reassuring, and he would remain a little apprehensive as it was.

It was then a presence made itself known, to which both Asha and Aiden immediately turned their heads in the direction of the source of noise. Thankfully the approaching female didn't decide to drop in on short notice, or Aidan probably would have took off running as fast as his hooves could go, and Asha probably would have been chasing right after him. The woman was drab in ebony, dark as the scenery here. But with her carried something of a friendly tone, and a friendly appearance. Asha raised a hand to wave and acknowledge to her, actually glad to see someone else decided to make their ways here. "Hey there! You wouldn't happen to know what this place is called, would you?" Perhaps the dark female would be able to recite some history about this place.

It's ok! And thank you! ^^ 300+

It was always good to meet new people. Well, perhaps not always. There were plenty of unpleasant folks about that she would be happy to never encounter. Kansas' half brother had been one of them. Ugh! The nerve of that guy! But honestly her unpleasant encounters had been few and far between. There were very few she had met since coming here that she did not enjoy the company of. At least one from every pack or clan if she remembered correctly. The only one she knew from the tribe however was her sister-in-law Ember. Pilot had been there for a time, but then he had traveled south to find his long lost family. It would be good to meet someone else from the neighboring group.

As she finally closed the rest of the distance between her and the femme with her horse a wide smile was on her maw. One hand went to brush the wavy bangs from her face. "What it's called? Well, I don't know the formal name of it, aside from it being a castle. The humans used to live in them a very, very long time ago. Only for the nobility though. Have you never been here before? I've only come once myself." Savina could sense a nervous air coming from the equine. Was he spooked by something? That wouldn't do, perhaps she could help belay any fears the girl's companion harbored. "No reason to worry though, I never found any ghosts or evil spirits," she said with a playful wink. She didn't believe in such things. They were the stuff of pups' stories, though she knew there were some who did.

"I'm Savina Marino, from the Crimson Dreams pack." It would be rude to carry on any further without introductions. Once they were all acquainted then they could venture inside.

Listening to the dark woman's explanation of what this place was, unfortunately she couldn't provide the original name to it. Asha would have liked to know what the name was, and perhaps wound end up asking around one day if her curiosity was unsatisfied enough. However, the woman spoke about how the humans used to occupy the castle, and that was something of interesting intrigue. Looking at it thoughtfully, Asha wondered just how old this castle really was, and thought it would have been interesting to be back in the day when humans existed. She would have really liked to see how the humans conducted themselves, perhaps how they built this place in the first place. When the woman asked if Asha had been here before, she shook her head indignantly. "Nope! First time coming here, that's what drew me into this place. I'll have to say though this place warrants for a second return. It looks so eerie in an ... interesting way." The Amara would certainly have to come back here once again after this meet with the dark woman, for she knew several individuals who might get a kick out of this place themselves.

Expressing that there were no wandering phantoms, Asha was quite surprised to hear that statement. "Do you really think so? From where I come from, spirits are very much alive like how we are." She explained at first, delving into the customs of AniWaya. "Spirit Guides are unseen spirits that help assist us within AniWaya. Not everyone could see their Spirit Guide, but perhaps even then you might be right. No ghosts of the past could be here." Although it would be pretty interesting to run into one, then again the chances of it were unlikely, right? Asha wondered if this woman would buy her speech about the Spirit Guides, or if she heard about them before.

Introducing herself as Savina Marino from Crimson Dreams, Asha gave a cordial smile to this. "Savina. I'm Asha Amara of AniWaya. And this here is my quite frightful friend, Aidan." She gestured to the equine, in which it still looked very apprehensive and spooked. "I don't know what's up with him. Maybe he just doesn't like the area?" She posed to Savina with a bemused tilt of her head.
