p for Gotham ( YAYY!! )

The rain pattered on the manor’s windows, and violet eyes looked out at the assault. She watched it for a moment, entranced by the sound sand sight of it. The young woman pulled herself away, moving pack to the center of her room. Looking at the pictures that hung on every wall, some her own and others gathered form different places, Mati found that they were shadowed. The lack of sunlight made even the window filled room seem dark. She kneeled at the long table, lowering so that she was eye level with the creature that sat upon it. Ambrose was waiting, waiting for her to sit as the table and begin painting or drawing. He was used to that routine, sitting on her lap as she did so. Lets go, Am., she said softly. Picking the spiked pig up Mati let him cling to her arm, holding still onto the scars that she could no longer feel.

She exited her room, walking through the hallways and into the kitchen. The girl rummaged through a few of the cabinets. She wasn’t doing it on purpose, but Mati was looking for what Cambria had found. She imagined that she was looking something to eat, or something for Ambrose, but she wasn’t. It was just incase, just incase there was something that had been left and the pups might get into it. They had searched the house, and found nothing else. But the girl was still nervous, but not enough to keep looking. Finding some sort of vegetable that the hedgehog enjoyed she moved to the living room, setting Ambrose on the couch and began to pick up the few articles that were scattered across the floor.

I fail. 300+

Gotham missed the sunshine. The last bit of sun had been so long ago! The constant pounding of rain on the windows and the gray sky outside the house were enough to make anyone unhappy; he wondered if the rain was causing Cambria to feel even sadder. Even Dad seemed a little more down than usual. Why couldn't it be sunny? The dark boy slipped out of his family's room, heading toward the stairs. Once he saw the long flight of giant steps, his tail began to wag; he loved going down the stairs. He used to be afraid that he would fall, but now he'd mastered them. He still had to take the steps one-by-one, but he could do so with little hesitancy. He hummed a tune as he descended, his voice soft. "Hmm da dum, hmm hmm."

Finally he was on the ground floor. Gotham moved through the living room, trying not to look at the bad rain outside the windows. He was going to attempt to jump up on the couch, a skill he'd been trying to get don for the past few days. But a rustling in the kitchen made him pause before he could leap, his oversized ears rising. He crouched and stalked behind the couch, trying to suppress his boyish laughter. Whoever it was exited the kitchen and he heard her move into the living room. The couch creaked slightly as she sat down, and Gotham heard the rustling of papers. He slipped around the side of the couch, waited a moment, and leapt out in front to face Mati. "BOO!" he exclaimed triumphantly, his face twisted into the most ferocious snarl he could muster.

killi no fail. <3333! gotham is SOOO cute!

Mati held something that resembled the papers her mother had once shown her. They had words on them, along with the odd shapes that she didn’t recognize. They were large pieces of papers and the ornate shapes lined them like the words itself. Mati stacked them neatly and wondered who had left them, and if they could explain them to her. Loosing herself in the thoughts Mati hadn’t noticed the smell of another in the room. Eyes downward she didn’t even notice the little figure that crept up and pounced. The little shadow surprised her, sending head back and here eyes wide with a fright.

“Gotham!” She proclaimed, looking at the distorted face that he was giving her. Mati could not help but want to laugh. Expertly she held it in, looking at him with a more mischievous face then upset of shocked The young woman crouched to the floor in front of him. “You know, someone once told me that if you keep your face that way too long it’ll get stuck like that.” She smiled at him lovingly as she teased him softly. It was a joke of course.

Tank you! I adore Mati, too.

He loved Mati. All of them did; she took care of them when Momma and Dad were busy, and now she had been taking care of Cambria when she was sick. She seemed to be there whenever they needed her, and she was so sweet! He knew she was Naniko's little girl... he wondered if she was upset about her mother being gone now. He felt sorry for her. Gotham knew he would be sad if his Momma left.

His eyes widened when she showed her surprise; he must be really scary! His spirits soared even higher, and his already-stellar perception of her improved even more, simply because she had been fightened by him. She left the couch and got down to his level, which was very nice. But her words worried him. "Uh-ohs!" He rearranged his features so that he thought he was smiling. "'Sat better? Did it sticks?" Snarls were ugly! If he'd scared Mati so much and his face stayed like that, he'd go around scaring everyone. His eyes were frightful, not really fitting the forced smile.

^^ slight pp, hope you dont mind.

The large brown wolfess found that a certain place in her heart for the pups of their pack. They were the lifeblood of the entire family, the reason they came together. When ever she could the young woman sought them out, and she always agreed to watch them when Savina asked. Like the day Cambria had became ill, and then the next while the others had gathered for a meeting. Her mother had told her of what had been said, and she had been unable to hold the smile back at the words her friend Ares had spoke in front of the entire pack. Mati hadn’t minded missing it, or the outburst her sister had made.

Gotham attempted a smile, and his features moved into a happy puppy grin. She wanted to smile too, but hid it was a mock frown. Nodding her head slowly she gave a sad look and spoke,
“I dono..” Her voice trailed as she looked closely at the pups face. Violet eyes closed slightly as she examined him, moving her hands to the side of his face. “I might be able to help though.” She forced the smiled from her face, recollecting the act she put on as concerned adult. Gentle fingers went to his face, and with a finger on each side of his head Mati hoped to softly move the corners of his mouth into a big smile.
