Water?

Okay. He is trapped inside a closet like room because he managed to close the door by pushing it shut. He has pink, green and white pain all over his fur. Only one other person, and I'd like that to be someone that will not forget about it after a few rounds of replies. Thanks. Oh, and whoever picks up this thread is not allowed to eat Cow!

Cow was unhappy. There had been a time where there had been only light and warmth coming from the sky, but now the water was up there too, somehow. It could not understand what was happening. Water belonged in lakes and streams and wherever else. In other words; it belonged on the ground. Did all wet things come from the sky originally? The creature was unable to develop a proper theory on what was happening, but it had eventually determined that it did not like to have lots of wet stuff all over and in its fur all the time. At least not as often all the time as now! Days came and were then mostly forgotten by the large highland cattle, but it was quite certain that water did not come from above all the time.

To escape from that uncomfortable sky, the bull had wandered into an empty one room building that in the past had merely been a storage place of various things for a larger office building next to it. After entering it had started to nuzzle and lick some thing that had been attached to one side of the open entrance. All of a sudden the thing had started to move and somehow made the entrance disappear. The large creature did not understand what had happened. The large gray rectangle was stuck in the entrance. As the friendly and helpful creature it thought itself to be, the bull put a light pressure behind the thing in order to push the blocking element out of the entrance, but it was stuck. Weird things were happening.

There were no windows, and therefore the creature was now in complete darkness. It decided to walk around in a circle to think over what had just happened, and in that process it walked into many things (shelves and objects on the floor, mostly) as it pondered. The cow was already wet from having just arrived from the rainy outside, but suddenly now there were lots of wet and stinky stuff splashing over its fur. The creature mooed pathetically in confusion, unable to see the pink, white and green containers of paintings that it was walking into. It could only feel the sensation of thick liquid splattering heavily over its body. Was it night and water coming from the sky inside here? The cow had been quite certain that it had been daylight outside, but darkness meant night.

COOOOW.

The big wolf was eager to explore the city. There were many buildings here, and since none of the canines he'd encountered thus far seemed to have much use for human things, he thought he would find plenty of human artifacts here that he could use. He was right, and as he wandered about the city he discovered plenty of useful things. He carried a burlap sack over his shoulder, rattling with goods he'd scavenged from the human city. Some of them were gifts, and others he would just keep for himself. He wandered toward a small building, following an odd noise and a stranger smell. He came across a small building, low-lying and with a closed door. Too curious to help himself, he headed over to the ruin, setting his sack down next to the door and jiggling the handle. It popped open, and a rectangle of light fell into the small cottage, exposing a colorful, confused cow. The indigo-eyed wolf blinked in confusion; this was surely the strangest sight he'd ever seen.

For a while, the creature circled in its uneven circles before it eventually stopped. It felt weird. The strange liquid water rain from inside the darkness smelled strong and funny, and if there had been a hint of light inside the room, it would have been revealed by a slightly blurry and twisting vision that Cow was dizzy. It was night, time for sleep, no light and only darkness indicated that there was no sun to make light and sun was day and never night, dark was night so this was dark night and sleep time. Suddenly the thing that blocked the entrance did not block it anymore, and Cow was thrown into a chaotic sea of confusion. Was light outside, so light that the bull became temporally blind as its eyes slowly grew used to the light. Cow’s nose caught wolf wolf wolf wolf. This was not an immediate reason for going on a rampage, because lately Cow had met many small woofers that he had not needed to run away from. It had also run into a wolf smelling cow that it intended to mate with properly. Blurry eyes took in a figure that was tall and too close all at once. The large bull mooed loudly and started to run right at the creature. It had locked Cow into the night and made bad smell and then stolen the light! All this strangely seemed to make sense to the kyole, although it most likely did not for anyone else.

OMG CRAZY COW.

Charon wasn't totally unaccustomed to creatures like this one, though he'd never seen one that was so colorful and carried such a strange, chemical odor. It made the wolf's pale nose wrinkle, and he blinked, staring into the darkness at the cow for a moment as the creature did the same. There was only blank dullness in the creature's face, and no recognition for a long moment as the cow simply stared forward and Char did the same, two total idiots locked in an eternal staring contest until something changed. The painted ungulate charged for the wolf, and the big silver wolf gave a shout and darted out of the way, heading right for the tiny building and scaling up to the roof without second thought. His limbs were shaking with fear and adrenaline as he sat up on the roof, peering anxiously down at the angry creature. He peered over the edge of the building's roof, indigo eyes seeking the massive cow with his big, deadly-looking horns. Char sure hoped he wouldn't get speared by one of those; they'd kill him for sure. He crouched down a little more, his azure gaze focused squarely on the agitated animal.

There were lights and wolves and no grass in immediate reach. This was no longer Cow’s world. There was also a rather strong and unpleasant scent in his nose. The creature had taken many rounds around in a room reeking with fresh and strong paint scent. Cow did not understand why the world was not flat anymore. No, the world was running around. It did not know- It just knew that something was not entirely right. There was a barking thing here; it had to be barking thing that had done this to the bull. The large highland critter turned around and managed to see a grey form on top of a thing. It did not recognize the building as the very place where it had been trapped few moments ago. Cow was not very smart compared to.. normal things with brain. Somewhat unsteadily, Cow made its way over to the building again, horns and top of skull colliding into the walls under the wolf. How did barking thing get up there? This could mean that the wolf was taller than Cow, something that would not be a good thing.

The chemical scent wafting up from the creature was almost too much for Charon to bear; now that he saw the thing was covered with paint now and he almost felt bad for him. Poor, confused bastard. Frowning, Char peered down over the ledge to his bag, which had been tossed aside in his scramble. It was just out of the canine's reach and just out of the range of the bull's sharp hooves. The wolf had never wished so badly he could speak low-speech; his sister used to speak to the birds when she was alive, but Char had never bothered to pay close attention to her words. He cleared his throat and spoke in regular high speech, hoping perhaps smooth vocalizations would calm the creature enough. "Uhh... heeey, boy. Calm down, now. I'm not going to hurt you," the wolf spoke, trying to force his normally low voice into a higher-pitch, thinking perhaps it might soothe the angry bull. He tapped on the roof with the flat of his hand, attempting to catch the creature's attention. "What happened to you, huh?" he pondered, peering down at the large bull.

Night and odd water and weirdness were what had happened. Unfortunately, Cow did not understand barking language. It felt slightly odd though, like, odder than its usually oddness. The super tall wolf was making light sounds like those miniature barking wolves that he had met earlier, and they never hurt the Highland bull. They were only a bit irritating every now and then because sometimes they barked lots, like that time when he found that odd tree that was not a tree and when he stepped on something soft that he did not understand what was. Cow mooed at the odd wolf, uncertain of what kind of creature this two legged tree wolf thing truly was. This wolf thing did not smell like mate like that other two legged wolf thing had. The great animal rolled with its eyes and pushed against the wall. Suddenly a light went on inside the darkness. It was not a tall wolf; it was a wolf on top of a tall thing! Cow took a half step back before it pathetically started to scratch the wall with its hooves, attempting to climb up to where the odd barking thing was. This attempt was highly unsuccessful in every possible way.

Dude, I made one of those dumb mistakes we were talking about, marked with the *. I actually typed "mominute" lmfao. Hybrid of moment/minute, I guess. XD

The pale silver wolf recalled his conversation with young Miss Amata, about keeping pets and why some humans had chosen to do it. At the time, he hadn't understood at all—and really, he still didn't—but he was starting to comprehend. He felt bad for this poor, confused creature, all covered in paint, and he wanted to help, if only the bull would let him. At the same time, though, he didn't want to get stomped into a million pieces on the ground, either. His tail swished as he leaned over the edge of the shack, peering at the ungulate with his ears pressed back. Char was at a loss as to what to do here. His voice had at least given the big, hooved animal pause, so the pale wolf tried it again. "C'mon now, take it easy," he said, easily. If only he knew a word of low speech—then maybe he could calm the creature down. Frowning, the wolf looked away from the bull for a moment* to peer up and down the city street, his shining indigo eyes gleaming now. He wasn't quite so scared for himself—he felt rather safe up here, out of the reach of the creature's horns and hooves. Now he just felt compassion for the poor thing, all covered in that nasty, chemical-smelling stuff. "Look," he exclaimed suddenly, putting on his best fearful expression and pointing behind the cow. Maybe if he could distract him for a second, he could get down and run away, toward water—that way at least the animal could wash himself off, even if he still wanted to kill Char.

Table thanks to James.

Rofl, mominute Tongue Oh, and I apooologize for the wait D:

Cow could not climb a sleek wall in concrete. It failed to understand why this was, but it could detect that it was still on the ground. Its front hooves slid down from the wall and all four limbs were stationed at the ground again. The large bull’s tail swung rapidly, though the area seemed blessedly free of annoying insects for now. Cow could not understand it’s odd vision. Things smelled funny and it seemed to be a lot of dancing things catching his attention now. The wolf was too moving. Or perhaps there were three wolves, slowly moving in circles, looking all alike. Cow mooed desperately, not wanting more woofers that could eat it up. Cow did not want to be eaten because its kind did not usually want to be eaten. It was not particularly smart, but this the animal knew. Survive and grass was good. Doggies and death was not so good.

If Cow had been smarter, the trick that the wolf tried to fool it with would possibly have worked. Cow did not understand bark bark language, and when the thing on the roof pointed behind it, the Cow simply did not understand that the canine was pointing at something. No, Cow only saw canine and nothing else. Distractions were very effective on Cow, but only if the great animal understood what was the distraction. Cow felt dizzy. He mooed again, sad because there were many wolves and boxes making his brain confused. The ground too seemed to want to spin around together with all the canines and boxes. Cow wondered where there was grass. It was hungry.

I am terrible. |: I apologize. And LOL, Cow is high on paint fumes. XD

His trick hadn't worked. Disappointed, Char settled back again, his arm dropping as he peered down at the animal. Neither Cow nor Char were particularly intelligent models of their species, for if Char was smart, he would have shifted to Secui form and simply outran the damn cow. Char himself was a little bit slow, and so he was confounded by his predicament, stuck up on top of a building with a rather angry bull beneath him. Still, maybe he had done something right, because as he stood there peering at the animal, it seemed to settle a little—his eyes rolled around and his incessant attempts to get at the silvery canid ceased. He peered around a little, looking this way and that.

After a moment of this, Charon's eyes narrowed, and he edged toward the far end of the roof. They were in the city, but there was a small creek, buried beneath the buildings and eventually draining into the sewer, that he'd passed by some time ago. Maybe if he got the animal there, he would be able to help him get some of that paint off. Char really felt bad for the poor thing; he was obviously confused and now he was acting a little funny, maybe the paint had an ill effect on him? The wolf had reached the edge of the little shack, and now he waited a moment, looking at the cow for a long minute before he jumped to the ground, darting away as fast as he could lest the animal gave chase. When he was a good distance away, he stopped and turned around, peering at the big bovine to see if he would give chase or follow.

Yesh :]

Suddenly all the wolves disappeared out of sight. Cow mooed in confusion, but it was now looking down at the grass-empty ground, feeling extremely much odder than usual. The ground was supposed to stand still because that was what it was supposed to do, but it felt like the bull’s whole world was playing a trick on him now, dancing, twisting and turning. Nothing made any sense, and a strong and unpleasant scent stung in his large nostrils. Tongue helplessly leaped in and out of them in order to somehow wash away the unpleasant smell, but it could not get anything but a few boogers. The large animal mooed again and turned its gaze upwards again to see if the wolves still wanted to eat it, but there were no longer lots of wolves there. Okay, that was easy. Cow was very big and strong and brave so he had scared them away. The bull lowered its gaze to the ground again, slowly turning around, almost tripping as it did. Tricky ground and sky and buildings being weird! There were more wolves! They were standing at some distance, so perhaps he could try to scare them away with his mighty horns if they wanted to try to eat him. Cow mooed, then when it started to walk towards the wolf it fell on its side, wriggling its body in confusion.

LOL Charmuse is fail. At least this thread makes me lulz. <3

The wolf watched as the animal seemed to keep staring at the spot where he had been for some time, the roof. Frowning, Char wondered what the hell was wrong with this cow. He'd been in a strange spot, to say the least—and he was covered in paint! Sighing, the wolf crossed his arms, waiting for the animal to take note of him. After a few more moments of confusion, the bull turned toward the wolf, and seemed about to charge him. Readying himself, Char tensed up, his indigo eyes flaring wide in fear. He didn't want to have to leave his stuff there, but if he didn't distract the bovine or get him away, he'd never get it back!

The pallid wolf watched in amazement as the poor cow fell right over onto his side, and the loner winced at the audible thud as the animal hit the ground. His ears and tail drooped, and he crept toward the downed animal. What the hell was he supposed to do now? The silver canine edged closer to the animal, feeling very bad for it. It looked so sad and pathetic there on its side, thrashing around on the ground. Char was supposed to eat things like Cow, but he was a dumb animal himself, and he really only wanted to help.

Whining softly, the wolf got a sudden idea. Maybe if he got a little water, the cow would think he knew where more water was, and he would be able to drink and wash himself off? The wolf darted off again, and returned in short order with a cracked, dirty mug with the handle missing, a bit of the creekwater in the bottom of it. The wolf ran back to the animal, rather unceremoniously dumping the cup of water into the bovine's face, immediately skittering back again in case he suddenly figured out how to get to his feet.
